So emotional dance full of spirit of china so sublime it inspires peace, calm, harmony with nature and human being and the way she moves her arms like wings she transforms herself in a real peacock quite beautiful.

Gasp! Just learned that she is closing in on 50! What incredible discipline it must have taken to keep such a long dance career.

she was one of the teachers/performers in my sis' former Chinese dance academy. i didn't know that she was that famous until now. i saw her live at one of our banquets. i wonder if she's still here now.

Yes. She has so many versions of this dance. This one is not exactly "old". It was new until a year or two ago. There was an even older version before this one.

... Erh.... I never said she's Dai. The dance is a modern form of Dai dance, but everyone knows that she's Bai.

Ignorance is worse than sin,Sipsongbanna have been recorded in Laos history.Dont try to twist our history, the name Dai have been given by Chinese,we call ourselve Tai,beside the Tai migrated from Altai mountain of Mongolia ,that's how the name Tai come from.
