Beautiful! I love that the actress for this role is actually Indigenous and Deaf in real life. 😍 Representation is so important. I'm sure she's had acting coaches but she must have had a lot of natural talent even before that to land this role with no experience. Also hat's off to the interviewers for talking directly to their guest and not the interpreter. Love it!
She’s deaf and a amputee. ALSO a Native American so she blows so many stigmas out the window. Her performance in Echo was so damn amazing. If some hate on it, it’s because there’s a weird Marvel hate train by adults acting like high school kids. She was great and that’s it.
She is a really good actor better than a lot of people that have experience. For her first acting role too. Hope to see her in the future cause she seems really sweet

Well said. There IS.a weird Marvel hatred that festers in the heart of Right-wing extremists. These racists can't handle the joy of Disney bringing diversity, equity and inclusion into its storytelling. These trolls long to go backward to a time when stories centered whiteness, that way they can comfortably ignore histories of oppressed people. Being woke challenges them to confront their racism and seems to be more than their fragile egos can bear. People of goodwill understand WOKE is a compliment. Telling stories with diverse cast and crew more fully reflects humanity's rich tapestry. And Alaqua Cox is a badass beauty.
You can tell she's just over the moon about this whole experience. Disney and Marvel have taken a lot of heat recently, and while much of it is justified, big props to them for going all in learning about the Choctaw and also the whole cast and crew for learning sign language to make her experience as genuine and seamless as possible.
She is a good actress and also it was nice haliee seinfield and jermeny to learn basic asl to communicate with her
David Mack co-created Echo and his art for her origin story was crazy great!
The Echo story in the comics was incredible. It was written and Drawn by David Mack
Why do these talk shows never mention the comic book writer and artist who created these characters. Echo was created by Joe Quesada and David Mack

I love black panther, but this sci-fic superhero is my favorite. It's pretty darn good. Surprisingly, even if there was a drama, I didn't find it boring at all. The acting is just right and a very interesting culture. I love how realistic the main character acts, it is just really a great TV show that should be on a big screen. This show deserves more recognition. I feel like it was underestimated. It was a great show.

We, the Deaf people of the Deaf Community living with the hearing people of this blue-white giant marbled, Earth 🌍, would LOVE to SEE Echo Season 2 & beyond ‼️❣️ I don’t care 🤷🏽♂️ what the Critics think 🤔 💭 & say that Echo ISN’T a good Disney+ Marvel series. These critics need to blend with the real Deaf World 🌎 & understand that any deaf 🧏🏽♂️ person will want a deaf superheroine‼️ it’s logical that Marvel has a blind superhero known as Daredevil. Therefore Deaf people WILL WANT another seasoned series & beyond ‼️ She’s Alaqua Cox IS, I mean, really IS an INSPIRATION to the Deaf community worldwide 🌍❣️
