Requesting Halo without power weapons and fun vehicles is crazy, that’s been some of the most fun shit in Halo since the start
He didn't say no PW, just no annoying vehicles. Which means basically just warthog, maybe mongoose only. Honestly I second that. Hate playing BTB with Scorpions especially. Same goes for Battlefield 4. Tanks, Heli's, and planes in that game are so stupidly annoying. The attack boats too. I want the big maps and player counts, just remove all the annoying bullshit people camp in constantly and ruin games with. I should know, when I was a kid, I used to camp on Blood Gulch on Halo CE PC in the Scorpion at the back of the map on both the red and blue sides and cross map snipe people. No one could get anywhere close without me seeing them, and you can just hide yourself from the snipers. It's fun for the people that camp the vehicles, but absolutely nobody else. And that's what it ALWAYS turns into nowadays. Most of the time I won't even play the game anymore if it has borderline OP player controllable vehicles and there's no way to not play against/with them. I don't want them on my team either. Imo they ruin gameplay in more than one way.

helldivers gets old though. I played 50 hours and have max ship, all stratagems, playing against bugs or automatons on helldive-9 difficulty. they dropped a new war bond progression (battle-pass lite) but it doesnt incentivize me enough to play the same missions, whereas doing some pvp, even with a game you've played 10,000 times, players... humans, and their individual choices, are of a wider variety.

helldivers is what you should all expect from games now! real shiny at first and after a few hours its just rinse and repeate! same shit over and over! "AAA" games are corprate games! just there to take your money!
