- Our Seabourn Cruise to Alaska has come to an end. What an unbelievable week it has been onboard the Seabourn Odyssey! As we leave the ship in Juneau we rent a Turo to visit some of our favorite places in Juneau before catching a quick 90 minute flight home to Anchorage.
Thank you to everyone who has followed along on this Seabourn cruise journey! This was our 13th cruise and easily the best one yet!

The little furry friends were Marmots. We see them all over Denali and Hatcher Pass every summer. They make a cute little sound too😊

We were at the exact shrine that you went to in Juneau. We also saw the little “ground squirrel thing” and our family named him Fred. We took many pictures of him and when we saw him on your vlog, the kids started screaming out, “there’s Fred! He’s famous!” We have not been able to figure out what type of animal he is. Our closest guess is a marmot. Thanks for your videos! You’ve made us want to sail Seabourne.

I can’t believe this cruise is over. Reliving Alaska through your vlog has brought me more joy than I can express. I have already started looking for Iceland and UK cruises. Seabourn is solo friendly, and I mainly cruise solo. Thanks for sharing this amazing cruise line, your adventures, awesome meals, your gorgeous dinner attire, and your company. I’ve watched hundreds of Alaska videos but this is by far the best one out there. Thank you. Enjoy being back at home.

Love the trip videos!!! When we were in Juneau ( on a princess cruise), earlier in May we rented a car and did the shrine. So thankful you shared that information in a previous Alaska cruise video. It made our day in Juneau 100% better.

Love all the book stores. We don’t even have a Barnes and Noble. I love being able to go into a book store and just be grabbed by a cover and then finding a new favorite.
The Holland America Zaandam arrived later on. The Carnival ship moved out of the way and dropped anchor in the middle of the channel which allowed the Zaandam to park. (Carnival guests had to then tender) We watched it all happen while eating lunch on the Odyssey at the amazing buffet.

We used Holland America for our cruise to Alaska. But we did one of their cruise tours also. we were on the ship for 3 nights. The tour was another 9 days.
I have to unpack as soon as I'm home.

I think it was during mid-week that I went online to see if I could get a Seabourn cruise planned. The one that I really want to do is the final trip thru Alaska to places I haven't been & over to Japan. It looks amazing. I just worry SO BAD that I'd go even crazier 6 days at sea going across the Pacific. It's that last trip being made. Do you think after 30 yrs with Princess & most of the last 10 yrs in a mini-suite that I would find enough to do by myself? I'm not worried about the food - what y'all showed as choices was amazing. I'm so used to the big shows, etc., and I don't know what I'd do without that kind of entertainment at night. What's your opinion Sherry Beth as an employee to me (75 yrs southern lady) Princess Queen (LOL)!! Thanks for sharing your smiling faces & entertaining stories this past week with all of us.
