Another super vlog & piece of storytelling... thoroughly enjoying the winter journey. Great photos. A brilliant way to showcase the area... The Norwegian Tourist Board would do well to use your footage... with permission & recompense of course. Keep up the great work Oddbjørn Looking forward to Part III 👍🏻Bezt Wishes Stay Safe David
Thanks a lot David! I have a few episodes left, only hoping to get them finished before the spring arrives haha! Thanks again and stay safe yourself mate!
You tell inspiring stories in your words but also in your pictures, and with such a beautiful subject - the hills & the oxen - you create something magical. Thank you.
I love all you share ... Beautiful images with an amazing heart felt story line. You gentleman are such great people for sharing so others can experience your talent, emotions and experience. 🇨🇦♥️❣
It's an enjoyable experience watching your videos, your gift of story-telling is unmatched, and the photos always complement your words perfectly...looking forward to part three !
Great video, Oddbjørn! I'm sure it was a very memorable moment to witness. And the sweat freezing under your clothes? Man, I'm shuddering.. All the best and stay safe!
Great storytelling as ever...your joy and elation at seeing and photographing hese fabulous looks animals was so evident.. ...superb footage and images Oddbjorn in what really is a winter wonderland for sure.. at times bleak but beautiful. Loved it. Alan
I loved this video..I especially liked that some of it was in Norwegian. As an English speaker we are spoiled by people from different cultures who are not native English speakers doing their videos in English. I think we loose something by not seeing and hearing a place. As an Indigenous person I always say part of Indigenous peoples being on the land brings the language of the land out so it can be heard. I think you did that in this video, brought the voice and images of beautiful Norway to the viewers. Miigwetch.
Many thanks Peter. Maybe I'll think about dropping more segments in Norwegian to break things up a bit. Intersting thought though, about the language of the land, I think you're right. Thanks again, or tusen takk!
Really fun to watch this, your enthusiasm is inspiring! And I had no idea that the musk ox is most closely related to goats. I’m just as surprised as when I learned the hyena is a kind of cat 😮
Man that was so good to watch! Really enjoying your process on the storytelling 😊 the video was beautiful and loved what you got... had to laugh at a few of the clips of me tho 😅
Fantastic pictures, I live in Dombås and dream of being able to take pictures like yours, we have seen them in the summer but have not been lucky enough to photograph them in the winter. Love your vloggs.
Simply superb my friend! This video had me captivated from start to end, absolutely wonderful work! Had me dreaming of doing this myself one day (it’s added to my rather long bucket list). Mind you, I didn’t like the look of that golden plover either, scary 😬😂! Sam
Haha! Worse. It froze to death. Had to buy a new one, actually bought two. I’m not even sure why there were sound at all someplaces. Most of the clips had nothing!
Great to see these Muskoxes Oddbjörn. What I been told there should bee a small group of animals living in Sweden that one's emigrated from Norway but they are rare too see and find. Was 300mm enough you think or do you need Bazookas like the other had?
Thanks a lot for watching Mats. I've heard about the sweedish animals as well. The 300mm is on a crop sensor (micro four thirds) so actually it would be the same as a 600mm on a full format camera. I'm very happy how the photographs turned out on the crop sensor (GH5). My other camera (S1) is a full format camera and I used the 200mm on that one.
brilliant story oddbjørn! very much looking forward to the next episode. will the show you film for the norwegian tv also be available to watch outside norway?
Thanks as always Chris. Regarding the TV question, not yet. But a version of the show are the videos I post on UA-cam. The format is a bit different and of course the language, but the story remains the same most of the time! Currently watching your critique :)
Flot videofortælling. Du bør have 100-400/f.4.0 til din GH8. Bare et godt stykke værktøj for dit superbe arbejde! Jeg er meget glad for min 100-400. Dyr, men værd alle penge! Hygge!
"Not yet buddy" ;) Thanks for another great video and for sharing this wonderful experience with us!
Hehe, thought I could poke some fun about my constant narration :) Thanks buddy!
Oh my gosh, the sunset on those animals was breath taking. What an amazing memory for you!
Thank you. Yes, it sure was. On the next day it was even better :) thanks for watching!
This is so fun. I'm glad you have the two cameras for this work. What wonderful shots. I'm excited for the next part.
Many thanks Sean. glad you enjoy the videos!

Many many thanks Sam! Very kind. I’ll be your guide if you two come over 🙂 That golden plover nearly was the end of me. Still haunts my dreams!!
@@oddbjrnaustevikfoto That would be amazing! Perhaps we could take on those evil plovers together, strength in numbers!
Awesome!👍👍
Thanks Terry!
