- In this video I am installing Vland Headlights (Or Rebranded as OLM from subispeed). I wanted a more aggressive look on the front end of the car and these definitely did the trick!

They look a lot better than the stock pictures I've seen on the web! Think I'm ordering the s209 kit this weekend after seeing you do the whole process! Would love to collab with you one day, I do a lot of cinematic videos for car edits.
Yeah I didn't really care for them in the stock pictures, then I saw a few guys on Instagram with them on the car and all sorts of angles and lighting and I really liked them after seeing that. They look much better in person too. And for sure!!
I was gonna get these but would you be able to do a beam pattern test as well as a lux test? It would be greatly appreciated!
🔥 I installed the same headlights awhile back. Love them. I appreciate your video because I was trying to figure out how to take off the high beams on the drl's. Other issue I had with mine was the same on the driver's side with fitment except it looks like it flickers sometimes when on during the day
I'm hoping these don't fail on me. I bought a set of subispeed headlights years ago on my 15 wrx and the one side the running lights wete visibly brighter than the other side and I got moisture in the brighter side. Hoping these hold up better!
Did you adjust the height on them at all?
@@mysubaruwrx I adjusted the lights a little bit higher and got the cutoff line more even.
Don’t know if anyone could help me out but I’m having an issue getting my high beams off the DRL’s. I have a 2019 wrx premium and it doesn’t seem to have that silver box under my headlight
@@Super_Saiyan_Sal that's strange. As far as I know all the 15+ base and premiums have it. I'm not sure about the limited models with the oem led headlights. I have a premium 2020 and the box was on the frame under the passenger side Headlight.
I LOVE these lights...are the problems you had common or were you just kinda unfortunate with fit and finish. You were genius to repair the problems by the way.
I haven't heard of anyone else having the issues, so must've been bad luck, but I will say a year with these lights and never had an issue!

Just installed these and they are decent I hate that the leds on the c light are separated makes it look cheap during the day but at night they look cool when you run the c light by itself
That was how I felt too. But the new subispeed v2 headlights are the same way. I guess people like that style.. but I prefer it looking continuous.
@@StreetInspired1 yea I saw that i already bought these and I don’t want to waste another 1200$ for some headlights maybe I’ll just retro fit some c lights on the OEM Lights
@@BCHbull that’s what I’m thinking. Stick with the OEM, paint them black, do a C-light and change whatever is halogen to LED
I notice you’ve got a 2018+ bumper. Do you know if these headlights work with a 2015-2017?
Nice looking lights and they do make the front end better. Curious about which exhaust hangers you bought to pull the exhaust up to fill in the bumper gap better? I am running stock cat back and want it to be pulled up some more if possible. Any info to get me in the right direction would be appreciated, thanks.

@@AnthonyFaraone-oi3vt this is a super old video before I had the 22. I sold the car. Paid off some debt and got another VA. Might get another VB eventually but it will be a little while.

I have connected everything as it should be but my Daytime Running Light does not stay on by itself in the mornings and is accompanied by the Maid Beam LED light when I release the parking brake and start driving my car. Is that normal?

Just how bright are these lights? I'm hearing they're reflectors as opposed to projectors and projectors being better for light production. I do a lot of night time driving in pure darkness on highways. Considering these if I can find a discount code to work. Also, how long do you think these LEDS will work for considering you can't change out the bulbs?
The light output is impressive. The low beams are very bright and have a wide spread so you can see into fields on the side of the road and everything. I'm not sure how long they will last but hopefully a long time.
How are these light holding up after the years?
Are you gonna sell your own headlights?? Also you need to definitely warranty check these headlights because they are cracked bro
I’ve been going back and forth between these or the new Spyder Apex headlights... I went with the Spyders.... but I’ve been second guessing myself and now seeing them on yours..... they look good😫

@@Crahb I ordered through RallySportDirect.com may 27th. I was told a 8day back order….. I’m still waiting and was notified earlier this week I probably won’t get them until late July… I’m not too happy. But I will say this is my first complication with them and it’s not their fault, it’s Spyder saying they have “restrictions” on shipping to my state.

I actually got the spyder set ordered on ebay, pay for it and than then 2 day later got an email from the seller that it was damaged on inspection and they're gonna give me a refund. I wasn't happy about it but than I end up buying the Vland/Molded Innovations Odyssey Series. I'm happy with those

These were on sale for memorial day 10% off so they came to $584 I think. One of the cheaper options for headlights out there! I think theyre still on sale on subispeeds website if you get there before the sale ends

@@StreetInspired1 Yes, I have just watched it. I guess to be specific, when I mention a full look around, what I mean is... if you've ever played a Need For Speed game and you've just chosen a vehicle, normally if you hold the camera stick to either right or left, it will give you a full view of the vehicle non-stop. Yes, I also noticed a few different details, like the rims for instance that are different. I have a WRX as well, completely stock though.
The drl lights went out after a year of owning them, not all of them just like 2 of them. So the c doesn't connect all the way.
I bought the v2 now but after reading everything I'm kind of scared to put them in. Thinking they will fail after the warranty ends. Plus there was condescension in them.
They're just cheap.

Hey, thanks for the video. I have my vland headlights coming tmr, but since it has sequential turn signal built in, I wanna disable the stock turn signal. I already plasti dipped the stock turn signal so it’s clean black with the bezel. Is it possible to disable the stock turn signal when installing the new vland headlights? I have not took the bumper off yet so I’m not sure yet and I wanted to prepare..thank you in advance!
Yeah you can definitely disable them by just unplugging them. However you will probably get hyperflash. But I got this cheap Module and it works great!ua-cam.com/video/Jo1K8m7XRCk/v-deo.html

Where did you get your front bumper and wide body kit???
The front bumper is factory, the body kit is the s209 flare kit.
Hey i have an issue with mine my left turn signal drl works but my c light isn’t i checked my wiring is there anything i can do ,,hope you can help
If you double checked and the wiring looks okay and you tested it you may have gotten a faulty light, If it's not working I would contact the place you got them and see about getting it replaced.

Very confused, I have a 2016 base and I’m looking to buy these. I see a lot of issues with running the DRLs in the daytime without the high beams. What do I have to buy/ do to use the c-lights by themselves as DRLs? Thank you

It uses an add-a-fuse that taps into the fusebox. It comes with the wiring for that option and shows which fuse to tap in the instructions

I had 6 Hella horns and 1 stock Horn but now I'm down to 2 because I took them out for my front mount 😂

I would partially agree. I think the modified factory headlights looked good. I like them both about the same however I like the more aggressive look of these.
