Yes, for rice you shouldn't open the lid while it's cooking. The boys probably used a rice cooker their whole life and might not know... I cooked rice on the stove top for years and learned right away not to peek. Thankfully it worked out, I would have been so sad for Changbin if it had failed. ;_: ETA: Omg, my mind completely filled in the cliffhanger! I swear it ended with the rice coming out well, but it DIDN'T. It cut off! I feel completely insane now and I apologize for everything.

For most things where youre supposed to cook it covered you definitely should limit taking the top off lol its like an oven, if you open it, the heat thats cooking the food escapes and the space has to re-heat to continue cooking correctly
