I'm used to seeing aggressive driving at these things. I do like the concept though of using busses though. Check out the videos of the busses in the figure 8 race..now that was exciting.
Lol my school's bus was in there too, So I watched it there with my friends in the bleachers. If you guys were thinking it was boring, It got better at night. Washington High was on fire, Burgettes Town's roof got ripped off, and the Fort Cherry bus got knocked off the boundary. It ended up being a tie with Avella and St Peters buses both breaking at the same time. So they split the prize money.
Well that is a sad end to some old school buses that I would have rode on as a kid. :( On the plus side it really does show how safe those buses actually are in a collision, especially those Thomas Internatonals. The Blue Birds don't appear to be as strongly built but seem to hold up pretty decently.

martysk8r I just did watch a RV derby and was very surprised how much they break apart.

Students put custom paint jobs on those buses, maybe on the drivers too! Event got rained out this year.
