Yes, literally have them both on right now. What can also do is turn the AC on at high cool for 30 minutes and once the room turns cold, turn on the fan and turn off the AC, and keep the door and windows closed this should keep hopefully keep the room good for hours
I keep ceiling fan at lowest speed of 1. Room temp at 23.5 to 24 celcius Humidity around 40% I have a room clock which shows these readings. Electricity consumption when used for 3 to 4 hours work out to roughly 0.4 units an hour with a non inverter ac.
Because the more you set AC at higher temperatures the quicker it will go back to normal temp again after AC off. So decreasing the temp even more gives enough time to keep the room cool and also taking more time to reach again the normal temp
Last year i was in Delhi preparing fr exam. Summer temp @night touch 35°c. I neither used AC nor fan, I would just sleep on floor. this used to help me sleep less & get up before 1.15 AM & to start studying .. Best time of my life 🐥
Agree with this. I usually set my AC at 26C with Eco Mode on then supplement it with a solar rechargeable desk fan which helps circulate cool air from the AC, rendering less stress on the compressor. 😊
till now, i thought that people who were doing this were wasting electricity......its a concept of Forced Circulation..now i remember my Heat Transfer concepts.....thanks for the information..
My wife and I spent two months in Costa Rica - it was beautiful but hot! Thankfully other gringos 😉 told us to leave our AC off and just use fans - this was awesome - at night we would have our fans plus open all our windows at let the winds blow through - felt amazing - also not using AC led to our bodies acclimating to the warmer temperature 👍
I think this video is not factually correct. AC work by sucking hot air out of room so if you turn on fan the hot air on top gets mixed making AC work more and use more energy
You gotta think in numbers, A.C.s are generally installed in proximity to ceiling. also due to diffusion, air on top doesn't remains still, so there's negligible amount of increase in energy usage for that. But if you turn on fan sweat will evaporate quickly and you will need to use ac at low powers like 26-27°C. The net effect of both phenomenon being reduction in energy usage.
But the fan motor coil produces heat itself @ I²Rt which in a properly insulted environment adds to the heat load which the AC will have to handle. Furthermore running a normal fan will pressurise the room too much and lead to more leakage of cold air which is a thermal loss. You have not mentioned the most important caveat : This works only if the fan is run at minimum speed i.e. just enough to circulate the air. Just look around you. You're fridge doesn't have a huge ass fan inside it. Neither do large scale malls or cinemas where the AC is the primary part of the electricity bill. And as to the question of cold air sinking and not circulating the average AC has more than enough of a rate of change of air to overcome any stagnation.
It doesnt make any sense at all to operate an Airconditioner... provided sufficient ventilation plus Fan is plus power is there to operate it.. An Airconditioner actually conditions our mind to challenge the nature and make it very difficult for even kids to adjust with slightly hotter surroundings... Dont forget the additional lungs related issues with inhaling cooler air consistently.. This is one of the many devices we must discard and become Normal human beings..
Are dumb you make this fool video about fan+AC ?Are aware of heat transfer and mode of heat transfer , why air conditioner have a blower inside them if it need a ceiling fan.Dot spread this misleading video electricity consumption of air conditioner is dependent on multiple factors,
He is not dumb. I tried with and without ceiling fan. With Ceiling fan cool air circulates well. I know we have fan in AC but that is not efficient. Without Ceiling fan, it makes my back wet even at 27 degrees.
Cold air is heavier and hence settles on the floor. The fan helps blow this and circulate it around the room in all directions.
Atta boy 👍👍
We are using AC at 27°+ fan. Feels really cool.
Lol same here bandana 😂
Then switch off the ac
29
Same😁
I too use the same settings in AC. I put the fan in speed 1.

AC came from the science of aasmani kitaab kuran .
Always use this combo.. good to know the science
same we also use ac at 28...
I always use ac at 28 or higher becoz below that doesn't make you comfortable but makes you adapted to it. So I save much by using it along with fan
Yes bro even I use it at 27 or 28
Same here.
Too much cooling is lethal for our body m, without us knowing it.

When body temp is 37 why to use ac at 22. 27 28 is more than sufficient

@@adarsh4764 Use inverter ac with eco mode on at 28 degrees that's more than enough to make you feel comfortable for hours ofcourse with fan on

Bhai sachi batana, soya kab tha?
What did you do during daytime?
AC increases temperature outside houses , this makes environment hot too.
yes
Wow we found einstein😅
Use eco friendly one... There's still lil bit heat.. But far better than regular ones
Agree with this. I usually set my AC at 26C with Eco Mode on then supplement it with a solar rechargeable desk fan which helps circulate cool air from the AC, rendering less stress on the compressor. 😊
Knowledge In Each video.. Of down to earth
Respect Respect and Respect 🙏
i always use fan at speed 2 and AC at 26 C. Sometimes, i use AC at 25.
Try using AC on dry mode during monsoons along with a fan on medium speed....
What about dust accumulation at filter of AC as rotation of fan will lead to movement of dust in air and thus deposit dust in filter.
Temperature nearing 34 at midnight... What to do.... The top body of a particular building remains hotter as sooner as I turn off the ac ..
till now, i thought that people who were doing this were wasting electricity......its a concept of Forced Circulation..now i remember my Heat Transfer concepts.....thanks for the information..
I never thought about this though i prefer to keep the AC at 27 with the fan on.
Very well explained !
I am seeing this video while living in a room with this combo working
My wife and I spent two months in Costa Rica - it was beautiful but hot! Thankfully other gringos 😉 told us to leave our AC off and just use fans - this was awesome - at night we would have our fans plus open all our windows at let the winds blow through - felt amazing - also not using AC led to our bodies acclimating to the warmer temperature 👍
Meanwhile cooler gang is thinking cooler k pani me baraf dalu ya ni
but that fan makes my room hot... because the roof has been warmed up by scorching heat of the sun
Yes indeed, fan never cools it simply creates a circulation in still air like a breeze. This is where A.C. comes in if you can afford it
I do that all the time!
Very helpful thank you!!!
Thank you!

My parents dont all AC inside home, now i feel why!!
but it increses maintences xd
yes!! because the air from fan increase the disturbance of dust particle inside the room and clog the inlet of our AC.
Coolers are best.
I dint think any indian uses ac without fan...

i brought a bldc fan a week ago. its just 28w instead of 75w.
Looks like someone did his homework in high school
What kind of psycho only uses AC and no fan?? Weird
i use fan at 3 and AC at 26...

Using ceiling fan +AC at 22degree C
Your whole concept is wrong 🤣
