As a Franco you don't need to get closer to the team fight if you have the hook ready, stay at a distance and aim for Hooking one patiently. Never waste Franco Hook, that's his only scary weapon that everyone hates. Once enemy sees that you missed your Hook they will never be scared of initiating a fight
You are not wrong but it's really easy to dodge a hook unless you are in a bush so the only thing they are scared is francos ult which is also a supress skill(only 3 heroes have this)
Franco has a detail on his hitbox for the firts skill, to hook the enemy u should direct the skill a little bit to the right side of the target to hit it, otherwise it won’t be hook

To play franco help ur teammate who are one top lane if you want to go headstart and get to lvl 2 go to top lane and roam and defeat the minions to get an early lvl 2 for hooking if anyone is at the bush running hook from the top of the bush and use flicker if you want to do a trick if you can hook way to far use skill 1 then flicker front not back if you want to steal lord go and hid in a bush when the enemy takes the lord on low hook then it will say an allied has slain lord thank you i hope you read this
