The USA has been targeting civilians in conflict zones year in year out for the last twenty-five years to terrorize their enemies, but this has universally been in nations that have no way to defend themselves against the USA.
It probably did not occur to the USA that they would get a very different response when they targeted civilians in a nation that can defend itself against such terror tactics. They are that pathetic.

@cyclopathic998 While I agree that the Ukrainians alone are not able to program the ATACMs by themselves and they need "others" to do that job (we know very well who the "others" are), the rest of your logic fails on the basic question: Was the missile programmed to hit the beach?
I do not exclude that hypothesis which can be explained by despair leading to a desire to cause damage to the other side at any cost (moral cost as well). But as long as we do not have a proof that the so called accident was intentional we should be a little more prudent.
If a plane taking of, looses a heavy component (an engine, say) which falls on your house, that would be a sad accident or should the airline be accused of a crime for flying over your home instead of choosing a safer path???

Even if we just normalized against the population of the Reich: 69 Mio this would be close to the maximum monthly losses of the Wehrmacht in 1944.
No army can survive such immense losses for more than a couple of months.

if you study the direction of the beach attack ATACMS by the pattern of dropping cassettes you'll find out it was heading nowhere near Bilbek. It's pointing towards Sevastopol itself. Then the fact the missile performed normally tells us it was not jammed or destroyed - it released all the submunition units successfully. If you look closely at what happened there is no doubt this one ATACMS was intentionally targeting the beach. It's most effective exactly there.
It is not surprising at all for me - i live in Belgorod for a year now and they're targeting civilians all the time. There are absolutely sick cases even Russian federal news agencies don't talk about.
