Just starting to improvise (third time ever doing it!) and this is the first track were I can make something happen with. I mean, it still sounds like shit, but it's a start.
continue using pentatonics and train train train until you got something nice :P also try making some classic leaks, to about 10 or something and then use em in your impro (leaks=some small solos you will have learnt before doing your impro they can be quicker than the solo because obviously you won't have to think about em ;) ) good luck Improve :P
Ludo sadic hmmmm good plan. i've been able to play some kickass stuff doing that and most of my impros are generally 'moments of brilliance' coated in shit overall hahaha
the overdriven power chords that come in during what could be the chorus verse of the song is an excellent idea, and makes this a great track to play a Les Paul on--Brilliant!!
love the bass line especially when the power chords come in I felt the rhythm so well I didn't even need to look at what chords you were playing, this song has emotion!!!!
Thank you so much for uploading this. I am finding it really helpful. It is a really fun way to learn the way around the scale. After 20 years a finger picker I can now solo. Bless you, cheers.
Anyone looking to add a bit more flavour... try throwing in a bit of harmonic minor... thank me later! =) Awesome track.. really got into the zone with this.
This is one of the best backing tracks ever. Playing pentatonics and arpeggios together. This song motivates me to practice so hard on my improvising. Many thanks to you for your time and effort on putting up. I just love it. Too bad it wasn't longer. Like minutes or so. A million thank you's!!!!!!!
Over two years ago when I started playing Guitar this was my first BAcking Track I Jammed to, but i still find my to come back here ever so often two review my Journey on the Instrument, how I am getting better and stuff. It always reminds me of that Time not so long ago i struggled with this, but the simple A minor Pentatonik I used to play is branded in my head and it always feels me with Joy when I come back here and play the sam 5 Notes over and over. I love this Track. It gives me a kind of nostalgia even though it was only a little over two years. :)
This track helped me I create a few killer riffs I’m totally going to use elsewhere. We should totally do a n improv contest for the best riffs for this track.
Really really great Jam track for the past few months I've improvised so many good sounding lean and such even with an acoustic guitar especially I should say all of the Jam tracks of yours that I've heard I've been absolute coolness
THE LORD GOD WILL BLESS YOU WITH YOUR TALENT ON THE GUITAR. Keep practicing, keep your head up. You are able to do ALL THINGS THREW YESHUA ADONIA WHO STRENGTHENS you.
I have love in my heart for you , because once I was you. but then a cloud lifted from my eyes. I let down the walls I built around my self from being hurt and abused as an adult. And I became a child again. And that daddy that we all yearn for inside, he came to me. I was adopted by God ( wow _ seriously ) Jesus loves you, and you dont even know what love is.
frajer313 I'm sorry ur so bitter. Perhaps life has dished u lemons. Its up to u how u deal with bitterness. You can choose to allow the bitterness to consume u like a cancer slowly eating at you from inside out. Which is y ur response to this posting was just uncalled for, grow up. When u r drifting alone some day I wonder whi will u cry out to save you. Why were u even checking any of this out? Why did u post? I think ur curious and thats good..now I can pray for u . Hey man, this is awesome backing track! I've been playing guitar for 15 years but only rhytm. Never really got into solo's but this is just the nicest and easiest track to practice your scales and start pulling some small licks! Awesome!
This is my 'go to' backtrack when practicing the A Pentatonic blues scale. Hauntingly beautiful.

Ludo sadic modes sound good as well try some dorian mixed with pentatonic licks
Man, I bet even Slash or Stevie Ray sounded like shit on their third ever improvisation. You'll get there.
Mr. Fof. I dunno the dorian scale yet. What is the pattern?
the best backing track that I found here
MAN! I wrote one of the best solos ever with this back track. Thank you so much it was an inspiration

One of the best backing tracks I have used! Thank you for this excellent service!
This is an incredibly haunting, moving piece. My número uno backtrack in A minor.
This is without question is one of the best tracks I've ever heard! Especially at 1.25 speed, SO GOOOD! Great work on these music tracks!!!

Love this track. It is so fun to play along with and make up words too it. Soo Funnnn Thanks.
Sound pretty sad with a harmonica in C. Really nice song.
Am i the only one here that thinks this is similar to The House Of The Rising sun?
You're not alone, house of the rising sun is in a minor
That was the first thing that came to mind for me
First 3 seconds, exactly what I thought
No, you're not!
thought the same thing
I was thinking House of the rising sun even before I read that last sentence. Good track. Gave me lots of ideas for new approaches to A minor lead.
This could be my life background music some days.
Vraiment très beau backing track pour se faire la main sur des solos... C'est ce que je joue en concert en ce moment. Merci beaucoup.
