I am uploading a video in a short while that shows Cuddles with D.J on Sunday afternoon. Cuddles is very well and looks like she may be coming into heat! The video will titled Cuddles' Chronicles - May 12th.

Excuse me, but when you take care of six of your own cats, some with medical issues like Teaspoon, 3 momcats, 10 kittens, eight with Giardia, then you get to criticize. Mr A is an absolute star. I would hazard a guess that he hasn't had much rest these last few weeks. Also, if you have ever heard him talk, you must know how soft hearted he is for all the kittens who have come to the Academy. I have been worried for him because it's clear he takes the cats and kittens in his care to his heart. I have watched other streams and observed momcats and kittens in small enclosures, cages, and cupboards. Mr A and DJ have opened up their whole home to the cats and kittens in their care, even their bedroom. Everyone who rescues cats and kittens deserves only thanks and admiration. I trust them to make the right decisions for all the kitties in their care.
I know from watching videos of a lot of semi-feral and feral cats and the folks that foster them, that some cats take a lot of time and will only finally relax and become adoptable when they're with someone who (like Mr. A said) has that innate comfortable response with them. I know it'll be tough on Mr. A to send Cuddles off to finish her post-graduate training, but it sounds like the person they have in mind is a specialist in this, AND has more time to spend with Cuddles, so I think this will be much healthier all around.
I am truly appalled and disgusted at the comments made here about Mr. A's decision to remove Cuddles from her kittens. First off, the kittens who were recovering from their bout with Giardia, were reinfected with it again as they continued to nurse on Cuddles. Then, she was regressing in regards to her behavior towards Mr. A, who was finding it very difficult to give her medication for the Giardia. After consulting with Dr. Katz, DAWS, and DJ, it was considered in Cuddles' best interests to separate her from her kittens and put into another room, so she can "reboot" and the resocializing process can begin again. As to Hot Chocolate being her own emotional support kitten, all Mom Cats have favorites at the beginning, but as we have often seen, as the kittens get older, they are more interested in playing with each other, than with Mom. If Cuddles was back out in the wild right now, she was probably become pregnant again with another litter as she has gone into heat. She has adjusted well to being in the room by herself, and receives daily visits from Mr. A and DJ. As shown on the Cuddles Cam beginning today, she is quite happy. I would never question a decision by Mr. A, DJ, Dr. Katz or DAWS. They are the experts in their own right and have been doing this for a number of years. If you do not like what you are watching on the live stream, go find another foster cat live stream to watch. Negativity and lack of respect towards Mr. A and DJ will not be tolerated here or on Discord. Go spew your nonsense elsewhere.

Cuddles may also actually do better as a solo cat. She’s never had time to just enjoy and settle in without other cats nearby. She knows there are other cats nearby and it could be stressing her out cos she wants some space to call her own and without the demands of kittens too. I think she’ll flourish with a no cat adult only quiet household. I hope so.

The saying "It takes a village" truely applies to cats too. How cool that Cuddles gets to first be helped by Mr.A, a fosterer who specializes in birthing and kittens, and then can be further helped by a fosterer who specializes in socializing spicy or semi-feral cats.
A difficult situation, for sure. But Cuddles does need more one on one time with someone to help her over her traumas and fears of people. She does really seem to respond better to females, from what I. Saw on camera. Separating the kittens wasnt intentional to shock or make it more traumatic on her. But, until she cleared the Giardia she had from being outside so much, it would've reinfected her kids, making the situation worse. Idk if theyll trt to have her kids to visit to guage what kind of reaction theyll have. But theyre past 6 weeks and are/were in the weaning period anyway, but for comfort nursing. I guess we'll just wait and see, and go from there. At least shes in a safe, warm place protected and no more pregnancies. I love this girl and her cattitude and am totally rooting for her.❤

I just love that little guy. He is so sweet. He is by far my favorite kitten to ever graduate from the Academy. The fact that he was adopted by Mr A and DJ is the icing on the cake.

I feel sure MR A has done the right thing for Cuddles. Cuddles now needs specialised time with someone and MR A and DJ cannot give that time she needs right now. They have worked wonders with her given how spicy she was when she arrived. And no one knows her history so that may be something to explore when a new foster has time? People being so critical should remember that sometimes difficult cases like Cuddles do come along and realising that KA is no longer the best place for them is no admission of failure or anything. It’s recognising that a particular cat has more particular needs that can be best met elsewhere. Time to stop the criticisms. 😊
I also can’t understand why Callie has not been adopted yet !! If I was able I would love to take her but it’s just not possible 😢

Has Cuddles been spayed? It helps a lot of spicy kitties to have one less source of stress. She seems to like and trust humans, it could be hormones or other kitties being around that’s stressing her out.
No, Cuddles has not been spayed yet. Mr. A is hoping to get that scheduled over the next few weeks.
What about hot chocolate? That is HER emotional support animal 🥺 your going to take all her babkes away from her and let her leave without any of them? 😢 i know you have their best interests at heart, but i would put her baby in with her, and i bet she would take right to her. Ive been away from social media for a couple of days for personal reasons so i may be missing something big here. But she came around a lot. She was starting to live up to her name, and then the littles went to see the other llittles and cuddles no longer had her babies, then was put in a room by herself. And that's all i know, but please dont take her favorite baby from her AND place her in a different foster 😢 this makes me so sad. Im a long time follower of KA, i love what Mr A does with all of these cats. And DJ doing amazing work with Cuddles. Im so proud of that girl but cant help feel really, really sad.

Me too! For years I have never questioned any of Mr. A’s decisions and intentions but this week I have. Mixing sick kittens didn’t sit right and then isolating Cuddles from her own babies. He said initially it would be for a day or 2. After hearing this update I feel like the separation was intentional, knowing he decided to move her. Why not move her with her babies then? If he said that he attempted a visit w/Cuddles and her babies and she wasn’t interested, MAYBE I’d be more comfortable with his decision. I still feel it was abrupt and cruel to momma and the babies. Poor Sky now has double the number of kittens while she’s adjusting to a weansie at the same time. I’m so disappointed in Mr. A’s handling of this situation and have to agree w/ Susanmorris that I, too, saw him lose his patience for the 1st time with her. It all makes sense now.

Of course Mr. A doesn’t want to care for Cuddles and had no patience whatsoever for her. It was absolutely wrong to take her away from her kittens and assume that the kittens and mom Cuddles weren’t ready to be done with the nursing business? I sure do hope that the kittens who “were” from Cuddles will be strong enough to grow and healthy and also be strong too to live a long life ever!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰😺😔😡. Thank God Dr. DJ is loving Cuddles cause she has the patience for Cuddles and she s also a cat person too. Claiming Mr. A doesn't care for Cuddles or has no patience for her is demonstrably untrue as recorded throughout her entire stay. Not sure why you'd publicly comment such hurtful and fanciful things about someone. I suppose some find it entertaining to pick someone to "hate-on" when they watch content. Thankfully Mr. A and Dr. DJ care more about the longterm wellbeing of the cats/kittens than random public opinion. Mr.A & DJ are a unified front working closely with a vet team and rescue organization.
I don’t know mr. A from Adam but I can tell just from what I have gathered from here and discord, he and everybody else are doing what is best for cuddles NOT what is best for the humans who watch the discord or livestream. Mr. A and Dr. DJ have opened up their home and given up their privacy for the sake of the cats and kittens in their care and I have all the respect in the world for them. I have never seen anyone as devoted as he is. I have seen other responses in this comment section and it looks like his followers are going all feral on you for your awful comment and I sure as hell wouldn’t want them on me.
Susan you have always been opinionated on everything. Why don’t you start you’re rescue and see how you do. I know for a fact you were thrown off another channel. I’m glad for everything Chris and DJ do. Stop being so ignorant and pushing the prayer emojis every five minutes.
