I love Ross and demelza characters. I know he did wrong .I even love the arrogant nature .war and pain can cause that . But his love for demelza speakers more volumes and ANYTHING he did for Elizabeth. And I don't blame Elizabeth either . She loved Ross but he was so diffrent than what she wanted.. have we not all been there at someone point? Demelza and Ross are soul mates, friends,and parners,love the show .

Ross, knew he is in love with Demelza , when he thought he was going to lose Demelza and said “ pray I do not lose the love of my life” Ross had no cause to see Elizabeth. Elizabeth never could make her mind up she has no back bone. She was fully aware the night she sent the letter.

So glad that I found someone that knows Elizabeth knew what she was doing when she sent that letter. She was arrogant to think she was still hurting Ross. She thought he would throw Demelza aside if he thought she was gonna marry George. Had no sympathy for her
