About 1/3 of this was just Swerve Strickland because he's amazing. Thanks for showing the WMD match- that was one of my favourite matches from LU season 3, and the one that really sold me on both Strickland (wrestling as Killshot) and Martin Casaus (Marty the Moth) as great talents.
That feud and blow off match was good, however my favorite of swerves matches in LU was with AR fox and their blow off match in that 3 stages of hell bloodbath was insane and i was happy killshot won
Because WWE are incapable of making new stars, they want to safely coast along the starpower of the likes of Reigns, Lesnar, Goldberg and whenever they DO try to make a new star, they get cold feet and take away the star potential that wrestler could have and drop them back down to midcard or something.
@@aggressiveattitudeera887 AJ Styles is pretty much a big star on his own outside of the WWE before he signed up, if it makes sense, I'm talking about the guys who get signed to WWE with great promises only to end up floundering later on and not get used.
I need to correct a commenter here. 1/3 of this is Swerve AND 16 year old, AEW signed (but can't compete on TV until he's 18) Nick Wayne. Be on the lookout for him because he's only getting better.
Yeah, there were a lot of clips of that match. But there was also equal amount of additional stuff from Swerve in Lucha Underground, which is probably what the original commenter was referring to.
close to half being Swerve, and yes Nick Wayne is gonna be great as he gets older but I think Swerve was commented about specifically because alot of the clips were from that Nick Wayne match AS WELL as his Lucha Underground match against Marty where he wrestled as Killshot.
It's amazing how smooth swerve has gotten, i remember him from czw and he's a totally different wrestler now. that match with nick wayne is early candidate for match of the year.
5:28 Thanks for showing a segment of The Colony. I completely forgot about those guys. Does anyone know if they're still a stable, or did they break up?
Broke up. Fire Ant is currently wrestling in AEW as Orange Cassidy. Green Ant II and Thief Ant seems still to be wrestling as a team but they're not original members, as they only joined Colony in 2018.
0:13 This show LOOKED DOPE. But it was $40 FOR ADMISSION!!! Which is just way too expensive for me at the time. Especially for that venue that looked closer to a Highschool gym than a "Stadium".
I do think John and Pulse need to calm down a bit on commentary. They kinda have to be professional now and they still laugh at crazy spots like they're playing Fire Pro
@@joshuajune3024 I feel you. I guess for me, I feel like it takes away from the impact of the moves and they mean less. Then, why ever sell an Irish whip if you are making it obvious that it has no real effect, by which I mean stopping in the middle of running back. Like, why sell one ever again if you just exposed it doesn't have any real effect? Just my opinion, though, friend.
4:50 - Fat clumsy shitters are not "OMG" material. Absolute carnies. Always had a lot of respect for Killshot though. His work under the Swerve persona? Not so much.
Is Swerve the same guy that injured Matt sydals brother in czw? Did some insane avalanche flipping facebuster that completely KOed him and broke some bones.
@ 2:32 was possibly the worst tombstone ive ever seen in my life. Whoever the asshole was that gave that did not give a shit about his opponent. Literally he just let go and didn't take any weight off the guys body, pathetic.

got to see swerve perform live in my hometown once. he’s been in my top 3 since his killshot days so getting a chance to see him live was just amazing
That feud and blow off match was good, however my favorite of swerves matches in LU was with AR fox and their blow off match in that 3 stages of hell bloodbath was insane and i was happy killshot won
The match between Fenix and Marty ( where the former was bleeding profusely when Marty used scissors to wound him) was the best imo.
Still wondering how WWE screwed Strickland up. The guy is literally a star in every sense of the word. HOW could you mess that up?
Cuz its Vince that's why.

Lucha Underground is criminally underrated
That shooting star into that knee strike made me actually say oh my god lol
1:20 for the lazy…and I had the same reaction.
Omg!
The jaw met the knee in the most painful way possible
You know it's serious when Lucha Underground is in the thumbnail
Calvin Tankman vs Blake Christian was match of the night for DPW You Already Know and that Spinning Sit-out Powerbomb though the door was so sick

That Nick Wayne match with Swerve was so good. Buddy Wayne must be damn proud.

No lie. Jus recently heard of swerve. To see him other places other than WWE. I'm impressed
The knee slide DDT was fucking dope
lol half of this was just Shane Strickland, either as Sw3rve or as Killshot, and im cool with that completely.
Pwg-mystery vortex 7: That first shot tho...jaw got introduced to the knee in the most devastating fashion
