My experience with Brother printer is more reliable. Paper loading method of Brother is also very convenient. All Ink jet printers infamous for for their short life but Brother printer last for much more time compared to Epson printer. Print quality of both printers is same. In my opinion printing speed doesn't matter much. I prefer Brother printer.

820 looks better in specs obviously because it's more expensive and i think it also has duplex
