The problem is that the new chords such a G7, Fm9, E7 etc are not displayed on the chord chart. For non guitar players it feels like it goes from being a well paced tutorial to skirting over how to form these trickier chords too fast. I’d prefer it if you were telling us exactly which finger is going on which fret separately, otherwise it gets lost. Thanks!

Not trying to sound negative, and I do appreciate your time and effort to make these videos and not charge for them, but I must say it's rather frustrating that in both this video and the last video there are multiple times when the chord diagram on screen doesn't match the chord you are playing. Still been a very helpful series for me so far. I'm a lifelong guitar player so it's coming pretty easily but I am still learning a lot from you.
Well I have stuck with it! A month now I try to do a few minutes every day, I go over a lesson as many times as necessary until I crack the Chord transitions!! %8 years of age and Loving it Thanks vinnie.
Oh boy, this is probably the toughest lesson yet. Especially since we could only really learn the chords by trying to vopy your fingers. Hopefully tomorrow we'll go over it a bit more in-depth
Andy you really are an amazing teacher! I am really enjoying playing the ukulele and I think you are a big part of why I am able to enjoy it. Thanks for these awesome lessons!!!!!
I have made my peace with F Minor. Using fingers Andy is using at 7:22 and not shown in graphic is so much better for me. Instead of graphic, swap 1 and 2 and then change 3 for 4 and you brain and fingers might become friends again. .
You are a Star! I'm surviving U.K. 'Lockdown 2' by using this and my new uke,and the diagram was driving me nuts! I really enjoy the Teaching Style of these lessons but the attention to detail gets a bit fuzzy at times.Thing is this is the first time after many tries (Harmonica,Guitar) that I'm actually 'getting it' my 'noise' is starting to sound like 'Music' and I hate putting the Uke down!So theres no way I'm not sticking with this ( besides I'm starting to enjoy the Singing)!
Guys, remember that you only need to play E with 3 fingers, not four Yes, the 4 fingered Em chord is real, it’s just that it barely compares to the 3 fingered, which is much easier to play Edit: In other words, play the chord without the pinky
For who's having issues (like me) with the eM chord: you could either try: 1x02 (you can mute the C string by slightly touching it with your middle finger) or 4442 (doing a barret on the second row with your index and a second barret on the fourth row with your pinky). Having big hands, had to google for alternate positions
hahaha, I tried using capo in the first fret and now I could do the f minor just fine... Although I'm still a beginner so hopefully I can learn f minor without using the capo
I love your lessons! As many others point out it might take more than 6 days to get to this level 😊 If you had called it lesson 6 in stead of day 6 the expectations would have been set correctly. 😅 I am trying to move on far too fast. And getting to the point when I don’t feel I am able to follow the pace of the course anymore is frustrating 😅 But I am not going to give up! Thanks a lot for taking the time to teach ukulele like this!!
My fingers are physically too short to so the new E but this lesson was pretty fun! I loved learning all the new chords at an excellerated pace. I would recommend changing the G major to G7 on the graphics while playing.
it may be useful to have all the chords displayed rather than those currently being played. I appreciate this tutorial is now 2 years old, but i am finding it great as a starter to my ukulele playing. Week 6 is a tough one, hence request for all the chords being visible or a downloadable crib sheet to go with each lesson maybe?
For g7 I do this for guitar too with D and dm, I use my ring finger and middle finger as like the 2 middle and if I ever need to switch between G and g7 I just lift my pinky and put my pointer finger down on the first fret and usually I just keep it there anyways. I hope this helps if you read it!!
These are all hard but you get em down if you keep going.. Eventually it just hits. I also modified my finger placements and angles for the F Minor and E Major because my fingers are too fat or something combined with my Uke frets are a little smaller.. I have no idea but anyway, the point is modify to fit your style and it makes things a lot easier after you drill down that muscle memory
Rad as always but dying to tease hakuna out a little more. The Oasis song too. Maybe each song could have its own video. My second time through Andy's awesome course.
I’ve been really enjoying these lessons but this one just wasn’t great. Everything went so fast. I didn’t learn any new chords because before I even got my hand in position you had already moved on. I didn’t learn the song either because the lesson was moving so fast. All I got was confused and rushed.
I'd really enjoyed this series so far, but this lesson was rough. It would be helpful if you could introduce new chords before we're expected to play along, and if the diagrams were the same as what you're playing (g vs g7, for example).
Great series of Uke lessons but as of today’s date, the chord reference charts you added to the video are not the right ones. It’s a bit confusing when you go over the G7 chord and the chart is for G major. It’s happens again with E7 and I think another chord. Anyways love your channel. Keep up the good work.
Great song! Do the chords transpose to open chords on the guitar with a capo on 5th fret? So with a capo at 5th standard open way of playing the F, C, D, G etc.
Andy, Aku is my first instrument and I am loving it, many thanks. Your such a nice teacher keep it up. I have been practicing, sequences come smoothly, rhythm is coming along well either, do you have any tips for those who can't play and sing at the same time? I just mess it up when trying to sing at the same time, so got to a point where it seems I am playing nothing.
ok. this is when i give up! E minor is already pretty confusing. But E chord and F chord are impossible! Andy; when you do E minor I do not see you put your third finger on the G string. Do you? Also confused with the inverted G, it seems the same as the previous videos. Cheers.

true !! i am having troubles! :'(
Exactly, i second this. this was a huge problem in this video and im glad others were speaking about it
YES! Well stated.
Yes, I was confused as well. I googled it and a G7 is this shape:

Yes good heavens
Could not agree more. I love this series, but that was definitely extremely frustrating.
Thought the same. Was confused by that E-minor thing in the last video. Turns out you can play both ways.
Still with it. I keep going back to lessons. 7 weeks in now and a whole New Year to improve!! Small steps all the way.
Yeees! You got this.
This was the most difficult and confusing lesson until now. :(
Because he didnt show the chords properly
The diagram for both E minor and G7 is written out differently from How you do them in the video
yup
Confusing!
i still laugh when remembering that i thought the g major was the hardest chord in the starter lessons.....how ironic
Well I have stuck with it! A month now I try to do a few minutes every day, I go over a lesson as many times as necessary until I crack the Chord transitions!! %8 years of age and Loving it Thanks vinnie.

Andy you really are an amazing teacher! I am really enjoying playing the ukulele and I think you are a big part of why I am able to enjoy it. Thanks for these awesome lessons!!!!!
when you're doing the G7 the diagram for the G major pops up
Hum.. they never fixed it either.
Im freaking lost
yeah umm
yeah like how do us Noobs know what it means to invert a chord, I had to google the tab for those other chords since his weren't accurate
@@vfxchick9 have u got it ?
I've Mastered Riptide thanks to you andy. Now my real challenge has begun...
same :)
I have made my peace with F Minor. Using fingers Andy is using at 7:22 and not shown in graphic is so much better for me. Instead of graphic, swap 1 and 2 and then change 3 for 4 and you brain and fingers might become friends again.
.
But also in this succession, if you swap as you say 1 with 2 and 3 with 4 on F Minor, Also swap 1 with 2 fro F major
You are a Star! I'm surviving U.K. 'Lockdown 2' by using this and my new uke,and the diagram was driving me nuts!

RIP pinky ... died so young
i lost my pinky trying to do the E chord wtf
My fingers cant do f minor😃
Guys, remember that you only need to play E with 3 fingers, not four
Yes, the 4 fingered Em chord is real, it’s just that it barely compares to the 3 fingered, which is much easier to play
Edit: In other words, play the chord without the pinky
Try E7 instead of E
Is it only me who jumped off. Like. This is hard man. I cant even switch fast from Am to G. Like. Bro

You are my guitar teacher who helped me a lot....THANK YOU ANDY THANKS A LOT....😘😘😘
Andy, you're the man. Another sick lesson but easily the most challenging one yet. Keeping the faith though and I'll be back tomorrow!
That F minor turned my hand to limp spaghetti. My fingers just DO NOT want to do that. Gotta still take it slow I think!
hahaha, I tried using capo in the first fret and now I could do the f minor just fine... Although I'm still a beginner so hopefully I can learn f minor without using the capo
Anyone who did this course in only 10 days? 😂 I finally reached day 6 after 20 days 😜
I did it in 6 days but I had emty of time that week. I have to hop back now and then to get the rhythm of a song again.
Month 8....?
Yaaaay! I've got it. And I am now able to play all the chords. It's all about having patience with yourself :)! Thanks Andy!

g chord: im the most hardest chord
g7 and eM: hold my strings
😂😂😂
I can't-😂
but g7 is g major but reversed
F Minor; am i a joke to you?
G7 was easy for me but eM oh god and F minor has weird shape too 😔
Learning a lot from this. Just had to rewatch it a bunch of time since the diagrams were off
For g7 I do this for guitar too with D and dm, I use my ring finger and middle finger as like the 2 middle and if I ever need to switch between G and g7 I just lift my pinky and put my pointer finger down on the first fret and usually I just keep it there anyways. I hope this helps if you read it!!
excellent idea
I've watched your videos over and over again they are sooo helpful I even stay up late just to watch them
Love this thank you helped me out in quarantine 🙏
Thank you for the super duper hard chords but I am loving it
6:12 c g a e major f g c a g
6:33
8:27
Woof! a couple hard ones there. This is increasingly fun! Well done!
I literally screamed so loud saying: Yaaaaay !!!
Today’s lesson is Hakuna Matata 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you for the f patterns it helps alot. You're an excellent teacher!
G: "I'm the hardest chord to play"
D: "No I am"
E: "Lol naw I am"
E Major: Get Out the way, hardest chord comin' through"
Now I can finally play the G Major properly! As well as all the other notes.
It was extremely difficult and cool, thank you!
Can you do a tutorial for Twenty One Pilots House of Gold or AJR Role Models?
nice lesson , good vibes makes it enjoyable
This is a great class ever ! Easy and fun to learn. Thank you so much ;)
this one is very confusing.
So hard!!!! OMG my finger hurts hahahaha!
I love your vidios they help me a lot. I practice every day 😀😀😀😀
But this is definitely the best ukelele curse of the world. Useful AF!!!
Thank you so much, your way of showing chords, make it very easy...i love the ukelele...never played it before but i manage it very well
Wow , I learn alot from Day 1 to 5 , but this time this chords bit hard for me ✌🏻🙏🏽
Need to strech my Fingers hahaha 🤣Lol
These are all hard but you get em down if you keep going.. Eventually it just hits. I got a major cramp with that E major
Great tutorial. Another new cord. 👍
What a roller coaster ride! 😂
Day 6 in!!!
🙌😎
Thanks again!

Ngl I’m having this same problem :(
ok, I need some time to get used to that new notes and transitions... I'll come back in a few days.. xp but it was great :)
thank you you helped me learn more
I punching in the air so hard when he said we were gonna practice the e minor chord 😭
Do "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana or "All Along the Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix!
Thank you! Love! Infitiny
I'd really enjoyed this series so far, but this lesson was rough. It would be helpful if you could introduce new chords before we're expected to play along, and if the diagrams were the same as what you're playing (g vs g7, for example).
F minor and E minor are impossible, I can't even reach my finger
E minor = possible f minor = maybe
Mine too !
Wow i have learned a lot these past days, thank you. Think i’ll have to do this ond a fem times before I move om😉
Me trying to strum along to the Audible commercial music
this is difficult, need to split into part 1 and 2 for this lesson. i am trying on first song still.
G major chord pops up when you're doing G7! please fix, thank you ^^ great videos!
Lesson 6 is like that 2nd day of AP class in high school where you find out you f'ed up
8:28 personal reference for practice.
Great series of Uke lessons but as of today’s date, the chord reference charts you added to the video are not the right ones. It’s a bit confusing when you go over the G7 chord and the chart is for G major. It’s happens again with E7 and I think another chord. Anyways love your channel. Keep up the good work.
Andy as always awesome love from nepal i use ur lessons to learn guitar and progressed a lot
Note that there are many ways to play an E chord. I like the way done here, but where you press down all 3 snares with finger 3.
This was so easy I love your videos and I know how to Play in the Kelela now thanks 🙏💖💞
Great song! Do the chords transpose to open chords on the guitar with a capo on 5th fret? So with a capo at 5th standard open way of playing the F, C, D, G etc.
nice begining
@ Andy Guitar Im waiting for the andy guitar app, can you give us a official release date? Thanks🇵🇭🎸👨🎤🤘🔥
Featured chords:
G7 E Fm Fm9 E7
(If you also need to look up the fingerings since they aren't in the popups)
im a guitar player too and im already used to switching chords quickly, but until i came here to this lesson... i felt like im a beginner again lol
Love your lessons mate, been very helpful ! Have u maybe got the complete look back in anger song chords sheet? Thanks ever so much !
My google search 10 mins later: how to grow fingers…
It is getting harder and harder each day
Thank you for adding Oasis to the playlist! Now, I just need to get the hang of this E major - lol
I am having a nightmare with E minor😖
I think my fingers are long enough, but I just can't wrap them to hit that E major chord. Do you have any suggestions?
Please make a tutorial “What a wonderful world”
Will do
Andy Guitar wow, thx))) for song tutorial and your reply ;)
You guys should look at The Ukulele App in The App Store
It also helped me
Andy, Aku is my first instrument and I am loving it, many thanks. Your such a nice teacher keep it up. ME TOO
Great video.😊😊😊
nearby the end you press chords different on what it shows on the screen....have a look Emayor
Honestly i can't do the swing, i didn't understand it
low-key reminds me of tom felton
ok. this is when i give up! E minor is already pretty confusing. But E chord and F chord are impossible! Andy; when you do E minor I do not see you put your third finger on the G string. Do you? Also confused with the inverted G, it seems the same as the previous videos. Cheers.

Thanks! But the link to the chords does not work :(
E major???!!! How?! So hard.
At 1.43 Andy says chord G7 however the diagram shows G Major
Your the best😀😀😀😀😀🤑🤑
my fingers cannot physically stretch that far
4:32 start of song
What is best size for beginner?? Is it the 21 or 23?😊
My hand got paralyzed when i tried G7 after practicing G major since so many days
