Thank you! I don't particularly like using parametric eq's, in fact in the rig download for this video there's another rig where I used the graphic because it's easier, but sometimes parametrics are the best tool for the job.
@@MuckingAboutWithMyHeadrush thanks again. Would be interested in how you use the Graphic EQ to achieve a similar result. I do use graphic but for a solo boost post amp, just boosting the output and the mids a little. Works fine for me but that's about the limit of my know how
@@neilmorgan5707 That's basically all I did, download the rigs for this video from my website (link in description) the one called Gojira has the graphic, and a really mad whammy!
Can you control the PARA Q and Frequency from a volume pedal or something similar that will output MIDI or whatever the HR needs? Be cool to map the Q and Freq so the pedal can sweep up and down the freq spectrum. If you can invert the controller command you could have Q going down and Freq sweeping up..A twisted Wah Wah?
I'm so sorry I never saw this comment to reply.. I use Unity Audio Rocks Mk2 and Unity Audio Baby Rocks, these are superb studio monitors, but they are a bit expensive, I had to save a long time! Live I use a 4x12 and a Valve head with the Headrush going into the FX return.
Love your videos on this unit, just bought one and would have been lost without your video on how to plug into a standard amp!! Thank you brother!
Great vid. Para EQ has always been a bit of a mystery to me. Very well explained, I understood. Many thanks for sharing your knowledge

Yes...I use this since 2 year....changed the world
That is a fantastic rig and a great explanation of para EQ, thanks!
Thank you! :)
Wow.. This is so awesome info.. I never knew how to use a graphic eq. Thanks mate
That helped me understand the para metric
Learned loads as always. Thanks Steve!
i hope you can do more mucking with just breaking up tones..? to do similar to expand the amps as well.
why have i not got this already in my headrush
Great vid! Thanks for sharing. Sub’d

What monitors do you use btw? You always comment on how great things sound in your studio?
