Yes, that is what led me to this video. Now I am pausing it and trying to spot myself in the crowd (I'm very tall). I was at that festival. The goosebumps never subsided during the whole set 🤟
Actually, I will counter with this. No one has ever talked about him ever. I love mudvayne but they’re terrible live. Also I hope you’re joking about them getting back together.
That was the best part of their concert. It was the same list in the album but sometimes they change it when it comes to live. I hope they always stay like that. It fires people!
This era takes me right back to freshman year in college and playing this cd to death. In the car, in the apartment, at work all day everyday. This is probably my favorite mudvayne era. Everyone’s firing on all cylinders.
Man, I feel the same way. Their first 2 albums were incredible. 3rd album you could feel them drifting away from what made them so special. Everything after that was just....almost intentionally mediocre.
First time I saw mudvayne live was after the released the single not falling and Ryan blew me away never seen a bassist with that much skill and energy. Always been a fan of Chad's mohawk
Being a long Mudvayne fan since LD50.... they werent really aprecciated at their time... now everyone fuckings wants it.... hope this is their chance to blast those festivals!!! Finally Mudvayne have their spot back!! I cant wait to watch Ryan slap that bass!!
Flawless to every detail. Chads raw power here made it sound just as expressive as the album... always on key, and the screams were amazing. Same with the rest of the band. This era of mudvayne got me into heavy shit when I was like 10 years old and every time it's immediate nostalgia from some of the best times in my life all the way through my teenage and young adult years. Really looking forward to seeing them again in this stage in my life!
Binging on live videos since they started their reunion shows. My favorite band ever and Ryan is the sole reason I picked up a bass when I was 13. Twenty years later and he continues to inspire.
I think by 2005 nu metal was actually near death. Korn had peaked long before this. Limp Bizkit fizzled away very publicly. Not sure if Mudvayne is nu metal either.
@@russianbear6384 bullshit.. hes rapping in some tracks its clearly nu metal ... if you think ld50 isnt a nu metal album then you clearly don't know what nu metal sounds like
Music isn't a massive thing for Gen Z. It's become lost with all the technology, phones apps and bs. Just look at the state of music now. Rock and metal bands don't stand a chance these days unless it's older ones already established. A shame.
I fuckin love this band from day one and I will always , they are my all time favorite band whether they were actively together or not ... FUCK YA I'M SO EXCITED THAT THEIR BACK ... MUDVAYNE ROCKS
I saw them during this tour when they played download, I remember waking up on the last day and they played first during a midday set, and it was a beautiful wake up call, they are so good live!
What a band, I still listen to their records and I keep searching live shows like this one... Too short for the time they deserved on the stage by the way!
i now know why they call ryan ryknow because it sounds like rhino and he is a rhino on that base we will never forget the day he picked up the bass guitar
Watched this again after the reunion news.
Same 😭
Same
Same here
Fuck ya man!!!!!!!!

The day Ryan Martinie picked up a bass guitar for the first time should be recognized as a holiday.
hahaha
i love this

This band never got the recognition they really deserved. Now they’re gone and everyone misses them
They need to tour again for sure
They´re back!
Imagine if they could write songs. Unstoppable.
They're baaaaaaackkkk
There Back!!!!
Anyone here after the reunion announcement???
yes, I found it strange that in my old memories this show was better ... kkkkkkk
Hell yeah
Yes, that is what led me to this video. Now I am pausing it and trying to spot myself in the crowd (I'm very tall). I was at that festival. The goosebumps never subsided during the whole set 🤟

Holy shit silenced live is unreal. His voice is just incredible.
Chad is a monster
OMFG. Most underrated vocalist and frontman 🔥
-1 always sets the mood for Mudvayne and the transition into Death Blooms is seamless..
The mosh pit for -1 was insane!!

Chad has one of the best damn screams in metal.
Matt is such an underrated drummer.... can’t believe they’re finally getting back together. Criminally underrated band.

@@martinshu123 1. Matt is an awesome drummer. 2. They are going on tour this year

Pure rage screams hes putting out. Its beyond words. I cant believe how close it sounds to studio versions. If not better.
That transition from -1 to Death Bloom!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Yeah, I know. When I listened that, I say... OMFG!!! Hahaha

Can you imagine being at the first reunion show and they open with dig? Holy shit
they recently did!!!!! omfg
I was at incarceration their first concert back together and it was awesome
Perfect audio to hear Ryan's bass loud and clear. Hypnotizing
I love how the bass is in front along with the voice, sounds so solid, incredible

I grew up listening to them. They were my favorite band during highschool.
The bassist looks like a normal guy, not the same from the Dig video clip 🤣
He an alien 100%
MUDVAYNE IS A KICK ASS BAND
this is correct
If only they continued this trajectory of whatever nu metal/prog metal path they were on
Man, I feel the same way. Their first 2 albums were incredible. 3rd album you could feel them drifting away from what made them so special. Everything after that was just....almost intentionally mediocre.

The coolest chad ever
You should watch 4-9-05 in Philly
Watching this in 2021 makes me want to go back to (the early 2000's) SO BAD!
I can’t wait for September 😩
Saw them this year in Nashville, to this day still the loudest concert I’ve ever been to. It’s not just the volume, it’s the energy that’s nonstop.
Dig 25:09 ryan is running to south africa while playing bass
This concert looks so good wish I wasnt like 7 at this time
I just graduated high school. I feel old.
But definitely a timeless band.
But you can keep carrying the metal torch 😎🤘🤘
I was 2 years old. I know that when mudvayne was in mexico city, I needed 12 days for to see in my country. This is a thing so sad.
I was 4 years old lol

I'd say after Forget to remember got featured on the first Saw movie, they really hot big after that.
And hopefully, they're around after the festivals. I got tickets either way to one of them bc I'm not missing it!
@@sunilanand1007 that was saw 2 but the first the one was really great
Mudvayne is the only band that can play super heavy sht like this while looking like an everyday Metalcore band
I don't think we'll ever hear another band quite like Mudvayne. Amazing live too
Bro this set is crazy, the transitions, everyone sounds incredible, but damn I didn’t know he could sing this well live
His high scream is incredible

Just about the tour couldn't hear Chad!
Golden age of nu metal....bring back memories
They were never nu metal. Just got lumped in with that genre
