This is a 'peculiar' FAV of mine for many years...some years ago my son took to me to live playing of this work at my former high school....I tell you 'The Truth'...I wept many tears over this ..offering, infecting my very soul.....JN
I will always have a fond memory on this piece because this is the first piece I played in my uni orchestra :) It's a bit unexciting on the clarinet part except maybe that tongued scale at 1:30, but it's the memories that's the best thing about it :)

Liking this performance of it. Good old Christopher hogwood. Best classical era conductor of the lot I think..
They said JEG and Norrington did better Mozart back in the day. I never could agree!
One of the best symphonic first movements ever written.
My favorite recording. Delightfully exuberant.
Since I started this "Mozart by numbers" adventure this is the first Mozart work i really enjoyed, I think my ear is getting trained :)
An energetic piece with a slow movement that melts the heart.
I really believe Mozart is the most gifted musician of all times.
