The main issue is media, who doesn't pick topics that are important to discuss for our national security and to put pressure on PSU to work faster. 2nd problem is corruption and lack of accountability in bureaucracy (top - bottom). Govt. itself claimed in their report, 2020 covid funds alloted for poor people not reached their doors, reason - corrupt bureaucrats. 3rd problem is loop holes in policy making and execution of policies.
People must have noticed that ISRO, DoAE work best because those organisations are run by technocrats not by bureaucrats HAL has technocrats but is run by bureaucrats.. Change this & we'll start seeing better results

Even to do the reverse engineering, we don't have workforce available. HAL & other PSU are pathetic, only 5%-8% of workforce works all other just enjoy the government salary. Shameless people!! I disagree that Tejas is a super fighter. If the purpose is short combat radius where a canard less unstable aircraft can escape in spin roll giving Jar Jar type experience the Tejas is fine. If air dominance is needed, Tejas will be a total failure. The GE engines is arguable a bright spot in this aircraft.

I disagree that Tejas is a super fighter. If the purpose is short combat radius where a canard less unstable aircraft can escape in spin roll giving Jar Jar type experience the Tejas is fine. If air dominance is needed, Tejas will be a total failure. The GE engines is arguable a bright spot in this aircraft.
Need to balance the Gov and contractors

This is the perfect example of the failure of the opposition. If they are nationalistic, this would have been a national news issue. Press and opposition holds a major responsibility of these failures.
