If you hadn't have got that on film as evidence I wonder if the blame would have been put on the modified cars just because of the hate this kind of thing attracts.

Wow. I know what happened. Im saying car meets/crusies have such a bad reputation that any kind of accident the locals of the area would blame the modiefied cars for it without hesitation.
But Adam stating that the cars at the meet were all behaving wasn’t quite true (M5 drivers in particular). However most weren’t driving like dicks.

Haha! The way that lambo accelerated meant it did way more than the posted 40mph limit, which is probably a bit more to do with it. 😏
If you’re going to do that in front of a police car then you’re either taking the piss or not paying attention, either way they probably only had a word. No concrete proof without a calibrated speed gun pointed at the car.
They could well have been going after the jacked up Discovery that was blowing a lot of black smoke.
The way he punches the air after doing so was asking to be pulled over. Police won't fine him though, they only ticket people who can't afford to pay it

Old fender bender very common had one myself last year some person pulled out crashed into my daily... Not a big deal but it's the muck around getting it to the shop qoutes and dealing with insurance dropping it off picking it up....

I love the variety, everything from American muscle to exotics, ratrods, and Beetles. Funny hearing the cylinder to head seal leak in the Bug and the supercharger whine in a few Minis. Amazing to think those 914s have the same motor as a '70s bus. 🙄
I'd guess the whine from the classic Mini's is from straight-cut gearboxes.

That reminds me of when we were on vacation on the Monterey CA peninsula and caught the cars arriving for Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. For me, watching the cars coming and/or going is more fun than the (stationary) show itself, although I always enjoy classic car shows, anyway.
