Wow, 30 days has gone fast. Just hit the one-month mark without weed for the first time in 15 long years. In this video I'll share how I'm feeling, what I've experienced plus some weird stuff that's happened.
On this channel, I'm going to document my journey so that I can hopefully hold myself accountable, share what's working and what isn't, share my progress and also hopefully help some of you guys do the same, too!
Let's do this together 💪

Good to hear man!! How is it going 2 weeks in?!? 🙏🏻
Me too twin 🙏🤞
Hope you're still doing well. I'm on week 2 myself! The boredom is what kills me but at least now I have more energy to keep myself busy! Best of luck!
Just over 35years smoking cannabis for me and 2 weeks in not smoking it, your journey is definitely helping mine 👍 Thank you brother ✌🏼
Man good to hear!! Thanks so much for reaching out brother appreciate the love.. keep it up man! 💯🙏🏻👊🏻
Yo bro you still not smoking?
Still not smoking! Man I’ve lost track now how long it’s been!
@@Up_in_Smoke wow good work. I just made 2 months. I still miss it
@@Up_in_Smokeplease post another video
30 days clean tomorrow. Thanks for the video!. Withdrawals are real and not easy to deal with. I'm not going back ever 💯🙏👍🏻
Man 30 days is a serious achievement! Keep it up Gary! I hope your doing well and still off the weed, apologies for the late reply!! 👍🏻
We got this!
My dude! I'm on day 8 of no smoke and Day 6 of no THC. I feel fantastic! I don't miss it at all!
Good man!! Keep it up, you’ll jus start to feel better and better each day ! 💯
I quit.. today 450 days out of weed!! Great talk bro!! Keep it up
Nice!! Good going man, thanks for watching 👍🏻
Niiice! Enjoy that freedom.
Your not lying lol I’d smoke on the way to work and on the way home and on lunch break I literally had to quit. No motivation and lazy. I’m 15 days in now starting to feel a little better each day.
It’s true man! Takes over your life haha… how you getting on?! 🙏🏻
Congratulations! I am embarrassed to say i smoked weed for 50 years…smoked it like it was going out of style. This will be the first Sturgis Motorcycle Rally I’ve been to straight, and first birthday straight since I was 15. I turn 65 in a couple weeks. I’m stoked.
You should be stoked!! Happy to hear that your doing well brother 💯
I started smoking weed when I was very young and it’s starting to be hard to see my life as normal without it now that i’m trying to quit. i’m staying strong and trusting the benefits will show up
The benefits will become apparent! You just have to keep going, keep weed out of your mind best you can and before you know it it’ll have been months and years and you won’t even care about it anymore! Hope your doing well! 🙏🏻
Should be proud of yourself, I don’t even smoke it but wanted to watch and say keep it up bro! 👊🏻
Yes G, just hit 3 weeks myself !
Yee buddy!! Good man! Cya next week chris 👊🏻
@@Up_in_Smokegood man, see ya Thursday. Keep up the good work 👊🏻
One thing Iv noticed since I stopped smoking is that my appetite has gone through the roof!! For some reason I just can’t stop eating ass.
@@thomascharnley1524 same!😂😝

Awesome to hear your story man - thanks for taking the time to share. The return of smell and taste is wild!
Nice one man! Crazy ain’t it how much changes when you stop!
Well done olly I have been enjoying your videos as I am in same position and feel I can relate to you I'm starting my journey today after recently taking my kids away on first holiday abroad and not using for the week made me realise I'm stronger then I think if I could do 1 week I can do more it's taken me years to come to terms with it and use any excuse I miss being myself thanks for the motivation
23 days love bro keep pushing 🫶🏼
Super helpful. Awesome to hear!
Thanks! Hope your well!
I quit taking edibles and I quit smoking flower at the end of July of this year… I feel a lot better! I used to be so exhausted all the time now I feel a lot better! I go on walks every morning with my dog and I have more energy and motivation to get things done 💪 also, a breakup helped me quit too! I feel a lot better :-)
That's tough. Peace.
Keep it going olly!
Nice one Ethan!!
Im 25 - will be sober for almost a year starting in September.
Throughout this tumultuous experience ; catastrophizing about whats to come towards the future.
Begging God , " please heal me , i hope im not passed a point of no return ! " . These uncertainties are rooted within a deep abyss .
foggy with no end in sight.
Broken with no recollection of the past .
Memories blurred - muffled .
Faulty Cognition in need of maintenance.
I wonder still to myself, " is it too late to become a doctor? An engineer? A nurse practitioner? ".
Am i doomed from the years of self-sabatoge and neglect? Is there a rise from the ashes in hopes to achieving the unattainable?
What do i do ? How do i do it ? Is my mind have the capacity? Or am i stuck - a child at 25 ?
I have been ranting , raging , crying , grieving, bashing , looping , despairing, desperate for an answer to just know if i can do the - "unattainable" , still ?
My dad was the same and doing worse drugs ; became an electrical engineer , software engineer and made about 240,000$ annually today's economy ... he always tells me , 'if i did it - you can do it .' .
There are several variables as to why he was able to , 'do it'- though.
Great video! Thank you!
Thanks! Appreciate the comment 👍🏻
I never knew it is addictive. Good on you.
It really depends on the person. Not everyone gets addicted. Most people with an addictive personality are the ones who get addicted to it. They get to the point where they depend on it so much they need it to get through their day.
Cannabis on its own - not physically addictive but can be mentally addictive
Cannabis mixed with tobacco - physically and mentally addictive and makes your buds taste like shit
If you can’t maintain a healthy balance between work and smoking then just quit. I got to a point where it was just a force of habit, I didn’t even feel like smoking I just did because it was the norm. You’ll see the light when you quit. Stay strong and find a new hobby to help distract you💯
Definitely agree with you!
I’ve been in that position before, just smoking for the sake of it, out of habit and ritual I guess you could say! Life is much better weed free especially whilst building a foundation towards a better life it helps to not smoke and focus on your goals and yourself, sober! Thanks for the comment Jake! 👍🏻
Do your reaserch. Cannabis Is chemially physically addictive too since It downregulates the endocanabinoid system, It becomes hacked. @@Up_in_Smoke
25 days and im still waiting for the benifits. Wish i felt like a new person. I feel worse now than i did then 😢 im proud of myself though 🎉 🎉
Keep going! 25 days is a lot! But also early days, but dont be discouraged by this, you WILL feel better in time. Hope your still going strong!!
Smoke on the weekends. Do a lot of cardio. 2 crucial steps to being a successful weed smoker.
Well done Olly 👍
Keep up the great work bro!
Thanks man appreciate that!! 💯
I my self am also 25 days weed free best feeling ever never going back god willing may god make us all strong 💪 to keep away with this devilish drug that holds u back in life and turns u in to a loser
Good to hear man! You got this jus keep going and it’ll be a distant memory soon enough! Cheers for dropping a comment!
I’m quitting
How are you doing Kevin?? 🙏🏻👍🏻
well done mate
Thanks man! 👍🏻
Always supporting bro 💙
Respect ibby!!
Flying g! Keep going🎉
nice bro, im trying to stop , im stoppping and getting back on it on last 2 years , i've been smoking for 10 years everyday , working from home , it made me a zombie , this year i will stop for long months to see how i feel , i did 60 days sober laast years, was good, but im back again uahuiahaiuhauia
Jus keep trying man! Don’t stress about giving in now and then it ain’t easy to stop! You will feel better in the long run, maybe not a month or maybe not for 3! But trust me something will just click and your done with it! Let me know how you get on!
I put this group together to try build a community also mate, might help you out to hear other peoples perspectives and outlooks on the whole situation! Check it out if you like brother!

I'm quitting today . I feel horrible after smoking now a days . It's just so hard to put down even when it make you feel like crap .
Good job man
Day 7 no weed, feel great, don’t miss it
Apologies for the late reply! Thanks for commenting, how are you getting on??? 🙏🏻👍🏻
Keep at it 👍🏻
After years of over smoking the past two days with out it my dreams are better than the playboy mansion 😊 motivational
Hahah the dreams really are crazy at first! Keep going you won’t regret how good you end up feeling and how much more cash you’ll have saved up!!
I’m on day 27 and feel terrible ngl. I don’t feel like I want to smoke anymore but I don’t feel good either
What symptoms do you have? Do you have tightness in chest and high blood pressure / heart rate? Insomnia? Waking up in sweat?? You commented 2 weeks ago so please tell me if you feel better yet.
You’ll get through it man, I felt the same, I felt like shit at times but you have to give it time for your body to readjust and you will slowly but surely feel better and proud that you’ve done one more week/month and eventually year!! Then it’s a distant memory! … how are you getting on?!?
@@Up_in_Smoke I don’t feel as bad anymore. I’m just more bored and anxious but I don’t feel in pain anymore and I’m not waking up in sweat every night.
@@Up_in_Smoke my heart rate is back to normal too and my BP isn’t high
Your body will correct itself man, just keep going, you don’t need weed and soon enough you won’t even think about it! You can crack on and save money and begin to have a better quality of life!
im 15 and i cant stop bro shits too good
you better slow down on the usage before you develop chs
35 years smoking....now sober....shit ain't good.....I wasted my life.
It’s not the greatest decision that we all made to start smoking in the first place, but a time will come for everyone when they ARE READY to stop smoking.. took me years, nobody could tell me nothing! You get sick of it eventually…
couldnt have said it better brother@@Up_in_Smoke
aha i used to say this shit im 32 year old loser no 9 days off the shit £400 a month in my pocket watch this shit!
I am just stopping for a month or so because maybe I can get high again it doesn’t seem to do anything anymore so maybe a break will help me out and then after I will just smoke a joint once in a while
Yes mate 😎
Thanks Tom 💯
Did you smoke daily before you quit? I’m in the 30’day mark being sober and having daily headaches… anyone else experience that ?
I smoked every single day, only after work though! I never really experienced headaches but everyone will experience different things when quitting so don’t stress!
Keep it up man you’ve done a month now! Don’t even think to go back to smoking jus leave it behind and keep it moving!!
When did the dreams slow down? How many months? Please help
Hard to say! I’m still having quite detailed crazy dreams on and off now and it’s way over a year since I stopped smoking!
My god, it's not that hard to "quit". It's literally 3 days of fairly intense craving, then it's just a matter of letting your brain get used to sleeping again.
It's not like heroin or nicotine is for some people.
Dude i made it 1 month and 20 days my heart its like bom bom bom but not at first 2 weeks i am very struglled
Good effort man!! Keep it up Besnik your doing well brother 💯💯
2 month free of weed just grow a pair of balls and be the most successful because high paying jobs require to be drug free and reflect on why you smoke so much I’ve had the issues smoked 5 years I’ve becoming who I was before 😅it takes time but push through your body is strong quit saying you can’t stop smoking you can if you want that’s how most addictions stop and live onto better lives like I have whole experiences
I’m clean for a month now as well. Old memories are coming back and I’m also getting up bright and early. My only immediate regret was I just bought replacement balloons for my volcano so that’s $45 down the drain 🥲
Good to hear man!! Hope your doing well with it, how you getting on?! 👍🏻
