The really incredible thing is, this is Sonya (Pleng) and Lookmhee's (Wanviva) 1st leading roles. It's also Lookmhee's (Dr Wanviva) debut series coz she's much newer to the entertainment industry. So much pressure on her in her 1st drama series being cast as one of the leads particularly when it's Change2561's 1st GL series as well. And Sonya, she's been in some small supporting roles in other dramas and has done some commercials and music videos since she was 7 years old, but this is her 1st big role. Joining Change2561 as one of their artists 2 years ago, was her last shot at giving acting a real go and if it didn't work out, Sonya was going to quit. Thank goodness she didn't coz her and Lookmhee are both hugely talented and fantastic actresses. What helped to make the acting come across much more natural is the ease and chemistry Sonya and Lookmhee have with each other because they're best friends and have said they are each other's safe space/comfort zone. Like their characters in the show, they're also the same age, 25, just like their characters .☺🙂

Did you know that Pleng is a side character in the new GL series Pluto which just started last Sat night? Pluto is produced by GMMTV and both novels are written by the same author, Chao Planoy.

There are some character overlaps of a few characters across these novels. For example, Khun Nueng in Affair is also in Gap as a side character, but the main character in Blank. Dr Wanviva is also a small side character in Blank.And Khun Nueng's sister Sam and Sam's girlfriend Mon are the main characters in Gap and side characters in Blank.

Can I just say I love Sonya mentioning her needing a minute to breathe before she continued with Pleng's dialogue. It's writer's job to deliver a great script, but it's also actor and director's choice when filming to keep the drama but also keeping it real. I believe it's her instinct and also director's choice to let it happen. The freedom of doing what feels right. I always believe Affair is so well done is because of how natural it flows. And it's truly detail like this that makes it my favorite for 2024. Maybe even all time favorite. (Please give lmsy another great series, and keep the director and production team, 2561 pretty please😭😭😭❤❤❤)

There is no season 2 because this show is adapted from a novel. But Change has announced/confirmed that Sonya and Lookmhee will be in another GL series.

The CEO and Executive Producer at Change2561 have announced a new GL series for Sonya and Lookmhee at the last EP fan meet and screening event press conference last Friday. They will start shooting in approximately 3 months and the series will be out next year. In addition, they are releasing 2 new songs which have been recorded in the studio this past week. One of the new song's lyrics is written by Lookmhee, and it's called Save Space coz the song is about Sonya and Lookmhee's friendship because they're best friends. Because of the success of this series, Sonya and Lookmhee are also going on a 9 country fan meet (more cld be announced later). The first 2 stops are Macau and Hong Kong.
Please give them the opportunity to work together again in a new series.
