- Today I am sharing some of my cleaning routine and sharing some of my favorite products to use while cleaning. Also, a little bit of baking happens too. #cleaning #cleaningmotivation #cleaningproducts #antiquehome #newengland #homemaking #cozyhome #branchbasics
Cookie Recipe: 1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup maple sugar (can sub regular sugar)
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups Spelt flour (or 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour plus
1/2 cup Whole Wheat flour)
1/2 tsp Lemon Extract
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
Cream together butter, sugar and egg. Add the remaining ingredients....blend. Cover and pop into the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Prepare your baking sheets, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Scoop Cookies onto prepared baking sheet, flatten and sprinkle with Lavender Buds (or any form of sprinkle you wish to use). Bake 6-8 minutes. Enjoy!

Hello Carla, Don’t you just feel good when you have cleaned all through the house & the lovely smells drift from room to room. I really enjoy doing housework & just pottering, finding new places to put our little treasures. The Roses look so pretty a sort of cabbage Rose. I like the saying at the end of the video about an old house not belonging to us but people belong to them. Just the other day as I was sitting & thinking, my thoughts where along those lines & I wondered who would live in our house when we have gone?… The history of the NE houses which dates right back to the 17th century is fascinating. You wonder if the previous owners would approve of all the changes, I’m sure they would in your lovely house. Thank you Carla, so enjoy watching your videos…😊
Thank you Jean. Yes, that is how I feel, we are merely the Caretakers of this house for a short while. I get such good Vibes from this house and I feel "She" approves of all of the changes we are making to "freshen her up". If only these walls could talk.....right? Clorox Creme Bleach Gel is good to clean off toilet bowl or bathtub soap scum or hard water stains and it won't scratch the finish of your bathtub or toilet. I have found it very good for cleaning sinks too.🐰🌷
Thank you, unfortunately if I use any form of Clorox I get an immediate headache. Thankfully this pumice does not scratch at all....it's amazing. Have a great week!
