Grapes are more poisonous than chocolate by far. Chocolate, like corn to us, doesn't really get digested, and can plug up the digestive system. Grapes do get digested, but one whole grape is more often than not too much poison for the system to handle.

Grapes are more poisonous than chocolate by far. Chocolate, like corn to us, doesn't really get digested, and can plug up the digestive system. Grapes do get digested, but one whole grape is more often than not too much poison for the system to handle.
This blows my mind, honestly. Had a dog as a kid that loved grapes and would immediately snap them up if you dropped one. Granted, we never gave her more than one at a time. But she lived to a very old age before dying of natural causes. I never would have guessed.
