Honestly speaking, this new version fits perfectly with 'the time' while the 2014 also fits with that time. If the new version kept the original scene, it would make Phun cheating on Aim. And I'm sure fans will get very angry over this. I think the team did very good work in writing the script. It feels 'correct' and more accepted in nowaday's trend. Also, I'm glad they postponed the airing time so the casts can get more acting classes and workshops. Their acting quality is excellent. Almond (Phun) eyes are so expressive it could speak thousand words without him talking. They're very good. I cried with them during the beach scene😢 Their chemistry is also on point.
I feel exactly the same, Josie. I am fully captivated by the story, the direction, the screenplay, and the amazing chemistry between these two boys. I feel all of it perfectly captures puppy love, especially between two sixteen-year-old boys. I believe all of it. As you noted, several of the scenes, not only in this episode but in previous episodes as well, are immaculate. The acting is sincere and authentic, not to mention the direction and dialogue are on point,and I fully believe what is happening. I have either seen or experienced much of it when I was in high school over four decades ago. It's refreshing. Like you, this is a show I very much look forward to each week. I am experiencing much the same feelings and emotions you are when I watch each episode, and I enjoy re-watching them with you.
After they decided to not pursue their connection, they half unconsciously refuse to part, it feels like they are literally tearing themselves away from each other like they were VELCROed together, and the parting makes an audible crackling sound like ripping VELCRO when you watch the acting. They have good chemistry together.
If i am not wrong Noh and Yuri are NOT a couple, although she does like him and wants to be with him. His friends keep pressuring him and asking him why he doesn't want to date her, but I think he's just not interested in her. 😅
Yes. It was Yuri who kept on chasing Noh. And she actually lied to her friends and said that Noh is her boyfie. Noh, being the good guy that he is, just allowed it.
As an old ass woman, I am tooooo invested in the love story of a pair of 16 year olds. I blame My School President for making me give school BL series a chance 😂
Phun in 2024 version is more handsome and has better acting than 2014 version. in 2014 version as I remember when noh in phun's room they did more than kiss, correct me if i'm wrong. but that means they're cheating, I like this version better
