You are a genius! These ornaments are gorgeous! In addition to these ornaments, maybe you could hang some of the mini terra-cotta pots (extra small-there are so many sizes to choose from) already planted with succulents.so you wouldn’t have to replant them afterward. Pot up succulents in the mini terra-cotta pots, hot glue twine to the pot as a hangar or wrap some wire under the lip of the pot and shape it into a hangar.

I use a shot glass to water and I never give them too much water that way.I direct water to the plants in my fairy gardens that are in glass bowls with the shot glass too.I only have to water the succulents twice a month here in Connecticut. So many people tell me their succulents die and rot and that's because they are watering once a week or more with their other plants.
Such a great idea, love them! Could you asked Aaron to go really slow with the drone when you film you outside lights, I want to enjoy them as long as possible, he does such a wonderful job. 🥰🥰🥰.

You have space on yours property, if nowhere else, in upper part of barn you was cleaning few days ago, you should make there(or somewhere else) workshop/studio for your projects and filming videos like this. Great channel btw!

Could those be any cuter? I wish warm weather succulents would survive the low light in Paris. Do you think it would work with sempervivums? They do well on my balcony here, but they seem fussier about handling.
Velvet & Toads you could put a grow light next to your succulents. I‘m doing this in Southern Germany and it works just fine 😊

Can not wait to see the tree. I love making my own decorations. This is so exciting. I saw a video this year where someone took hydrangea flower heads and glued a bunch of snow and glitter on them to make frosted snowball looking ornaments. I liked how they turned out. You can also make snowflakes from birch sticks, and then frosted and glitter them. Making ornaments is so much fun.

Oh! Slightly off topic - keeping Russell in line - what about putting the Bonide Repels All in pretty decorated sachets or birdhouses if hollow - to keep him from tearing up everything?

QUESTION: Do you have a hot glue gun you recommend?? I did succulents on top of pumpkins for a Thanksgiving centerpiece using sphagnum moss and hot glue, just as you have done. They actually turned out great (much to my surprise) and still look good. But I have a really cheap hot glue gun. It was a pain to use and made a MESS. I'm looking to upgrade to a nicer one - perhaps even cordless. Thanks

Did you get the birch logs from your own birch trees
They have them at michaels craft store. They are only about 6 inches. The also sell discs. In the unfinished wood section. I was on the hunt for these couldn’t find the birdhouses and I really want them
Love these ornaments. I don’t have any succulents because I feel like I don’t know anything about how to care for them. I need to go back and look at some of your videos because I like the look of them.
Laura got me started on succulents. Now, I have a whole section of the one room of my house, that has a giant picture window, full of them! I still have a grow light that I supplement their light with. Our windows are double paned and are very, very tinted! I have them placed for the ones who like the filtered direct sun more and to one's that like it kind of spotted throughout the day. I've killed a few in the learning curve but not many and I'm already learning about propagation because many are making babies!
It's been very enjoyable! I sit at my work table and the time flies by!
If you decide to jump in, do watch her videos on succulents. She helped me to relax with them and have fun. Just don't over water! Man, that was my downfall, at first. I killed them with kindness! Haha!

Classic Garden Answer video. Before watching so many of your videos I didn't even like succulents. Thought they were weird and alien, haha. But somewhere along the way I grew to love them. Thanks for showing how beautiful they can be! The red edged kalanchoe you used is stunning!

They are so beautiful. When planting succulents does it need fertilizer and what kind? My husband bought me succulents this summer and I have not fertilize the succulents.
