I thought my phone (700 nits) was bright enough until I had to take pictures under broad daylight. The 1800 nits are definitely enough. 😅
Usually the 1800 nits advertised are only like in 1% window (very small dots) used in HDR movies like Netflix, so with auto brightness typically you get much less (I would assume around 700-1000 nits instead)
I don't have the device to measure it but do keep in mind when you take photos outside usually the phone heats up making the display throttle much sooner (and go much dimmer) so maybe that's the case
Look for HBM (High brightness mode) not the peak brightness
@@namedkennmy F5 reaches 1000 nits while 13tpro 1200
In gsmarena test its only 1148 nits. But yeah 1000 is a huge jump in outdoor visibilty from the 500-600 of old midrangers.
That's peak brightness it goes 1300 nits in auto mode and 500 nits in manual
Currently using the X6 Pro and have no issues with it aside from higher standby power usage than my previous F5. The F6 recently got certified in Indonesia, really looking forward for it!
Yeah really looking forward to the F6 series as well!
X6 is also a decent phone with the SD 7 series chipset.
I am choosing between Poco X6 Pro and NP 2a. What's better for the price?
@@nihhhdwynvcewwwwwww performance wise, x6 pro is definitely faster. if ur just gonna use your phone for normal light daily usage, NP 2a is not bad either
Thank you! This was the best review I’ve seen on this phone so far!
What a great review, Kenneth. Even though I'm not a gamer, I believe purchasing this phone for work purposes is more than sufficient. Considering the price, I can get a decent camera, good battery life, and multitasking capabilities as well. This will likely be my final review video before making the purchase!
Absolutely! And the phone would last you a very long time to come, hope you'll enjoy it!
I purchased mine less than a week ago, I watched some reviews beforehand so I was expecting it to be good, but wasn't expecting it to be a *complete beast.* For someone who hasn't had any good phones throughout his entire life, I'd happily use this baby forever lol
Great review as always
Thanks again!
Wait till things get optimized for this chipset.because this phone has so much potential
Hello, what are your camera settings for the x6 pro? Much appreciated
Great video, THX for making it :) I just am not sure which one to get, the POCO X6 Pro or the Xiaomi 13T pro... any suggestions? I have been watching reviews for days now :)
Personally the 13t, the t series has something that makes it worth it
Damn that's impressive. I'll have to replace my POCO F3 next year and I wonder if Xiaomi releases something even better by then
Try poco f6 series
Poco F6 and F6 pro are definitely better. I'd say if you have enough, go for the F6 pro 'cause the Snapdragon 8 gen 2, even tho the performance is similar to the 8s gen 3 of the regular poco f6, will probably have much better optimization and driver support since many phones used it and it's been a while longer in the market.
Can always count on yah for genuine reviews
I appreciate you! Thanks 😁
Thanks for the review (even though I already own it) and the Darker rec.
Do you have \ know of any app that can make the always on display actually BE always on? It's really annoying to have an option for only 10 seconds and then having to tap on the screen for another 10 seconds.
Turn off system optimisation in developer options
@@GameCentre555 Thanks and sorry for the late reply, for some reason I don't receive notifications for replies. I have searched by writing it and even searched for it in the actual developer settings but couldn't find it. The only optimization option I can find is for app cache.
I think it’s in the always on display settings no? It’s quite hidden but it’s there
@@GameCentre555 I turned off the sys opt but I still don't have an option for it to be always on, only for 10 seconds.
@@namedkenn Nope. The only option is for 10 seconds
Thanks for the review
Any time!
Kenneth Tanaka Thanks for posting this video
You're welcome
In your opinion, what's the best color variant of the POCO X6 Pro?
Kenneth you know that Gcam exists and it can improve main cammera even more. So it is win win in every angle.
Will be great a future review of poco f6
You bet it'll come! 😁
Is dimensity 7200 good ?I had short budget about 100$ short
Have you chanced on the specs of both the Tecno Camon 30 pro/premier and Infinix GT 20 Pro
He can probably review Infinix GT20 Pro if he gets one, but no luck with the Camon yet as it isn't released in the channel's region.
Haha man you’re very familiar with these things yeah! What you said is true, as of right now I’ll try to get in touch with Infinix PR and see if I can review the GT20 Pro
hi Kenn I'm planning to replace my Huawei nova 3 to poco x6 regular not pro, but I'm still hasn't fully convinced yet because I see the focal length of the front camera of it were too close for vlogging, is there any alternative to poco x6 (regular not pro) at the same price point ofc, thank you!
the xiaomi pocophone series is more for gaming, if you want good cameras or anything like that, look up to the newer galaxy A phones, like the a35, a55 (or the galaxy k zoom lol jk)
Im still rocking the F1 😂
This honestly looks amazing specs wise, but i was really looking foward for a good camera.
Do you have any recomendations with this kinda budget?
Can you guys update me for bootloop or deadboot issues?
Got the x6 pro in Jan, in India. 12gb ram and 512 rom variant. Gaming and performance has been rock solid. Extremely satisfied. I do hardcore gaming, and yes, i need to charge it for 20 mins in the middle but with fast charging its fine.
You should've tried running CSSO 0.5 or higher at high settings because that's one good way I like to push devices gaming capabilities basically like running a PC game ported to mobile it's just a modded sauced up variant of CS Source running on the source engine
The only game I actually play is Nikke, and my current phone can't keep up on the most intensive boss battles, so I'm looking for alternatives. This one would definitely run it smoothly, althought it might be a little overpower. Price is ok I guess, but I hate that not having a headphone jack and micro SD card expansion is becoming a trend.
One of the best phone produced by POCO
Wait for Poco f6
@@reynanmondragon8712 debatable, but let's see till it launch in indonesia
Yeah in terms of price to performance this is just crazy
@@yuvengunawan5542 8s gen 3
How about the motherboard?
Yo! Geat vid thanks for the review, i have a question, i was looking forward to buying samsung galaxy a25 5g but do you think poco x6 5g is better? (Not the pro version)
in my country the poco x6 5g costs more than the a25 5g, but in perfomance for gaming the poco x6 5g is way better. the only down is the camera i think
@@onegamermillgraunescau2536 ohh thanks
I can confirm the Poco X6 Pro Gorilla Glass 5 protection works, I broke the screen protector that came with it but the screen itself is good. I dropped it's own charger on the screen about 12-15inches and the tip of the conductor hits it's screen I still got scared yes so I don't recommend doing it or being clumsy like me 😅
Looking forward to your take on the f6 compared to the x6 pro
What about the latest hyperos update? Also any ghost touch problem?
Nothing so far
Pls try using fps recording software
USB A is still the best option atm imo because it's still what I have in my computer to plug the phone in. I also am affraid that depending on which position the charger is in, the USB C plug will deteriorate faster but idk.
Really good performance on Genshin ngl. If I put on the same graphical settings I have currently on my tablet (which has snapdragon 870) I believe I could get constant 60 with this phone. Since I can get 55+ on normal gameplay with little to no dips on my tablet already with my mix of high and med graphics.
For daily use, do you think this or Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is better? Anyway, fantastic review
Yes redmi is better. For gaming poco
Bought this phone twice and I need to say that there are 2 major issues with it:
1- The screen, it's so dull even with the vivid setting is on. At first you won't notice it but with time you will notice. Even an LCD will look more colorful than this panel.
2- The auto brightness is not working properly, it's either too bright or too dim, there's nothing in between and sometimes it won't work at all.
With activity launcher you can active extra dim without root just search the option into the app and open that setting :D
Appreciate it! Will try this trick out 😁
Why no one is talking about how insane the phone speakers are. It's like a good quality mini Bluetooth speaker
What about the ads. Is it like xiaomi like we can turn it off or it's still going to pop now and then in the system?
Theres tutorials, you can turn them off.
Man thx i've seen test where the phone wasn't great at genshin and HSR i guess it wasn't 12/512 but i still can't decide between poco x6 pro and honor Magic 6 or 5 pro 😅😭
Thanks for the review. Will you review infinix gt 20 pro? It got dedicated chip for fps boost and bypass charging . Still deciding wether to get x6 pro or gt 20 pro as 2nd phone for gaming purposes.
X6 Pro has better chipset performance and better screen quality, while GT 20 will give a better gaming experience through 120 fps options on multiple games, better gaming space, longer battery life during gaming session, and the bypass charging you mentioned.
Actually very interested to check it out, I have to try get in touch with the PR and see if I can review one, will keep you updated!
Is it a problem if i go just with the 256 gb version of this phone? Or is it required to get the 512 cuz the 512 one is like 70 moee bucks
If you like taking pictures, maybe 512 is your option. But if only for browsing, gaming, music, and light social media activity, then 256 is more than enough. Usually google user already got free 15Gb free cloud to backup your photo (reduced quality)
I would love to know if this phone works with Wuthering waves ? does it do good with that , or would you recommend something else ?
Yeah it does! Although the game is so heavy you’ll put it around medium 30fps for good thermal and long term performance
@@namedkenn Thanks so much for the reply ! Are there any others you could recommend in this price class that might be better? Maybe the tecno pova 6 pro ? Id love to hear been looking at reviews all week xD cant make up my mind my asus rog 5 just broke.
Today is 5.5 sale and i can afford this Poco X6 Pro now but I'm waiting and see what's in the Poco F6 😭
Yeah I'm actually quite excited for that one as well, but don't know if POCO will send me one for review 😅
It rumors that redmi turbo 3 will be the f6.. it's using 8s gen 3..a better version of 8 gen 2 i guess
@@fakrulamin1594 8 Gen 2 is superior in GPU so in term of gaming 8 Gen 2 is still better. 8s Gen 3 in other hand, it has better CPU si it's better in daily use and as well it's advertised to have great AI capabilities
@@fakrulamin1594 The S8g2 still superior because the Adreno 740 better then the 735 in the S8sG3
Poco f6 have massive heating issue bro. Even worse than x6 pro.
Bro. Will there be any improvement from the poco team to make it smooth while playing warzone mobile.? From the updates of poco x6 pro
The poco x6 pro has dimensity 8300 ultra which is better than snapdragon 870 so it can probably run cod warzone on stable 90 fps while on high graphics plus it had 12 gigs of ram
It's not all about poco, the warzone mobile proves to be bias for iphones it won't run too well in a few updates
Considering it's still a new game, we can just slowly wait for the dev to optimize it as we go

Can you review realme gt 6t?
You can also try Realme 6t GT . That phone also comes around that price and have similar specs to this phone and have a better cooling system and better battery and charging speeds at 120W and it has a snapdragon 7+ gen 3 which prevides around the same performance as this phone if not better because 7+ gen 3 is basically a 8 gen 2 like processor so yeah no doubt this phone is great but also try that out its a really good phone though the only downside is its plastic back but i don't have an issue as i m bit clumsy and drop my phone so i prefer plastic and metallic over glass back
No bro D8300+ is a demon chipset snapdragon 8gen1 performance
@@m4nuiwnl459 Snapdragon 7+ gen 3 is as fast as a 8 gen 2 processor and provides almost or actually gives the same performance as 8 gen 3s
Cant wait for f6 to come. X6 pro itself is already huge leap
F6 is very similar performance like nearly identical, it's the f6 pro that's a bit better with it's snapdragon 8gen2
@@talion7268 True, but in terms of cooling and camera, the f6 is a bit better than x6 pro. Overall, for the price to performance valu, it's the x6 pro for me.
Never really considered Chinese phone but how would one of these compare to a Pixel 6?
warzone is not fully optimized for android yet ,they still working on it
Yep, will keep on testing it in the future 😁
Does it heat up quickly?if so what's the peak temp?
If you can watch the video I’ve gone through that already 😁
hey guys, quick question, is this phone rootable ? if yes can you suggest a good guide to do it ?
Bro POCO is GOD for rooting... (Xiaomi device) 🗿
bluetooth audio is worst. about 50% only at max volume. how resolve this issue?
Not sure if I could help, but can you maybe increase the volume of the bluetooth buds themselves?
X6 Pro is the actual X3 Pro upgrade (I also have X4 GT as current main).
Waiting for Poco F6 pro. But based on stats given by its china counterpart, Redmi Turbo 3...the x6 Pro might actually come out on top this time around.
Not only that, it's far more balanced as a phone too.
The inbuilt ada are annoying no way to remove them directly into the launcher and if you change your launcher no gesture control supported for third party launcher
Bro you will turn it off in the phone settings, not in the launcher
can u review the new poco f6
Hello! I wanted to buy a gaming phone and currently want to buy either poco F5, poco F5 pro, or Poco x6 pro. Currently poco f5 is $77 cheaper in my place and poco x6 pro and poco f5 pro have similar price. Do you think the $77 price increase is worth it and which phone is better? Thank you!
Go for f5 is a good soc phone
Maybe just wait a few weeks (months?) for the Poco F6, being a Redmi Turbo 3 rebrand; it has really nice proccesor inside (Snapdragon 8s gen 3) and overall pretty good specs, but (more than likely) wont be as cheap as the Turbo 3 which is sold for around $300 for the 12gb ram/256gb rom base version.
Wait Redmi turbo 3/Poco F6
I agree with nosardines, I would expect the new POCO F6 to be sold around 500USD although it is for sure a good deal considering 8s Gen 3 is still a very powerful chip
Although if you wanna stick to your budget, it's actually quite neck and neck in terms of performance, but I do think the F5 Pro still has the edge here, or if you like the design of F5 it's still a bit faster as well
@@namedkennif you like Snapdragon chipsets and want to do emulation go for Poco F5 if you want a cheap and balanced phone that can play pretty much every game on PlayStore go for Poco x6 pro but mediatek isn't that good for emulating
Hello Kenneth Great Review,
Should i buy Poco F6 or Poco X6 Pro ? What do you recommend ?
That’s a great question, I’ll try to address that in my F6 review so stay tuned!
ok but how about the F6 pro?
Nice to see an enthusiastic treatment of the phone that I just had to order.
Hope you'll enjoy it!
Ordering it today. Cant wait. I got the yellow back looks sick!
@@FearTheOldB Going yellow too. Hoping it won't make me too much of a target, in certain places.
On geekbench 6 mine scored 1376 single and 4122 multi-core. Even on official sites it manages to score even higher than that. I don't know how yours managed to score that little
It varies because of what current condition your device is on. Those numbers you saw are probably with the phones operating the best possible performance in a proper setting (something like an air conditioned room). My own Tablet managed to even surpass what numbers show up online one time and then come up lower another time because I tested it on a whim directly after gaming on it (it was already heating up at that point)
It's true It varies, but not that much. I've tested it multiple times and it always shows over 1300 single-core. The dymensity 8300 actually measures nearly 1500 on single core and 4700 on multi. This is not a small difference you can ignore
Do these phones work with U.S. Carriers?
Yes!
Yes!
What about the 230 usd realme?
I own the Note 10 Pro, an awesome phone, but i think of upgrading because the 732G is showing its age. 1800 nits is also very useful!
Is the 8/256 is the same good as 12/512? Because my budget can only be maximum at 8/256 (I'm sorry for the grammar English isn't my main language)
basically, yes
Can you test in Wii emulator Pokemon game please
Bro how about the Nubia neo 2 5g
Can U add Call of Duty Mobile and Asphalt 9 to the Games to be tested . Really appreciate. Doesn't necessarily need to be this phone, for future reviews I mean :-)
Waiting for poco x7 pro and f7 pro (prob the k70 pro)
Are u malaysian or indonesian?
Actually i dont really see him agents sn8+ gen3
In turbo 3 😅
As a gamer Between poco f5 and x6 pro which should i go for
This is the tricky question as both are equally good, I think it comes down to which phone design you like better, but generally I still lean towards the F5
How about the heating issue of this phone??
What heatinf issue? He literally shower temperatures in video. And those are on absolute max settings that you shouldnt run anyway. On normal settings (like mid to high 60 fps) phone runs great according to many people. Unless you live in a hot area then youre always gonna have heating issue sorry.
I haven't even seen the first 20 seconds of the video because I know how good that phone is, in fact I am using the exact same phone to type this in, I waited for YEAR to find the best bang for the buck phone and I was about to get iqoo (which was a good option). Thankfully, I waited and got POCO X6 Pro (512/12) Racing grey. It is just too good for the price.
Why does the case smell so weird ?
this is the true successor of Poco X3 Pro
Is the touch sampling good tho?
It's 2160Hz, and according to other reviewers it's very responsive.
@razmann4k thanks man
Does this phone support Aptx Adaptive Bluetooth codec?
This X6 Pro uses Dimensity chipset, if im not mistaken, i think Aptx only supported in Qualcomm made chipset (Snapdragon)
Only supports up to aptX HD
No it doesn, thanks everyone for helping me reply
I'm currently using a new Xiaomi Redmi note 13 pro 5G. It was a rushed purchase. I'm considering to change to a Poco X6 Pro because of the double performance. I will lose eSIM and get a bit lower quality cameras and no jack but this phone is literally better in everything than my redmi Note 13 Pro 5G.
Im going to wait for the X7 pro hehe..

Hi KT, can you give me a tip on how to make my poco x6 pro battery strong?
Been using this phone for about 2 months. Absolutely amazing for its price.
2 features that are compromised for its price:
1) cameras are mid but i use a small mirrorless camera for taking pictures so i dont mind
2) GPS is wonky. Honestly it got me lost multiple times because it is really inaccurate sometimes.
Other than that... Absolutely amazing phone for its price. Screen, performance and features i dont miss my previous phone S21+ one bit.
Would you say that's the Screen on the Poco is better then S21+?
@@jayjaytv2563 it's on par. Both are very good. Poco's has a better resolution but i can't see a noticeable difference. Both of them can get really bright under direct sunlight

should i switch from the Poco F5?
Keep it , a snapdragon phone performance lasts for years
I really wanna buy this but the motherboard issue scares me😭, 3/4 of my friends who use poco lose their phone due to the heating and mb issue
My experience with using POCO phones for 4+ years at this point, and a heck ton of my friends use it as well, I haven't heard of any mobo problem at all, in fact none had any kind of problems at all, and we all play games on daily basis haha
I advice you don't, I lost my poco too
I'm using POCO X6 pro right now didn't saw any problem till date there's a time I updated and battery drained faster and I was like it's okey not a big deal I'll charge.. and after a month I was suffering on phone settings and I saw my device was on 120hz RF 🤡 I'm such a fool for almost a month my phone was running on 120hz and I was like why it's drains soo fast... (I have used POCO X2) Both phones satisfied my needs as I used to play GENSHIN, PUBG and various games in POCO X2 with mid/low settings but it still does better performance than some Realme devices after 3 years of POCO X2 the phone fell off my hand and got into water 🥹 still I love POCO
