What you build in less than 30 minutes is impressive. Question: you start this project with bolt-new and then move to cursor ai. What I want to know - is cursor ai not capable of initiating a project like bolt-new does?
That’s a great question and I’ve been wondering the same lately. I’ll test it out to see the difference in results using the same prompt. The reason I like to start in bolt.new is because it integrates with Supabase right off the bat (whereas Cursor AI’s process for integration is slightly more manual). I think bolt.new is beginner friendly and more approachable for a non-technical individual trying to get their feet wet with app development

Definitely! I have seen many projects simulate this. I’d start in Perplexity.ai to see what exists, and then ask Claude for a tactical plan to execute on the AI apps of your choice (I like bolt.new, lovable.dev, and cursor AI)
Out of curiosity, do you go into Wordpress after this and add to it on the back end from there or do you go into the file manager and do everything from there....or through cursor, vercel or bolt?
I didn't build the full directory in this video out with robust data yet, but to do just this framework I showed here it was the length of this video! It's pretty crazy. I used to build out directories with Wordpress plugins and Squarespace workarounds but I am so glad those days are long gone. I'd estimate another hour to add robust data (I might do a follow up video on this if people are interested) My main project is lowhangingfruit.ai which is a small, curated AI tool library for small businesses and individuals looking to learn how to better leverage AI. I started that build on live last Friday, so you can see the progress I've made doing short spurts of work every other day on that project. I try to build in public and get feedback so that I don't go down a rabbit hole of building features that my users don't need!
I’ll do a follow up video for this! My professional background is in digital marketing and I have done this for many brands over last ten years. Now I’m doing it for my own projects! Thanks for your comment

I use Supabase to manage my listings! Via Cursor AI. I'll be posting a video about this soon!

How would you get traffic to this directory though? That is the hard part, getting the actual targeted visitors
