@Luke Stamper Wow. I knew about Connie's cancer, but I had no idea that they all went through hard times. Wasn't Dean the one who suffered several strokes? I remember Karlye mention her father's health issues a while ago.

I heard the Hoppers sing this song several times. Tonight as they were singing about our brand new wedding garments and us celebrating the marriage of the Lamb, I thought to myself, "Yea, I really AM going to be wearing a wedding dress when I eat at the marriage table.
Ya know how you take the usher by the arm as he escorts you into the wedding? (At the appropriate times in the song) I pictured myself in heaven, standing there facing this huge banqueting table with my white wedding gown on, and I pictured myself taking Jesus' arm, Him looking at me and smiling, and then escorting me over to the supper table.
I love the way that Dean looks over at this Dad after he sings " of the One who's worthy. " SO SWEET

Ivan Parker and I wrote The Marriage Of The Lamb on our 25th anniversary in 1997.
This is currently my favorite song by the Hoppers. It just has it all. Great message, very good melody and the arrangement is awesome. And, in the background I love watching Becky Isaacs rocking it up with Jessy Dixon. It looks like they all have a great time at the Homecoming events...and why not as Bill often says!

The Hoppers also sang The Marriage Supper of the Lamb at the Canadian Homecoming concert in October of 2009. I like that performance a bit better. It was geared for a Canadian audience.
