- Welcome back to our Hello Neighbor 2 DevLogs. In today's episode, we'll be recapping all of the patches that have come to Hello Neighbor 2 so far and what the future holds for the game.

As I understand, all the people who met hello neighbor 2 are not very good at the start, I can safely give me my opinion, because the game began to update and add new characters 2 months after the release!

Bro for steam and epic games launcher people are getting updates but people on ps4 xbox and nintendo there all still on patch 0 and the first update came out two months ago for steam and epic games SO I AM VERY MAD THAT THEY DIDNT UPDATE THE CONSOLES!!!
@@OofMan-mn6mc as they have said before, companies like Sony and Microsoft are very focused on profit and won’t let updates the size of the ones hn2’s getting onto consoles. When they release enough content, it’ll all be ported over to consoles in one big mega patch. You would’ve known this if you watched the video but in case you needed extra certainty here you go.

By "we haven't seen yet" do you mean the parts that you can still experience for free (Hello nieghbor 2 alpha 1 & alpha 1.5 on steam) or the footage that has been in every trailer for HN2?

the excitement is real, I do hope we get some fixes for certain animations, like some of Quentin's moving animations not playing correctly, keith using Peterson's animations and sounds for opening doors, and reacting to paint/trash, Gerda using Peterson's animations for showering and such. they might seem like minor stuff but they go a long way to make the game seem like a polished experience.

It's official. They lied to the console players
Must say it's amazing how far this game has come. From an animation in 2014 to a full fleshed storyline now in 2023. I think i'd be cool to recap on all the things (including the devgamm animation, early prototype etc) to see how far you've came as well as give a look into unseen things the devs have been hiding.
Every alpha of this game is better than any full version, they ruined such a good concept if you like this game you're taste is actually terrible 💀💀
@@kobbsy7441 I think that the games after alpha 3-4 kinda fell off but there’s *some* playability to make the game ok. Hello Guest was the last great game imo.

Well the Guest is literally the MOST requested according to their list of roadmap requests from the community, so yeah, for sure he will.

nicky and the missing journalist will probably be parts of separate campaigns. I think Mya will have a campaign as well, and Pumpkin kid and Guest kid. Main story expansions will probably include the guest

Is it me or is hello neighbor a first person game of a mobile game called robbery bob
I was really disappointed with the game. I spent 60 pounds for it on Xbox and it's not even complete, I'm going to have wait most likely for a year for fully complete game I may be speaking for a lot of people this game was a massive let down for the other games and now your trying to paint over your mistakes by making it sound like a puzzle this wait better be worth it and this extra content better add more hours and make it worth 60 pounds
Can you show us full alpha 2 gameplays
What most of us really want to see is two things. One, the Guest. I know you guys get a lot of questions saying where is the guest? I know that he’s supposed to come later LATER in the lore, but it would be pretty cool for the Guest to patrol the Golden Apple Amusement Park. Like in Hello Guest. Two, we want there to be a “ragdoll” mode like the one from the HN2 alphas. Basically, when you threw an item like a broom or trash bag and it made the guest tumble over. Do these things and the game will get way more love
I did love the sandbox physics and combat that the hn2 alphas had, I really hope they add those back

This is an amazing video! I really love how you guys are actually listening to the community about what we want in the game! I really can't wait to see what you add. I really hope you release Alpha 2 soon so we can see what that was. Considering you've shown Alpha 2 gameplay in this video we can determine that there is definitely a fully playable Alpha 2 build somewhere. PLEASE RELEASE ALPHA 2! I wish you guys best of luck with fixing this game, so far you've done wonderful!

Plz patch the dlcs they are so glitched and when I got to top of the clock tower in back to school dlc, it never worked. I reset the dlc 3 times and it never worked for my sanity plz do it😭😭

Dear developers, please do a normal optimization in the next patch. And when I turn on the lowest graphics - the game had the same graphics as in DLC and as in beta.
Hey Tinybuild, I have a suggestion:
If a player is spending too long on a puzzle, the enemies should say some hints towards what to do.
For example, in the police house, maybe they could have said something like,
“I hope no one has scissors”
“The toilet is clogged”
“These paintings look suspicious”
“I wonder what’s on TV”
Stuff like that, you know?

When will that scene of me peterson throwing us through the tunnel in the ai trailer get added? I really wish we could see aggression from the characters like mr Peterson, for example, instead of making us respawn outside of the house, he could lock us somewhere that we have to escape from and drag us there, similar to the popular mobile horror game format. I’m not saying that we have to have a place for all of the neighbors to lock us up, some of the neighbors don’t even have to be aggressive, but I really think, especially with mr Peterson and Otto that they should have somewhere to drag us to solve a puzzle at when they catch us to make the stakes higher. Maybe Officer Keith could put us in his police car? I would love to have an animation where we have no control of being dragged away to a place where we have to solve a puzzle to escape. It would make us plan out our entries into the houses and not just run in. Sorry for dragging on, and thanks for reading this far if you have but I think it would really give another layer to Mr Peterson and Otto if they do that. Also, where is the free roam after the main game on the ps4?

Overall this was a brilliant devlog Adam! Will being able to block doors with chairs be added? I thought it was really cool to see doors being banged down lol

Hello neighbor 2 still is called "beta" in the gamefiles. So they have definetely a lot more to show. I just wish they made it clear from the start.
