There would have been no way I could have done all of them except June. I'd have had to rebuy it. Looking forward to the Big Stitch and I will certainly be paying Rachel a visit at Talking Dog Stitchery along with so many other vendors I doubt I will actually do any stitching. Love the Mill Hill but doesn't fit with my themes but I will always look to Rachel first for self gifting. Safe travels and happy stitching and you can always go to the quiet room if it gets a bit much xx

Yes in the car I can have too much light if sun shines right on me. The Artsy Housewife has a new Patreon chart, this month, that would look so good with Pretty Bird. And, then, we are all going to be in trouble when she releases her new charts at the end of August. Once I get past that, it’s hard to put down again. On the home stretch with Every Opening Flower then want to tackle Christmas Morning and try to finish by the fall. Have a great time at the retreat!

An apple a day ....😊 Sherrie on the A Burnhope Sampler there seems to be an extra space on the LHS key pattern about 3rd key in. I could be wrong but I thought you may need to look before you get stitched all the way back. I don't mean to be rude but it's not too far in if you need to frog. I think I'll stick to dusting with a damp wash leather like my mum did!😂 I'm so pleased that you found the June Quaker to make the set. Good progress on your WIPs.
Oh Sherrie , I think we have alot in common. You ask the question and I will answer you. Today i had to look twice fir the glass cleaner to do the tables as i nearly used Best Press startch. It would have been a stitcky mess but smell lovely as its lavender. I hope the Big Stitch next week is not overwhelming as I've only been to a day retreat. (I know that this is/can be seen as a simplistic way of looking at weather. Especially as there has been horrific events both in the natural world & humanity with massive sad tolls taken on both sides.) x

Well, after a few weeks, we realised she was using hairspray! Yesterday, for us in Northamptonshire it was 32 degrees, far, far too hot for me! Well my friend as usual I have a story to match yours too, I swear we are sisters from different misters, many years ago I used to work for a major supermarket and there was a reshuffle and I got put on home shopping which meant a 6am start, not I am most definitely not a morning person so that’s wasn’t good start , but anyway one morning while I was getting ready for work, still half asleep and bleary eyed I sprayed on deo or so I though , a couple of sprays on the old pits and an a quick squirt on the neather regions ( just in case) I am a lady of a certain age or as my friends say “menopausal “ only to discover a while later that it was extra extra firm hairspray 😮 Dog please.
Love the Pride and Prejudice pattern 🤩 The sampler border that reminds you of Greece reminds me of those blue and white Greek vases too. I haven’t tried them but I’ve been recommended Purdy and Fig as a nice smelling Polish. It’s probably a lot better than raid too😂

I havent picked it up for 2 weeks now - I dont know what is going on with me here, I was desperate to start it and now that I have I am struggling big time.!!! HOWEVER after watch ElizabethAnn can Stitch, she discussed MarkUp app, well I reckon Im going to load Bellatrix into that as I think my struggling is that I get lost at where Im at so will give this ago so fingers crossed!!!!! Hello Sherrie, I’m having a little panic. I’m also stitching Christmas Garden and have done a similar amount. You said you are using DMC and it’s only 4 colours,are you stitching with one thread? I’m stitching with 2 and so for 3 of the symbols am using 2 different colours joined together as it shows in the brackets. I’m now questioning myself as to whether I’m doing it right. 🤷🏼♀️ Oh also, I usually ‘keep my hand in’ but I don’t know if we say something different dependent on which part of the country we’re in. I could be wrong all round.😂

Oh Sherrie , I think we have alot in common. You ask the question and I will answer you. Today i had to look twice fir the glass cleaner to do the tables as i nearly used Best Press startch. It would have been a stitcky mess but smell lovely as its lavender. I hope the Big Stitch next week is not overwhelming as I've only been to a day retreat. Another great episode! Not ALL of the UK are enjoying the summer sun 😢😢. I am currently sitting watching the local dog owners walking in the rain with their poor drenched dogs!! I'm so fed up with the weather here in Glasgow, it has rained almost every day for months now.

(I know that this is/can be seen as a simplistic way of looking at weather. Especially as there has been horrific events both in the natural world & humanity with massive sad tolls taken on both sides.) x
You do make me laugh, first with the fly spray (maybe next time try an apple scent) then with June. The comment that cat took me 17 weeks had me giggling. It’s pay day next week I’ll go and give talking dog another visit.

I don’t think a fly would dare come near the place Sherri, it will interesting to see how long the dust stays away , you might have started something…..we will be running to the shops to buy fly spray 😂, Milo my dog always watches flosstube with me so he can bark at the cats and dogs on the telly, big goof.

Hope you enjoyed stitching outside, you certainly would not have been doing that here today in NI, it has rained all day, but I had a lovely visit from my grandson and his dog Milo, he doesn’t live too far away and it loves to call in when he is out walking Milo, I think it’s more to do with home baking than seeing his Nan, but I don’t care, loved watching ,
Nan’s home cooked food is always the best ☺️
Morning, my lovely, wonderful stitching as always. The story of you and the fly spray reminds me of me mam, who kept saying she didn't like the new deodorant. Well, after a few weeks, we realised she was using hairspray!
Yesterday, for us in Northamptonshire it was 32 degrees, far, far too hot for me!

Well my friend as usual I have a story to match yours too, I swear we are sisters from different misters, many years ago I used to work for a major supermarket and there was a reshuffle and I got put on home shopping which meant a 6am start, not I am most definitely not a morning person so that’s wasn’t good start , but anyway one morning while I was getting ready for work, still half asleep and bleary eyed I sprayed on deo or so I though , a couple of sprays on the old pits and an a quick squirt on the neather regions ( just in case) I am a lady of a certain age or as my friends say “menopausal “ only to discover a while later that it was extra extra firm hairspray 😮 Dog please.
Oh gosh I don’t even want to imagine the consequences 🤣

Loving your progress on all your stitching, Im struggling to continue with Bellatrix, I think I have bitten off more than I can chew here!!!! I havent picked it up for 2 weeks now - I dont know what is going on with me here, I was desperate to start it and now that I have I am struggling big time.!!! HOWEVER after watch ElizabethAnn can Stitch, she discussed MarkUp app, well I reckon Im going to load Bellatrix into that as I think my struggling is that I get lost at where Im at so will give this ago so fingers crossed!!!!! OMG I want the Sewing Girl club stuff!!!!!! Ive contacted them about it didnt even know they existed either!!!! Have a great retreat next week hugs lisa xx

Glad you finally found June, it so annoying when you search high and low, mind you I don’t think anyone would has suggested looking there, lol fly spray your a Geg (as we say over here ) Sherrie, I could go mad on the talking dog stitchery site, have you ever tried the cxc threads?, I tend to stick to DMC, the fancy floss are out of my price range.
I’ve not stitched with CXC but I know some girls swear by it. Maybe give it a go on a small and see how you find it ☺️

Hello Sherrie, I’m having a little panic. I’m also stitching Christmas Garden and have done a similar amount. You said you are using DMC and it’s only 4 colours,are you stitching with one thread?
I’m stitching with 2 and so for 3 of the symbols am using 2 different colours joined together as it shows in the brackets. I’m now questioning myself as to whether I’m doing it right. 🤷🏼♀️
Oh also, I usually ‘keep my hand in’ but I don’t know if we say something different dependent on which part of the country we’re in.
I could be wrong all round.😂

Hi! Omg big project fatigue! I am monogamous since February 1 on my full coverage, was hard going for a bit. I do different ones when in car. But just under 2 pages left of 28! Yes in the car I can have too much light if sun shines right on me.
