If the movie was made 10 years later, he absolutely would have been a Scottish immigrant. The movie tries so hard to make a point but has no idea what the point is. Making Girard Butler's character an immigrant during the Trump era is another level of thinking you have a point.

The ending was changed by the studio because originally, the main point was that the justice system is too corrupt to be fixed and Gerard manages to convince Jamie of that, making Jamie be the one who pushes the button that kills the last group of people. That was deemed "problematic" and a different crappy ending was written.
Problem with the Jigsaw/Joker type character is, even if they are super geniuses, where do they find the money to buy all the stuff? Stuff is crazy expensive
Girard butlers character was a high level spy gadgeteer gor the government and made spec ops equipment for like 30 years, 10 of which he had no real expenses other than planning for revenge. The cash and the ability to make devices was one of the few plot holes the movie didn't have
On the topic of Jigsaw another thing that's funny is he's a civil engineer, the type of engineer that builds bridges, and waterways and such, not machines.
I know that you said that Adum & Pals will be going on hiatus once you get through your backlog of videos but please keep doing these videos...nothing can replace Scoot but this is a great way to keep his memory alive!
In Jacob Geller's video The False Evolution of Execution Methods he touches on why typical medical anaesthesia isn't used. It's intentional, as the medical industry didn't want to create an association with doctors being killers. So to help defend the trust in medical care (and the ethos "do no harm") the creation of and administering of executions is/was done by non-medical staff.
It's more than just about appearances most medical associations flatly oppose the death penalty and have essentially decided to boycott the death penalty by making it so any doctor who helps with the creation of execution methods is at serious risk of being blacklisted, the us government of course has completely ignored this and just started importing execution materials from other countries which then also didn't work because a bunch of other countries have banned the export of chemicals used for executions to America so now the prison system has been desperately hiring engineers to develop any usable execution system. If you look into the topic its absolutely insane how much money the us government has spent to find ways to kill prisoners with very little success
I think the idea was the child was so traumatized by the video she saw she sucked her thumb as sort of a mental regression due to the extreme violent nature of the Gerry Butler Saw tape.
The part about this movie that makes the least sense ... Is jamie foxx asa prosecutor goin along with the police on the investigation. Attorneys im sure spend their days either in court or doing paperwork

Actually Canadian prisoners DO NOT get a PS2. I used to work for a used game store and the local minimum security prison would call us and order retro games for a gaming club they had, but they were not allowed to get a PS2 or any PS2 games, because it was online enabled. We tried to explain to them over and over that the online requires a specific cable and the servers have been offline for years, so there’s pretty much no feasible way they could get the online, but they did not seem to get it. So Canadian prisoners can only play Genesis and Super Nintendo!
First time I saw this, I thought Gerard Butler's accomplice would be Fox's blonde assistant who faked her death in the car explosions. That would have been an interesting twist, but instead its some random background character. The Twilight Brothers were right; the movie just stops.
Regarding the comments when the guy gets executed: Its actually very common for things to go wrong because a) the people doing the execution are not doctros (because doctors dont kill people) and b) the stuff they inject them with has no real clinical trials or something because how would you even do that. They are also not using just narcotics but a cocktail of stuff.(including paralyzing agents which can mask a lot of cases where problems occur) The original mixture was basically guesswork and after some failed executions they decided to switch to a single compound method but when one of the major manufacturers of that compound got wind of them using it for executions they just stopped making it. Basically the whole chemical injection methods ist just lay people poking around in the dark to see what works because no real professional is willing to get involved. They dont rally care about the ethics of it (because people that ARE concerned with the ethics are mostly against it in general) which is obvious when you look at countries that HAVE euthanasia procedures which ARE performed by doctors and its done way differently.

Man, this was such a blast to watch and listen to. We record these long enough ago that I genuinely forget almost everything about them. Scoot had such an impressive wit and making him laugh was always a 10/10 feeling. With Shea joining us it honestly felt like we were really settling into something. I know he’s a bit newer to the channel, but Shea is a phenomenally genuine and funny person. I didn’t realize at the time how amazing it was to be able to record these with Adam, Scoot AND Shea. It was so easy to assume we’d have this for years. Instead, as difficult as it is to admit, these were probably the best days of our lives, and there were vanishingly few of them. Scoot will be painfully missed; the recordings will never be the same without him. Still, it’s nice to have them here as a reminder of what those days were like. I’ll be watching them for years to come. I’m still grateful to have what I have right now; it’s important not to constantly wallow in the past and forever dread the future. Enjoying the present seems impossible 90% of the time, but looking back at the good times, it’s obvious that there existed countless times when the present was beyond enjoyable, euphoric even. We just need to notice it while it’s happening. Love y’all, Adam, Shea, the community around us. Stay close to each other, and remember: “It’s only a passing thing, this shadow.”
❤❤❤ Thx Gael, you rock, The Big Cat prowls forever ❤❤❤ He will continue to make countless people laugh uproariously and be an uplifting light in this world
The really messed up thing is that they DO put them to sleep before lethal injection, but sometimes the anesthesia doesn't take and they end up paralyzed- but not asleep - but able to feel everything going on.
Henson was also an active podcaster and gamer, especially through the The Worst Year of Our Lives podcast which he did with his frequent tag team partner, Softpaws. [An archive of the podcast can be found on UA-cam.] The 6-foot-1/2 Henson was born July 13, 1983, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He began wrestling in October 2002, and was also known as Scoot and Jimmy James. In the 3-2-1 Battle! promotion, Henson was a two-time Solid Steel Champion in 2016. As a part of the “Big Cat” gimmick, Henson would come out to the ring wearing gloves that looked like paws, and then would squeeze his hand to look like paws … which the audience would do too. His long-time partner Sarian Soft Paws (Drew Smith) posted to X about Henson’s death: Today was the first day I woke up knowing I didn’t have my tag team partner, my best friend, the funniest, most outrageous and ridiculous person I’ve ever met in my life. I spent almost 24 hours straight with you and in the very few hours after we parted ways, you were gone. Everyone always says it doesn’t feel real when they lose someone close. I now understand that. I saw you for almost a 24 hour period straight. Then in the few hours we were apart, you were gone. I don’t know how I’m going to live the rest of my life without you. I spent all day yesterday wanting to message you and tell you all the dumb, stupid, only funny to us things going around in my head only to remember all of that is only going to stay in my brain forever. My entire adult life has been sharing memories with you. The fact that I’m never going to get to say any of our inside jokes out loud to anyone ever again hurts me. That I won’t get to hear your laugh again when we both see or hear something that ‘tickles us just right’. That you’re never going to get mad at me again for not wanting to do something I’ve committed to. That we’ll never eat ourselves into completely immobile food coma’s on Anton’s then try to record a 2 hour podcast again. It may sound ridiculous to some but it feel like I’ve lost my partner, my heterosexual life partner. In the coming days I’ll say a lot more. I’m not sure when or how but I’ll go into much more detail. For now I’m just going to keep telling myself that this is all a rib. That you’re playing a mean prank on me at which I’ll laugh very hard when you show up at my house & act like nothing happened. I love you Scott William Henson. You were my best friend & I will love you forever. This fucked me up
Also you can't swallow your tongue in the literal sense, it's connected to your esophagus; your tongue can however settle at the back of your throat and block your airway, making it harder to breathe. If someone has a seizure they can also severely bite their tongue and in some cases even sever it.
My solder is lead free but if it's in there, it's in the solder itself. The flux is rosin based for electronic applications. Still not good to breathe in but actually had a pleasant piney smell

Stay close to each other, and remember:
“It’s only a passing thing, this shadow.”
❤❤❤ Thx Gael, you rock, The Big Cat prowls forever ❤❤❤

The really messed up thing is that they DO put them to sleep before lethal injection, but sometimes the anesthesia doesn't take and they end up paralyzed- but not asleep - but able to feel everything going on.

Guess Chief O’ Brian got fired from the Enterprise and became a detective on Earth.

Henson was also an active podcaster and gamer, especially through the The Worst Year of Our Lives podcast which he did with his frequent tag team partner, Softpaws. [An archive of the podcast can be found on UA-cam.]
The 6-foot-1/2 Henson was born July 13, 1983, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
His long-time partner Sarian Soft Paws (Drew Smith) posted to X about Henson’s death:
Today was the first day I woke up knowing I didn’t have my tag team partner, my best friend, the funniest, most outrageous and ridiculous person I’ve ever met in my life.
This fucked me up
Does anyone have a timestamp for “IT’S GOING TO BE BIBLICAL”?
Also, I miss Scoot 🙁
3 quarters the way thru
Also you can't swallow your tongue in the literal sense, it's connected to your esophagus; your tongue can however settle at the back of your throat and block your airway, making it harder to breathe. If someone has a seizure they can also severely bite their tongue and in some cases even sever it.

0:30 the flux in solder is lead based and you ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT breathe the smoke!
Nice try; you just want more of it for yourself
@@davidr2421 you got me
My solder is lead free but if it's in there, it's in the solder itself. The flux is rosin based for electronic applications. Still not good to breathe in but actually had a pleasant piney smell
I can certainly say hearing Scoot in this is one of the nicest surprises I could of asked for

All the skits with their character cutouts are golden! Always love that thousand yard stare of scoots tiger
My favorite character was director F. Gary Gray as Ice T playing Ice Cube

Best performance: Colm Meaney as Chief O'Brien making faces listening to the weird ramblings of Gerard Butler
