Their show is better than recordings. That's unheard of.... MLB- check out these 7Dust songs- Waffle, Enemy, B!tch, Black, Angel's Son (ballad), Praise, The Past (w Daughtry) amd there at least 10 more!!!!
I was lucky enough to see them live in Atlanta for their first album tour. Heavy as hell and one of the most fun shows I've ever been to, The crowd was INTO it. Lajon brought his dad out to meet the crowd and then threw a joint into the audience screaming "smoke a joint!" at the top of his lungs before ripping into the next song. My teenage mind was blown. LOL
"Confessions of Hatred" and "Skeleton Song" are both mood music. As everyone else has said, one of the most energetic live shows I've ever seen, and I've been going to their shows since the late 90s.
Came just to say this, Praise is one of those hard rock songs you can still understand so I think he'll love that... Angel's Son is just a must because of how much emotion it can evoke.
i like that you cover all kinds of music. sevendust was big during the nu metal era and have continued to make a place in alternative metal. their most successful hits were "Angel's son", "bitch", "waffle" and "black" all great songs and yes as a fan i am biased. lol
Lajon Witherspoon aka LJ vocals Sevendust has been doing it since the mid 1990s and they are amazing live and have a huge catalogue of music. Have always been underrated in my opinion, I hope you check out more from them, they truly are great and out of the ATL as well too 🤘🏻🔥 Seen these guys over 30 times, I have met them on multiple occasions and every time LJ recognizes you he calls you family. These these guys are always appreciative of their fanbase, you always feel like you are unified with them. Broken Down, Enemy, Face To Face, Praise, Black, Denial are a few songs to get you started sir
Absolutely love this! My all time favorite band. Have seen them every single time they come to town. Would love to see you explore more of their discography, others have mentioned their other most popular songs for a listen. Btw they are out on tour right now. Check their schedule. They come to our town this fall if you’re interested in seeing them live. As others have mentioned an absolutely amazing and dynamic band every single show. It is definitely worth the experience.
Enemy was also another big song. Their entire 2010 album which brought the guitarist back who was with them on the first 4 albums was fantastic also. Singles are, “Here and Now”, “Forever” and “Unraveling”.
Having seen sevendust by pure happenstance the first time and intentionally several times, it’s even better in person. Dudes voice is immensely underrated, he’s an excellent vocalist
I've seen them live a few times, and they have to be the loudest band I've ever seen lol. Been one of my favs since I was in high school in the 2000s. I'd check out Denial, Waffle for classics, Xmas Day and Angel's Son for their softer side.
Sevendust throw a banger live. Love this band. Been on my list since I was a teen. I love the entire Alpha album, but song callouts from their discography would be Corrected, Shine (my favorite), Enemy, Denial, Praise, Black from their 97 album, Damaged.
thanks for checking out this band. This song is on point! 7D has been around a good amount of time...almost 30 years now; with 18 albums. If you go back 1 album you can check out their Grammy nominated song "Thank You". One of my personal favorites is a song called "Decay". This is where I find your interpretation of this song interesting. I dont agree that it is a protest song. Yes, there are overtones of "war". But, one of the main motifs the singer writes on is "relationships", and are quite present in the other 2 songs I suggested; along with many others. You hit the nail on the head about, "do we have to do this anymore? Its pointless. can we look for another reason to solve issues?" I believe the issues he brings up are the struggles of choices people make in their lives, not oil.
They have many songs..... I love many, but not all... Go watch (Licking Cream), collaboration of LJ (7-dust) & Skin (Skunkanansie) both my favorite vocalists....
I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned? The lead vocalist (Lajon) was originally an RnB singer. So, his skills and style are influenced by that to some degree. He can definitely do the shouting/screaming (deeper screaming, not vocal fry really). Plus I've personally written a few songs with one of the guitarists, Clint (who also has a great voice). Was a great musical experience!
Check out anything off the South Side Double Wide Live album. It’s all acoustic. Seen a lot of shows in my life and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone better live. These guys are HIGHLY underrated. Been rockin with them since the late 90s.
Check out their track licking cream. Features a duet with a fantastic female vocalist called skin from the band skunk anansie....who you should also be checking out.
Please do a reaction to one of their live sets on Conan. Song is called Waffle. One of the best live performances I've ever seen. LJ's voice moves mountains!
Lajon Witherspoon is a very underrated vocalist, & this band throws a great live show
ive wanted to see Sevendust live so bad and i keep having to miss them, definitely a band that is high on my list to see still

@@DavidDuntonyou better see them soon, they’ve already discussed hanging it up
Ive had the opportunity to see them live in 04 and they did an acoustic show in 2020. Both times freaking amazing!
"Confessions of Hatred" and "Skeleton Song" are both mood music. As everyone else has said, one of the most energetic live shows I've ever seen, and I've been going to their shows since the late 90s.
This band is so fucking good live
hell yeah....finally back to sevendust. hands down my favorite band
My favorite Sevendust songs are Praise and Angel's Son- but there are many bangers. Solid band.
Yep, they're both underrated and appropriately rated at the same time.
Came just to say this, Praise is one of those hard rock songs you can still understand so I think he'll love that... Angel's Son is just a must because of how much emotion it can evoke.
Sevendust is fantastic live!!!!
These guys are great live
So good. One of my favorite concert memories is catching a drumstick from Morgan Rose at a show in Buffalo
Disgrace accoustic is one of my ALLtime favorite songs ..this band is insanely under rated
I live in an area that Sevendust used to tour frequently. They have a really good set of hits and I hear that their live shows are fire.
They used to always be in south bend and fort Wayne Indiana
Oh snap one of my favorite bands
Lajon is such an amazing vocalist . These dudes needed so much more attention but they've been around since the 90s.

I love Sevendust so much. 🤘
Favorite Sevendust songs are Praise, Live Again and Denial
Lajon Witherspoon aka LJ vocals

Sevendust there first album HOME is fucking killer. My favorite songs on this album HOME, DENIAL, HEADTRIP, LICKING CREAM, AND SO MANY MORE!!
You may be surprised to know that Home, was in fact, not their first album! Their first album is self titled.
Sevendust rules. I used to blast their album Home back in high school nonstop 😂
Seen them live 8 times they're fantastic
I knew you were digging it .... (Smiles)
They are EPIC.....!!!!!
Seen them about 30 times. Absolutely my fav band.
It is a relationship song...I never knew what you needed...only that I was wrong
I've seen them live a few times, and they have to be the loudest band I've ever seen lol. Been one of my favs since I was in high school in the 2000s. I'd check out Denial, Waffle for classics, Xmas Day and Angel's Son for their softer side.

Holy shit Sevendust?! Where’s this come from!
A must see
YES SEVENDUST ROCKS
Check out anything off the South Side Double Wide Live album. It’s all acoustic. Seen a lot of shows in my life and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone better live. These guys are HIGHLY underrated. Been rockin with them since the late 90s.
Awesome band. You know you sound like Niel De Degrass Tyson lol. It's a compliment. The way you describe your reactions. It's really cool.
Initially watched because it was a Sevendust reaction. Followed because you liked it and said “kerfuffle.” 😅❤
PLEASE fall down the Sevendust rabbit hole.. you won't be disappointed
Instant Fan......!!!!
(YOU....!!!)
Check out their track licking cream. Features a duet with a fantastic female vocalist called skin from the band skunk anansie....who you should also be checking out.
I see the comments but no bs. I've seen hundreds of bands and they are amazing live.
Sevendust is greatly underappreciated but damn they are good!
Please do a reaction to one of their live sets on Conan. Song is called Waffle. One of the best live performances I've ever seen. LJ's voice moves mountains!
This weird time signature messes with my brain. But love it
Angel's son. I think it's one of the best
Denial! Please do sevendust Denial
Hey jw. Do you only review songs with music videos? Honest question
Licking Creem... their best IMO
If you haven't heard Angel's Son by Sevendust then you should
Oil, or it's because Congress/Senate make millions off defense industry contracts regardless of what anyone is fighting over
