Thanks for posting this! I look forward to riding here soon. My knees hurt just watching your buddy mash on the pedals on those climbs. He may find it easier to downshift and spin up the climbs at a higher cadence.
I razz him all the time to downshift, he does better now a days. My latest video he was doing good on the climbs and still catching it in the comments, hahaha.
one of my goals in life is to make it all the way through ridgeline without taking a break. My first time i contemplated living in the woods because I was just too tired to continue.
Thanks! its a Hero7 1080/60, protune +1ev. I pull the highlights and black down (to get good midtone color data) and add saturation and shift the yellow green color to a more green green. Export 1440 quad HD. I hope that makes some sense.
Tell your buddy riding, in front of you, to stay on his seat and stop always standing. He will be a better mtb rider gettiing more traction on those steep climbs
I send him screen shots of everyone that rips his climbing abilities. I find great joy in it. We've had people say, seriously, "I can't tell if you guys hate each other or not" for the level of chirping we do. Keep 'em coming!
I wouldn't say for a beginner. But you have riding experience, so you should be fine. You might have to wait a few months now though, its closed from all the rain. But the other trails there are great too.
@inbermswetrust I decided to stick to the green trails and leave the more advanced routes for later once I get a bit more experience. Just came off the trail a few hours ago, and I really like how they're all interconnected with plenty of signage so you're aware of your location. This will definitely be one of my more frequented trails. Thanks
Tell your friend SHIFTING is FREE and it has a purpose
Screenshot sent. He's better nowadays, but I still gotta remind him it's not a BMX bike.

I hope you accomplish that and more! I just want to ride a 1/4 mile trail without stopping lol
YO! nice vid capture of Ridgeline what settings did you use and what camera, thanks bro. The view of the trail optimal kept me engaged.

Do you think this trail would be suitable for a beginner? I have years of road cycling, but thought I'd give mtb a try. Nice video btw!
