- Hnu Lee, Hmong Actress, appeared mostly on many of Xa Thao's drama movies and a well known Hmong Actress in the Hmong community around the world is now married and live in the United States. Richard Wanglue Vang, Anchor for SHIBC News, interviewed Hnu Lee on her current status and role as an actress.

I remember meeting them and their child at Forever21 at MOA last Christmas. They are a sweet little family! To see that he actually supports her and allows her to continue her acting career is beyond what any woman could ask for. And of course like any normal human being who has a significant other, you'd have your insecurities, but still be able to love and support them. I love love love her characters that she plays. Whether it be a serious role, and comical role, or a heart breaking sad damsel in distress role--she can do it all. I think it's great that she enjoyed acting in Nom Phaj, her funny characters are always super hilarious!

She is truly a career actress. Being married does not end there. She does what she does because her husband supports her. I applause her hubby for having the kind of mentality that promotes his wife. Hopefully, she sees that and return the same respect and loyalty to him.

There's a recently movie coming out that Hnub was in there. Was wondering why she's part of that movie Hneev Taw Txij Nkawm when she's already married?

anyone remember this one movie that hnub lis did, it's very old. I don't remember the story line much but i think she was a "ntxhais qaum ntuj" a guy saw her and her sisters at the river and he stole her towel...she couldn't fly back to her place..i believe she married that guy and has a baby with her then she went back to her place...i love that movie and the main song..if this information ring a bell then please tell me.
"she too hot for him" ? Where is the support in the Hmong community? Why do people always be judging others by the way of how one looks? Do you have the confidence, courage, and guts to go to Thailand and Laos and star in a movie with one of the Hmong superstars? Ok people she's not a thing or a property to be mix and match with a person who we think would suit her more. Your lifetime partners depends on your fate and how compatible you both are not by how your heart desire it to be. I'm glad to see that a hmong guy can let go of his insecurities and allow his wife to pursue her career. A lot of actress you see in hmong movies, after one or two movies you don't see them anymore due to them being married and it's sad to speak that they can't continue on their dreams. Hmong people we are still behind from other race because of our cultural strictness and shame.

Brother, why do you want your wife to do scary movie... I know that half is make up and acting but after the movie is complete, it turns out to be something that is real/ scary...
