I felt it to my core when she said "in a middle eastern family you're supposed to be something 'serious', doctor, lawyer, engineer, etc." It's disheartening that my family expected this out of me, too. Up to this day, they ask me "what did you even go to school for then?" I feel like they see me as a failure. It brings me to tears.

You are not a failure, life is such a journey. Some people find their purpose so quickly and other times you go through ups and downs and you feel so out of place and feel like you're not doing what you went to school to do (myself included). Keep your head up! you are loved, you are strong, you are intelligent!! Amazing things happen sometimes when you least expect it! I feel like a failure too because I want to pursue my beauty blog and youtube channel and I feel like my parents are like what are you doing (they don't say it, but I feel like they think it) anyways... keep pushing xx

Her lipsticks and lip liners are great! The mascara, not so much imo
The lipsticks and eye palettes are amazing! Honestly, all of it is, but we're obsessed with her new Color Block palettes that are launching soon.

I love your story. I guess I would ask for other people who can't afford you high-end make up if you came out with an extention of your brand that had some affordable items so that all women can feel empowered like you.
