They would then hack another account and do the same thing. (the said hacker would almost always queue up with the same two people.) The process he went through to get it back was ridicolous, despite the massive amounts of proof we had to prove his account was hacked, riot practically just didn't care. Only when my mates and I all put in tickets to be like "hey what are you doing to fix this?" was my friends accounts reinstated and even then they refused to look into it.

It is quite a big challenge to code something like this. So if you are really into the game I can some imagine that it is a really fun and engaging exercise to code this aimassist. Ethically it is wrong and I would not do it. But I can see the appeal from a coders perspective as it beeing a challenge. If he doesn't sell it he is not there for just money but maybe for pure interest which I think is more honorable.

A long time ago back when i was in gold/plat elo. I queued into a duo playing ahri and kalista who were both running scripts. At first i thought maybe they were just really good but over the course of the 40 minute game other teammates started to realise how the ahri never missed a single ability all game. Same with kalista, she absolutely destroyed us in bot lane (our ashe was a diamond smurf) and luckily for us scripters can't dodge auto attacks and ashe was able to carry us to a win in the end. Definitely was an experience.
I faced a scripter the other day, im pretty sure on Thresh. He wasn't hitting alot of skill shots, but he would be chasing me and whenever I shot a q backwards, and he was at max range, his character would start vibrating almost like he was spam clicking toward me, and the script was spam clicking away. It looked like he was just spinning at a super fast speed and the skillshot would barely miss him.
People will find a way anyway to cheat in games. No matter how many times they will get banned/punished but yeah, nonetheless Riot has to step up their game with punishing cheaters.

That is clear sabotage and griefing but we all know they won't get banned. Realistically riot only bans racists and people who use slurs nothing else it's so annoying.
Currently riot's autosystems seemed tuned mostly on how many people report. That's the main time you get the instant feedback. Other than that some more blatant people eventually get the boot but they're slacking.

On time a Morgana support told me to kms, after match I told em the x9 the morgana for saying it and I got chat banned because even having the initials kms in chat can get you banned. I was so pissed to the point I just laughed, since then I play with a muted all chat.
My main was banned for "use of third party software" and I don't even know where you even get scripts. I get reported every game for dodging every skill shot and barely missing my own.

Even if they can still just make another account, a portion of them will eventually start to realise it's not worth the effort to keep repeating the same process all over again multiple times. I report somebody almost every other game. Theres a LOT of toxicity, and theres almost always someone who deserves at least a chat ban. Only once a month do I get the feedback that says "a player was punished from your report bla bla blah"

I feel like we could give them slack because it is a game with millions with players, but honestly the game will keep being like this unless changes are made. i know some things that can be so much better like the report system or the amount of bans a team can have. Tbf they really dont need to fix a lot at one time. They just need to fix SOMETHING. They havent fixed any of the bugs, they havent fixed their ban/report system, they havent found a way to stop cheaters, they havent fixed LP gain/loss, they havent fixed matchmaking. They just need to fix ONE of these things and it will be positive. but theyre trying to "improve" everything at once and breaking it all at the same time.
I feel like the issue is that they need to legally comply with law in 30-something countries. + we are talking about multicultural sport. In euw you can feel the difference when you get certain nationalities in your teams. The mindset is different. (Not naming examples to not get pointed as a offensive or whatever). In NA it feels the same way as I imagine people in the club. There are 6 people dancing having fun. 2 trying to score chicks. One snorted 6 lines of coke and now is breakdancing on the bar. And then there is always that one motherfucker, who has drunk more than he weighs so now he naturally needs to find someone to argue with. And exactly like in real life - if he is alone, you can kind of ignore him for a while till shuts up or gets thrown out (reported after game). But if there is 2 if them, then the whole party is ruined for everyone. Riot should man up and purge the system. They are scared of losing revenue if people will quit for system being too harsh. But the thing they don't understand is that the dedicated playerbase will invest more if we get rid of asshats in the community. They are looking for quantity over quality (always have been). I could fix ranked in 1 year with a team of people who can code. I have asked them like 20 times via tickets to see if there is any viable reason why they haven't done it yet. And they legit just say that it's not a priority at the moment. Sure, make more skins for no one to buy as no one enjoys actual experience of playing the game. Personally, I am waiting for game to die out so I could enjoy it (and I'm euw master, so not even bitching cuz I'm bad). It's ridiculous that getting rank has no meaning and thus it means different things to different people. There are 3 easy fixes to be implemented and all the problems would be gone. But I guess the client is not stable enough to pull that through. Nah, you can give them slack but I won't. They've invested an insane amount of money into making an animated Netflix premiered show, working on an MMO, made a FPS "CS-like" game and made TFT as well as legends of runeterra. If they can take on numerous projects of those sizes while still handling league then it's not a question of "do they have the resources/man power to fix the very obvious and simple problems facing league's playerbase?" The question is "Why haven't they done anything sooner and what is preventing them from doing anything now?" and the answer to that question is: Nothing is preventing them from fixing these blatant and simple problems. If the small ass team that was working on Heroes of the Storm can manage toxicity within their playerbase and ban people who ruin games at a reasonable rate than so can Riot games who has 200x the budget they had. I think the reason Riot hasn't been doing anything about these issues should be pretty obvious by now. It's the reasons I stated above. They've chosen to diversify their revenue streams instead of trying to fix League. Notice how they can spam out champions every 2 months or so and a new skin line to go with it yet not a peep or legitimate action or step taken to addressing these issues of griefers/inters/cheaters. They don't care because they've chosen their path and League's player base is being used to, in part, help fund it through skin purchases.

I think there's two things that would help change it... #1... Encourage people to spend money on this game. You do NOT want to be named when you've sunk $300-$600 in a game over 6 years. You hold your tongue. You focus to win when it gets hard. Your don't throw a fit and temper tantrum and run it down. You've got too much invested. #2 Banning needs to be more sophisticated. It needs to work when you report, and it needs to not be abusable when people just troll report you, or you have a bad game and people click report. Outside of that... It needs to work. When people can trust that their valued account will get shutdown... They will straighten up.

No there isn't. Smurfs can't last long, because they'd rank up so fast until they get near their true abilities. It can only last a long time if two people exclusively play with each other, where one player is significantly better than another. But even then it won't last forever, because the good player will very quickly reach a point where even though he beats everybody else in the game, he still can't win.

riot for some reason don't immediately ban the players that script or cheat cause they want to talk to them and ask how they cheated and find a way to notice the cheat and then eradicate it on sight.
The only bans Rito have ever given out are for saying naughty words in chat. It's because they can have a bot scan chat and auto-ban people that say bad things, which requires almost zero man hours and therefore zero cost. Meanwhile, scripters, inters, wintraders, etc get away with it day after day, account after account. If Rito started banning these people, and letting the chat abusers roam free, I GUARENTEE the game would become less toxic. Chances are, if someone is saying something bad in chat, it's because someone else in the game is flagrantly cheating, inting, wintrading, or afking and they know Rito will do nothing about it. There's a reason why Faker went on record saying the quality in solo queue is so low, but never ONCE mentioned chat. It's because anyone who is even remotely invested in the game would choose to be surrounded by flamers 24 hours a day 7 days a week than spend a single game with a soft inting JGler who declares the game over at 3min and runs it down mid.
They do ban scripters, just not immediately every time. They want to use them to track down other scripters and to track the different scripts so that they can get more data on them
You have to understand that every game no matter what will have cheaters. Reverse engineering is insanely complicated, but the reward is huge. Valorant cheats for example go for over $1000 per month and once you figure it out once it’s very easy to maintain. Independent Reverse engineers will always be smarter and better than those who work for Riot, Epic, etc.. The only way to prevent cheating comes at the expense of sacrificing user experience. No company will ever do that.
Riot games still havent answered about my hacked account i think it has been 6 years or something like that! When i was a kid i got hacked. I filled their formula or whatever in so precisely with help from my mother. Even the credit card i had bought skins on, my first purschase, location where it was created on, first password. Everything like that, Riot still didnt havent answered.

Riot really doesn't put any care into their game. 2 or 3 days ago Ranked queue went down in NA because of "technical issues", yet ranked queue was still up and I proceeded to win two games, yet I lost 45 LP.
Riot better look at this player after DL did this. Of that player isn't banned I'll make a support ticket on my account about them. If riot doesn't ban them then I'll quit.

On time a Morgana support told me to kms, after match I told em the x9 the morgana for saying it and I got chat banned because even having the initials kms in chat can get you banned. I was so pissed to the point I just laughed, since then I play with a muted all chat.
My main was banned for "use of third party software" and I don't even know where you even get scripts. I get reported every game for dodging every skill shot and barely missing my own.

Even if they can still just make another account, a portion of them will eventually start to realise it's not worth the effort to keep repeating the same process all over again multiple times. Like you said, they still have to buy/make another account, level it all the way up again, rank all the way up again, each time they get banned.

Riot turned the funnest game I ever played into the worst experience I could ever have playing games. I have had people openly talk about just buying alts and throwing games and I say they are shitty people for that kind of behavior and they get no ban and I get a chat ban for telling them they are shitty. Might as well be a chinese company only punishing people that stand up for themselves.

I feel like we could give them slack because it is a game with millions with players, but honestly the game will keep being like this unless changes are made. i know some things that can be so much better like the report system or the amount of bans a team can have. Honestly riot can be so much better if they decided to not even work on champs preseason but fix the game in terms of functionality

Tbf they really dont need to fix a lot at one time. They just need to fix SOMETHING. They havent fixed any of the bugs, they havent fixed their ban/report system, they havent found a way to stop cheaters, they havent fixed LP gain/loss, they havent fixed matchmaking. They just need to fix ONE of these things and it will be positive. but theyre trying to "improve" everything at once and breaking it all at the same time.
That won't happen, they gotta keep those profits up.
I feel like the issue is that they need to legally comply with law in 30-something countries. + we are talking about multicultural sport. In euw you can feel the difference when you get certain nationalities in your teams. The mindset is different. (Not naming examples to not get pointed as a offensive or whatever). In NA it feels the same way as I imagine people in the club. There are 6 people dancing having fun. 2 trying to score chicks. One snorted 6 lines of coke and now is breakdancing on the bar. And then there is always that one motherfucker, who has drunk more than he weighs so now he naturally needs to find someone to argue with. And exactly like in real life - if he is alone, you can kind of ignore him for a while till shuts up or gets thrown out (reported after game). But if there is 2 if them, then the whole party is ruined for everyone.
Riot should man up and purge the system. They are scared of losing revenue if people will quit for system being too harsh. But the thing they don't understand is that the dedicated playerbase will invest more if we get rid of asshats in the community. They are looking for quantity over quality (always have been). I could fix ranked in 1 year with a team of people who can code. I have asked them like 20 times via tickets to see if there is any viable reason why they haven't done it yet. And they legit just say that it's not a priority at the moment. Sure, make more skins for no one to buy as no one enjoys actual experience of playing the game. Personally, I am waiting for game to die out so I could enjoy it (and I'm euw master, so not even bitching cuz I'm bad). It's ridiculous that getting rank has no meaning and thus it means different things to different people.
There are 3 easy fixes to be implemented and all the problems would be gone. But I guess the client is not stable enough to pull that through. Let's add aram misions so bronze 4 can lock in Brand and feel good about himself after pressing R 20 times as that gives him Aram Challenger achievement. 😀 rant over. Sorry
Nah, you can give them slack but I won't. They've invested an insane amount of money into making an animated Netflix premiered show, working on an MMO, made a FPS "CS-like" game and made TFT as well as legends of runeterra. If they can take on numerous projects of those sizes while still handling league then it's not a question of "do they have the resources/man power to fix the very obvious and simple problems facing league's playerbase?" The question is "Why haven't they done anything sooner and what is preventing them from doing anything now?" and the answer to that question is: Nothing is preventing them from fixing these blatant and simple problems. If the small ass team that was working on Heroes of the Storm can manage toxicity within their playerbase and ban people who ruin games at a reasonable rate than so can Riot games who has 200x the budget they had. I think the reason Riot hasn't been doing anything about these issues should be pretty obvious by now. It's the reasons I stated above. They've chosen to diversify their revenue streams instead of trying to fix League. Notice how they can spam out champions every 2 months or so and a new skin line to go with it yet not a peep or legitimate action or step taken to addressing these issues of griefers/inters/cheaters. They don't care because they've chosen their path and League's player base is being used to, in part, help fund it through skin purchases.
Plot twist: riot has an immune system to hacks, but only people who work at riot know how to break it, that's why riot doesn't punish them.

It's hard to be sure in league. In Valorant it's obvious and the Riot code shuts down the lobby and bans the player.

I think there's two things that would help change it...
#1... Encourage people to spend money on this game. You do NOT want to be named when you've sunk $300-$600 in a game over 6 years. You hold your tongue. You focus to win when it gets hard. Your don't throw a fit and temper tantrum and run it down. You've got too much invested.
#2 Banning needs to be more sophisticated. It needs to work when you report, and it needs to not be abusable when people just troll report you, or you have a bad game and people click report. Outside of that... It needs to work. When people can trust that their valued account will get shutdown... They will straighten up.

my biggest issue with ranked is that if someone refuses to play a role or tries to take yours, the only option is to dodge, and you lose LP.

No there isn't. Smurfs can't last long, because they'd rank up so fast until they get near their true abilities.
It can only last a long time if two people exclusively play with each other, where one player is significantly better than another. But even then it won't last forever, because the good player will very quickly reach a point where even though he beats everybody else in the game, he still can't win.

riot for some reason don't immediately ban the players that script or cheat cause they want to talk to them and ask how they cheated and find a way to notice the cheat and then eradicate it on sight.
The only bans Rito have ever given out are for saying naughty words in chat. It's because they can have a bot scan chat and auto-ban people that say bad things, which requires almost zero man hours and therefore zero cost. Meanwhile, scripters, inters, wintraders, etc get away with it day after day, account after account. If Rito started banning these people, and letting the chat abusers roam free, I GUARENTEE the game would become less toxic. Chances are, if someone is saying something bad in chat, it's because someone else in the game is flagrantly cheating, inting, wintrading, or afking and they know Rito will do nothing about it.
There's a reason why Faker went on record saying the quality in solo queue is so low, but never ONCE mentioned chat. It's because anyone who is even remotely invested in the game would choose to be surrounded by flamers 24 hours a day 7 days a week than spend a single game with a soft inting JGler who declares the game over at 3min and runs it down mid.

They do ban scripters, just not immediately every time. They want to use them to track down other scripters and to track the different scripts so that they can get more data on them
You have to understand that every game no matter what will have cheaters. Reverse engineering is insanely complicated, but the reward is huge. Valorant cheats for example go for over $1000 per month and once you figure it out once it’s very easy to maintain. Independent Reverse engineers will always be smarter and better than those who work for Riot, Epic, etc.. The only way to prevent cheating comes at the expense of sacrificing user experience. No company will ever do that.
Ban boosters/ shared accounts while they are at it but I wouldn’t expect riot to do anything about it

Riot games still havent answered about my hacked account i think it has been 6 years or something like that! When i was a kid i got hacked. I filled their formula or whatever in so precisely with help from my mother. Even the credit card i had bought skins on, my first purschase, location where it was created on, first password. Everything like that, Riot still didnt havent answered.

Literally yesterday had a yone who died every 60 secs, had 6 farm total, and had like 3 W in his match history where he did awful and his poor team carried the 4v5. He even admitted to de rank for fun. how many x9 reports needed to do something?
