Some constructive criticism from a fellow dance, sometimes your supporting leg was bent and in order to stay safe keep it fully straightened all the time and keep your legs lower until your placement is correct especially on your attitude it felt like it was thrown away and not placed properly but other than that this is a super helpful modification and i feel that this would look gorgeous on pointe xx
Yes, my supporting leg needs work for sure but I am happy with my attitude and my teachers have always complimented me on my attitude position. Glad you like the variation :)
Is it alright if I use this for an audition? It's for a Midsummer's Night Dream, and they want everyone to have a short ballet piece prepared. All credits to you as choreographer, of course.
Sure! Good luck with your audition! Would love to see a video of you dancing it - tag me @nataliedanzaballet on instagram if you decide to share a video! :)
Oh my goodness I love the red on you . I have a black lace fan that does the same thing. I know that I mentioned Esmeralda before but now I want to see a Carmen varaition another Spanish chick lol. But overall this is wonderful.
Wonderful and Beautiful! Thank You for these. My problem is that my legs are not very high in Attitude I don't know if they will ever get high but I do not have a nice Arabesque, Attitude or high developes. I can't even get to what I term table top which I guess is 90 degrees. I am still a low 45 or 40 lol! Cool tutu! Can you do some sort of choreography for those of us with low leg challenge?
Non-dancer old guy here. I watch ballets every weekend just because I like it. I've probably watched Osipova do Kitri a thousand times.😺 It's non-analytical; just enjoying the whole thing. But, I'd like to know what that "thing" is you're doing. You saying e.g. "plié, bouree, attitude" while doing them in the context of an actual variation has been a big help. Just another perspective. Thanks.
Fabulous Natalie! Love all your beginner variations, what a fabulous idea. It takes me aaages to learn them, but once I get them - happiness!! Thank you, these variations are the only ones I really can manage and I LOVE dancing them.
Would that be possible if you could upload some intermediate /advanced variations? I have been learning ballet for 5 years since 6, then I picked it up again. I appreciate your videos !!!
I have just moved to Spain so at the moment I don't have anywhere to film but I will try to film another variation soon, when I can find a dance studio to do it :)
@@NatalieDanzaBallet I agree! I would love to see an Esmeralda variation (for beginners, lol) too! Hope you're able to settle in soon! Unless you already have. Haha!
I would’ve loved to learn this but I got confused about which feet because sometimes digital flips it. Could you teach some variations from the back angle?
Hi. I loved this one so much it's really good for my level. But I wanna ask you how to do you know the steps of certain dance? Do you watch a certain video and try to break down the steps?
I love this soooooo much , your attitudes 😍😍😍😍 however sometimes your supporting leg was bent but whenever it was you corrected it which I think is very inspiring 💗💗it would mean the world if you could notice me
Theres no reason to be rude. Shes providing an amazing resource for beginner dancers and choreo for their teachers. This isnt constructive criticism, it's just mean
i dont understand why you don't have more subscribers, i loooove your videos! super helpful for beginner to intermediate dancers
Thank you so much lovely! :)

How did it go?

Great ideas for more variations! Thank you Melody! :)
With more practice and strengthening these variations look doable to an adult beginner like me. Thank you. Something to do in addition to repetitions!
Yay! I'm glad you like them! :)

Thanks for your comment! You can still do the variation with legs at 45 degrees but I will definitely keep this in mind for the next video! :)

I would love to see you do the Giselle variation from Act 1! Something with fewer hops on pointe...!
Yes, I've had that one in mind as it's one of my favourites! :)

Thanks for the suggestion, I’d love to 🩰

Awesome! I want to try this at home, too. Thanks!

What happened to the Sugarplum Fairy Variation? For some reason I can't play it anymore and I loved it!!!!!
I had to take it down due to copyright issues with the music. You can still find a clip on my instagram: instagram.com/p/BdDErUTHev2/

teacher, Can I do this on En Point ?
Hi. I loved this one so much it's really good for my level. But I wanna ask you how to do you know the steps of certain dance? Do you watch a certain video and try to break down the steps?
I just watch a few versions of the variation and then use it as inspiration to make my own choreography :)
Hermosa! 😘
gracias! :)
This is a great channel because I’m a ten year old dancer and I’m not on point and she makes it possible to do classical pieces not on point!
Yay! I'm so glad you like my videos Kellan! Good luck with your ballet :)
That leotard looks amazing!!! What brand is it?
Thank you! I'm sorry I don't remember the brand, I got it so long ago :)

this was a great video so no hate but just a little constructive criticism, try to relax your shoulders a little they seem a little tense
