Problem with saying "if you fail the physical portion" is that women are held to a different standard and 99% of them would fail if they were held to equal standards. Moral of the story, if you get deployed into a fire fight pray your squad is male only because that woman who scored a perfect physical score is going to get you killed when you ask her to pick your 200lb wounded ass up.

I was a Scout attached to an MP company deploying to Afghanistan. It was a combat deployment with patrols, but FORTUNATELY we had trucks for the equipment because there was not. a. single. ruckmarch. that we went on that the females did not have to pass along their rucksack onto a male.
So we had females BARELY finishing the march with no bags, and males who were carrying two soldiers' bags and finishing the march without a problem.
We had ONE female who could adequately keep up with the males, but she went out of her way to work out for four hours EVERY DAY just to KEEP UP with us.
Dudes who worked out twice a week continuously and consistently smoked her on physical tasks.

I retired active Duty in 2015 and will say with absolute certainty that women are given an easier standard over men in every category while serving. Physical fitness was just the most obvious one. On a 1.5mi track run men had to lap the women (beat them by 2:15) in order to receive the exact same score. The strength portion was an even bigger joke. They needed half what men needed to pass.
For 20 years I watched every woman get treated with padded gloves and coddled. We men had to take up the slack the entire time. NO WOMAN has ever earned her equal paycheck in the military.

I remember even as a kid watching some tv movie where a high school girl wanted to play football….and I even thought then what is wrong with her? Even if you take very in shape dedicated gym ladies….they will be competing against in shape men. Frankly I don’t even think in shape ladies can compete with out of shape men. Why is it so controversial now to accept men are stronger than women? Why do we keep trying to act like reality doesn’t exist? This never used to be an issue. As former military i am glad i never had to serve with a woman in a combat zone, at 195-225 (my military weight over six years)...there is NO WAY any woman i ever met in the military would be able to pull me out of a combat situation. They are fine for clerical duties or something similar, not for combat. In combat all they are going to be is cannon fodder.

No clerical duties either!!!! It all started from there...! Wanting to have a say in everything thinking that they can do better. And this is from a woman that is reasonable enough to accept her limitations.

Just agree with them already. It isn't genetics or biological differences at all. It's because the women didn't work hard enough and train hard enough. They just didn't want it as bad and weren't as good. Just keep training harder and you can do it, ladies!

    • @LuxEternis
      @LuxEternis 5 місяців тому

You clearly don’t know how biology works then. Women physically have less muscle mass then men. Less muscle mass = more strength. And let’s not forget all the other disadvantages women have for something as demanding as the military like periods, worse control of emotions, etc..

@@marimoerostraw Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it was for real, not because they can't but because they aren't putting their all. A lot of the time women do underestimate themselves.

I agree with my husband he’s a veteran and carried the burden if time in the service.
This is a man’s arena and with what happens in these very horrible situations that men
have to deal with in a combat or active shooter situations this will not have a good outcome
if the team is not physically able to get the job done. I’m in the medical field they don’t pass
someone into this field if they perform sub par. Quality needs to be 100% and if someone or a group can’t cut it they have no business next to professionals,

It is so annoying to pretend that women are equal to men.
When the boy and girl were wrestling, the girl became overwhelmed and started to cry. Women break down too easily and then cry. You can't have that on the battlefield.

I'd be careful about generalizations. *Some* women actually do quite well. Hand to hand combat? Maybe not. But war is not always about pure strength. Try listening to traffic on two nets while keeping the blue force tracker updated and shouting directions at the driver. I'll take that momma bear PSG in her early 30s who's been divorced once and has a patch on her right side over that strong 22 year old athletic male from west point.
