Buffalo needed to do more. Allen didn’t play that good. He almost fumbles it twice and almost had two interceptions. Allen got stuffed at the goal line twice and twice on 4th down. You hold josh Allen to an MVP standard and he didn’t deliver

Along with the commentary on the 3 plays that could have changed the game in Buffalo's favor.. don't lose sight of the fact that the BIlls put the ball on the ground 4 times and managed to recover all of them. They were living on the edge. There will be commentary about refs in Bills favor but the weird "false start" call that turned a late Chiefs drive to a 3rd and 15 instead of a 3rd and 5 was huge. I'd like to see a better look at the play because it certainly looked like Chiefs O line moved after the defender came across.
I don't think we'll hear any chatter whatsoever about the refs being in the Bills favor... did you watch the game? The refs handed the ball to the Chiefs on a gold platter at least twice.
I thought the replay pretty clearly showed the Chiefs offensive lineman moved because the Bills player had already jumped across, but they only showed it once and then moved on. It definitely seemed like they got that call wrong

Mahomes and Andy Reid get most of the glory but Spagnuolo deserves an equal share IMO.

O dont agree, guys. I thought both the 3rd and 4th down plays was short.
Not conclusive enough on that 4th down for sure, it was so close.
The throw to Kincaid on that drive, he was past the line to gain by a yard, they brought it back for some reason. They did this multiple times to the Bills.

lol as a chiefs fan was so looking forward to this latest episode where JS was going to cry so bad haha. You have to remember also the greatness of the chiefs fcks with opponents minds and decisions because they know they have to be perfect, because 15 has great record in winning from any situation. The chiefs were slaughtering the bills defense early and we’re about to establish a big lead when the Pacheco hand off went wrong.The chiefs just practice all year for these games. I mean when juju made a great gain early I was like wtf is that I didn’t recognize him because he’s had no receptions all year lol. And Mahones 2 touchdowns and hunts td were plays we have never seen before.

Watching the Chiefs all year I don't think it would have ever been a blowout it is like they can't do anything unless the other team is knocking on the door it is such a weird style of football.

Bills facemask against the chiefs, not called -cost ? 3 points. Two false starts in the red zone from the bills, not called. No one is talking about those because the chiefs win. Your team, any team, should be better than the refs missed calls. If you want to make a first down, then make an obvious first down. If you have to go back and review the play over and over to find where the ball is, you’re going to depend on the refs to win you a game.

You talked about “if any of those plays go Buffalo’s way…” but didn’t consider how it would have been if any of Allen’s fumbles were recovered by the Chiefs.
On the spot play, the way I felt about was that since it’s considered such an automatic play, and in the past worked so well, and that the chiefs had stopped them on it early and it was not conclusive they didn’t get it. It’s forth and a half a yard, run any other play and you get it decisively most likely

That 3rd down spot that leads to the 4th down sneak, looks on replay to be an incorrect spot. When you also look though at the what the ref is able to see the defender is blocking his view of the runners knee so the ref can't see whether it's actually down yet or not, but it does look to be angling towards the ground from his perspective so he might assume it's already down. If anything that should be on Buffalo for not challenging that 3rd down spot but they are in a tough position if they think they still need all their timeouts. I fully believe on the following 4th down sneak the ball did not get to the line. His back starts to get across where he needs, but he has the ball tucked into his chest. And from the front angle of Josh on the replay, Chris Jones unknowingly saves an overturn by standing in the way so we can't see the ball itself. Others have complained about the one official overturning the spot and saying he was short, but I heard someone say (maybe Shannon Sharpe, don't remember) that the side judge closest to the play is the one that is deferred to and the opposite guy is the one that marked Josh as getting it. The refs still conferred about it though before calling it on the field. I played football only up to freshman year of high school but I am a Husker fan so maybe that can count for something with this pod.

Hey guys, you should know that Reid has been playing rope a dope with play calling all year. The clear sign was when Mahomes was getting decked a lot and they refused to throw screens and short passes like any other team would do to protect their QB. I told everyone I knew that the Chiefs have a real playbook that they didn’t use the entire season until this game.

What happened to the special teams play?
I’m a Chiefs fan and I love Andy Reid but the idea he’s always on point with play calls is just not true.
Case in point Super Bowl 55 when the entire offensive line was injured and he still went into the game with the same deep passing offense he used to beat the Bucs earlier in the year.
Mahomes is inevitable.
Four straight super bowl victories.
Allen had his chance with 3 minutes left to win the game. Score there and they win. He couldn't do it. Nothing else matters, he had his chance, get in the end zone and Bills win.
But just like all game they came up short....
I doubt next year the Chiefs make it all the way. Depends on salary cap and who they pay to keep on defense

That game was lost by both McDermott and Joe Brady. McDermotts ends didn't maintain their rush lanes and Pat made them pay. Brady should have run more traditional run plays. The fade to Coleman(might be a bust). If you remember there was a sequence when they throw 3 straight times and go 3 and out. Then the chiefs go down and score. Joe Brady called the same game from the regular season. They also should've used the tight ends more. Also chasing points came back to bite them in the ass. If the bills move on from McDermott , they should seriously consider Brian Flores. Like you guys were saying in the playoffs, you gotta bring something new to the playoffs. I hope KOC actually learns from the playoffs and diversifies his play calling.

That call was righ its laughable theres even a still picture proving it never crossed the marker my god! The Bills lost because they didn't make the plays when they needed to and kept using a play that clearly wasnt working this game regardless of it working in others this season. The nerves and pressure on josh showed alot on his face.
