Sopranos started 1999 and this predated the sopranos by at least a few years. this was created for the film brassed off around 1996 as an original score and this version was developed and performed by the Grimethorpe colliery brass band and the soloist was Paul Hughes developed from the original score en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concierto_de_Aranjuez composed originally composition given the fact that the creator was blind from the age of three whatever the case just enjoy, it makes me cry every time
Q: What are those popish drums doing? A: Some kind of obnoxious noise! Q: Why can't we listen to this this wonderful piece of music so beautifully performed by brass instruments, especially the flugelhorn, in peace? A: Because of the drums!
Is that really a "flugelhorn" sound? To me it seems more like an old vintage cornet. I do not say anything about the quality of the playing but about the sound. That's my opinion, I know.
not quite as crisp as the original band but the soloist is excellent ,but then to be fair the original soundtrack band has won more than a few band of the year awards at the albert hall
The Staffordshire band is no match for the band that plays the Grimethorpe band in the movie Brassed Off. The Flugel Horn player in the Staffordshire band needs work. Sorry Craig, I'll confess, however, you play better than me.
long live the brass memories of industrial sabotage brass one thatcher nil
One of my favorites,!!
Excellent!
Gorgeous. Right to the heart.
Very nice work from all involved.
Lo que recuerda mi niñez me envuelve la tristeza siempre lo escucho extraordinario
So emotional.
Love it
Fantastic performance, the Flugel solo was as good as the original film imho. Pity the lad in the front row couldn't manage without chewing gum.
I think it helps with saliva production...
Fantastic from the sopranos.

Very mellow tone from the fleugel horn, not easy to control and achieve.

It's nonsense to use drum beat..

Sorry but I actually hate this. Solo is brilliant, brass is fantastic, but the drums ruin it.
They aremt that bad, it certainly isnt great but it hardly ruins the song.
No !! The use of the snare drum does not ruin it.
Needs new drummer and soloist. Doesn't even sound like a pfugel horn. Brass band was good.
