Hey Lance ... Saturn is top on my list! Imagine the awe Galileo Galilei felt when he first observed Saturn and its rings! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and final imaging. Of the two images (both were good) I liked the coloring of image #1. The rings of Saturn draw me in ... I wish I could fly around them! lol! Also, I LOVE your water garden! Thanks again!
@@adventuresofshadowdog yeah, but we won’t talk about that! I’m taking a mulligan on that first try last year. I’m on it weather and moon permitting this weekend or early this week.
Thank you so very much Steve! That means a lot to me. I love to learn and to share and comments like yours are an inspiration to keep going. Thanks again!
Hi Lance, I like image 1 the best because of the colour. I still remember the first time I saw the rings of Saturn through a 5" table top dobsonian - I was thrilled.
Mine are Saturn and Jupiter. Like to spot the the Cassini division of Saturn. Takes a clear night for that with my telescope. And view the moons of Jupiter.
Lance, that was stellar! I do believe I liked image 1 better, Im a sucker for color what can I say. Back in the 90's I was more into astronomy, I belonged to the Orange County Astronomers Association. I had my face glued to my 41/2 inch Newtonian at Jupiter watching comet Eugene Levy break apart and get swallowed up. I saw a large plume from Jupiter then it was gone, I was so excited at what I had seen. Do you have any images from Eugene Levy? Thanks Lance, excellent video
Wow! That must have been exhilarating! I do not have any images from the Eugene Levy comet. That must have been so cool! Thanks for sharing that experience! 😎
Hi Lance an Shadow, for my photo 1 is the one I like the most. Isn't there a way you can combine them to get the colors on the second one? Any way, thanks for the video. Saludos fron Spain, Rob.
Hi Rob! I have to admit the planetary imaging and processing are a real challenge for me. I don’t do it very often. Do you have much experience with planets? Maybe I need to come to Spain and learn a few things from you. And Shadow can learn to bark in Spanish! Lol
@@adventuresofshadowdog No, in planetary imaging I don't have any experience. First I need to get beter in deepsky and knowing all ins and outs of my equipment and processing. But for sure I'm gonna try sometime in the future. Your welcome in Spain with Shadow. .... one of our dogs barks also Dutch :)
This was amazing, Lance. I like both of the images. They are both spectacular. 😊
Thanks!!!

I’m glad you mentioned Galileo! I can only imagine what he must have first thought. I wish I had a Time Machine!
Really nice detail, especially the rings! They were crisp and could see divisions. That big DOB is super cool!
Cheers!
Doug
Thanks so much Doug! Have you shot Saturn before?

Awesome!
I always look forward to your videos. You are a great teacher, thank you so much for sharing your gift.

I remember the first time I viewed Saturn, also through a dobsonian. I too was thrilled. It is spectacular to behold!
Just fiund your videos. Very interesting! Thank you...
Likewise, thank you for watching and leaving a nice comment. 😎
Interesting and informative video. I prefer the crisper image. Thanks.
Thanks Charles! 🪐
My favorite planet. After Pluto that is.
Saturn is an awesome planet!

I think you should make a video where Shadow does the narration hehehe
I do too!

Hello, still waiting for your email reply.
Show the fish babies. Or else.
Okay! I will cuz I don’t want to experience the “or else!”
