Honestly, that puzzle level was actually pretty clever. I think with just a few minor modifications it could be an actually really good level.
I'm with panga on the pro controller thing. It is my favorite controller ever, it is so comfortable and the buttons and joystick are really nice. However, I actively avoid using the dpad whenever possible because it is one of, if not the worst dpad I have ever used
Have you tried the gulikit kingkong 2 pro? So far it's the best I've ever tried and has infinite analog lifespan, so hoping to keep it forever
@@gordonfogwill4885 I really like it though it definitly has a latency issue in wireless mode that can be a problem in hectic levels or games requireing fast inputs (some inputs can get "eaten" even).

That first level was downright filthy
Day 336 of posting a cool animal fact:
Whale sharks have "teeth" on their eyes! They're called dermal denticles, which if any of you remember a previous fact where I talked about how sharks you'll know what they are. But for those who dont, dermal denticles are like sharp raised scales which help reduce friction when swimming through water, which makes sharks faster. The purpose of having these scales all over their eyes isn't entirely known but it's assumed it is to protect them since whale sharks don't have eyelids.

To be fair, that puzzle level tried. Everything (except the one red pipe you can go in) was hinted, just very poorly. Also Panga totally could have got thiccnes at 20:27, then busted open link, and beat the level much faster.
Those two levels took up the entire vid haha
that last level is really cool; i like the theme of re-using the same big shell over and over again throughout the whole level
As a member of team shell I’m here here to let u know that the line under the throw icon indicates that the next trick is a surf. It shows that the shell you are throwing will land on ground before you jump off of it.
Good thing he pre-liked that level or it probably would have gotten a rage boo lol
That Team Shell level was worth completing for the Yoshman murder cycle at the end though.

Panga does have one thing right-the Switch Procon is one of the most comforting controllers I've ever had the privilege of holding.

The best part is the Barb Blocks that punish you for clearing an area, but not in the *exact* way the creator intended. This level is only cool if you're the person who single-handedly ensured the creation of Super Expert.

I just bought a Switch a couple days ago and I was able (after 1 hour) to beat 1 easy kaizo hahaha

Pretty sure the puzzle one wasn't intended to be beaten that way, you were supposed to hit the P, let the cannon fall, and stand to the far right where the indicator is, so that the chonkiness falls and you can use it to get the link suit

'This Thwomp Needs A Haircut' would have been a better title for the video
Do the TAPE mod. It's so much better. I actually went back about 4 times to adjust and add more tape each time. Don't be too afraid to put too much. I hated using my pro controller before and now it's all I use.
The last level was very cool!

Panga may not see this, but u suggest getting a Guilikit or Zen Pro Controller. Zen Pro is cheaper and newer, they have Hall effect stick control and can connect to basically everything including Switch

Damn this first level looks awesome
I've had 2 of the 8-BitDo controllers and absolutely love the way they feel and play...but the pads behind the buttons and d-pad wear out SOOOO quickly when you play SMM2 daily. Pro controller had d-pad issues but the size and feel are pretty much perfect.
Hey Panga there is actually an easy way to fix your D-pad a little with some small pieces of tape.

Why are you complaining about the beginning of the level doe? I think it was you, a long time ago said, "If you're going to put an intense and extremely hard trick into a level, it should be at the very beginning or right after a check point." So they're following the Panga Formula.

I prefer D-pad to Joystix so I use Playstation controllers with an 8bitdo adapter for Mario Maker. I just like the Sony D-pad

Hey, Panga, get a Pro Controller shell mod. There is an octagonal mod for analogs. Like in old school Wii's Classic Controller!

If you want the best D-pad on planet earth, use the beboncool controller. If you insist on comfort above all and still want a decent D-pad, use a ps5 controller. It feels almost the same in your hand as a regular pro controller with a much better D-pad.
You could have easily gotten the world record if you didn't get distracted by all the D:

I don't think that second level really meant to be awful. I think the creator probably tried to make a good puzzle and just failed.

Oh my goodness. That level where you need the banger to win was one of THE dumbest levels I've ever seen. You have essentially no hope of beating that level without the program. Absolutely stupid.
