    I am actually planning on making an e surfboard this summer and this talk was really helpful for me.. the questions were proper and it was nice of Christian to answer and share his build. I hope we can get more of this content. Thanks guys!

    fucking love this. i spent a year researching and watching this guy. tried to contact him a few times, and eventually gave up on everything. im glad someone got some of the answers i was looking for

    Do you know if I can use my 190kv Flipsky 6374 motors in my upcoming diy jetboard build.. I used them on my electric skateboard build and they rocked until I shattered my knee.. now I’m sticking to being in the water, it’s a little more forgiving then asphalt.. haha. I’d really like to use the motors I already have if possible..

      Yes you can, but these motors need constant open air circulation for cooling, when you put them in a sealed watertight compartment they will get red hot pretty quickly and then you get the magic smoke.
      You could cool them by "forced air" with special/custom fans and heatsinks but that's an overcomlicated route, You need diffrent style motors, google 'water-cooled outrunner", some are pretty cheap now.

      those are most dangerous among Li. I will go for nanophosphate (cheapest version) and/or LTO (top version).

    3k beginner project LOL dude you on dope?! Double or triple jet pumps and cost will be around or under 1k .....
