- How is a beginner supposed to get started learning machine learning? I'm going to describe a free 3 month curriculum to help you go from beginner to well-versed in modern machine learning. Transformers, Diffusers, Large Language Models, and dozens of new ML Ops tools have been released the past few years! The field of ML has changed so much and there are so many new tools to learn. Using the help of AI services, we can learn a lot faster than usual. This learning plan is something I'd create for myself if I were to get started today, but I'm going to open source it for you guys. This curriculum will cover all the math concepts, machine learning, deep learning, ML Ops, and tons of cool projects to get you up to speed with the field as fast as possible. If anyone asks how to best get started with machine learning, direct them to this video!

Thank you for coming back!!!
thank u ..
your efforts are highly appreciated 🙏
Nice to see you again! Thanks for the video
So glad I found this man, what a legend.
You needed the break. Keep going sir!
Hi Siraj, when you stated "beginner", does this come with specific caveats of prerequisite knowledge; e.g. coding / programming, mathematics, engineering, et al?
WOW! This is just great, Siraj! I am in!
Thanks for the informative vid! Do you think it needs an update with all the changes the field has seen these past months?
Welcome back, missed you!!!
Welcome Back, Siraj 🎉 Good to see you again! ❤
dude, your channel is amazing! thanks for all the knowledge you share!
Welcome back,we missed you man☺
Hey Siraj, great video. I've wanted to learn about this topic for a while. I'm 60, been a professional auctioneer since 1991 and it's time to teach this ole dog some new tricks. I've seen the advancement in my industry in the last 30 years and I believe that ai and machine learning can take this industry to the next level. I'm excited about going through your course. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO Siraj! -AAA
The man is back lesgoooo 🔥
Welcome back, Siraj!
Thanks, bro😊
Welcome back Bhayya!!!!
Every human earn a second chance in his life from his mistakes. I very happy to see back with new content after a while in this channel.
In 2023 hope you to see with inspiring innovation things.
Thanks for sharing, bastante información valiosa muy clara.
Gracias
Welcome back Siraj
Sounds awesome let's make it
Nice video. Thanks
How much time is needed on a weekly basis to fullfill the training? Is it like 8h a week or more?
Did anyone finish this course already? I am planning to start the course now. Appreciate your inputs
lets start together...i am just taking today
Great thanks 😎👍
Your videos are always inspirational. Very nice to see you again Siraj, please keep up your great work!
Welcome back! We missed you. Your videos really helped me out during grad school!
Right this looks like a good plan!
I'm currently a Product Manager and I'm looking to transition to an AI Product Manager role. Does your curriculum provide the necessary skills and knowledge for this transition? Thank you
your back!!
lezzz go can't wait!!!! Hello Raj
Welcome back Siraj ,
So excited :)
Welcome back Siraj, your vibe was missing for a long time.. No one could replace your Deep learning short videos.
Yeah, we can choose to live like find mistake in everyone, never forget them every hour, every minute, take a chance to hurt one every time they appear, make sure my life is not going well keep holding that burning constant pain in middle of my heart and others life should not go peace as well. Let's not use Microsoft Windows or Apple iOS Mac as it was copied from Xerox corp, let's not take India's covid vaccine because it was made of big IP infringement in 70s and let us not use electricity as it was an unethical practice from Edison. My mom made a mistake I will make my own food now on. My dad claimed I am all his work , I will go on a fight all of my life , I dont need his savings or the properties I would have inherited originally. Everyone in the earth is bad, hey elon musk when is the next flight to mars?
Or Take a deep breadth and find good in everyone.. Whether you credit someone or not, nothing in the world is your original work in the subatomic part level. Dont weigh anyone on their past, Smile at everyone and enjoy your one life.
You choose.
Missed you man
Pls siraj Im about to start my masters program in data science i dont know much about it ,just started learning Python through some sites..I’m curious cos I’m a new learner any advice or hint or you have any website that can put me through so i can start self study before I start the program
bht maza de rhy ap sir
Thank you for inspriting me. Keep up with the good work @siraj
Great to see you back…looking forward to checking this out 👍
Thanks you so much for this beautiful information. I will do it!, Happy new year Siraj, I wish you the best!
Letsgoo siraj
I am learning from scratch and then I am going to work with different tools, PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow, YOLO etc.
Looking forward to a new music video. Any chance you are working on some new lyrics? Will get started with the new course. And maybe having some videos introducing gpt3 would be good also.
Definitely working on some new lyrics
Welcome back
Hey,
Would you recommend this for a complete n00b? Want to start getting into this since but not sure how to start...
He is setting the expectation way too high, it will definitely not take 3 months, maybe +2 years, but don't get discouraged, just be realistic
just as i was laying in bath and thinking i'd like to study pytorch
i have a question, how fast will it go obsolete?
my iOS skills have gone down the toilet, it seems...
SwiftUI made it too accessible, ChatGPT will take all the UI and animations jobs (what i specialized in)
and i cant find a job in Russia, its been 4 months already
p.s. good to know you are healthy and well
Dude! You're back! You do podcast interviews still? Asking for a friend
Yes I do, I plan to start doing them more regularly
Hi Siraj, nice to see you again, doing what you do well, helping people to learn
Is there a place I can get the solutions to the exercises/quizzes in Week 1? It would be tough doing this without ever getting solutions.
sorry, i could've been more specific here. the solution is this colab notebook colab.research.google.com/github/AllenDowney/DSIRP/blob/main/notebooks/pagerank.ipynb . just step through it and make sure to read each part
Welcome back, long time no see you, definitely great stuff as always
Lesssgooo!!! 🎉
Quality video
Love your videos, your body language, your skills are amazing …❤❤❤❤
Hey Siraj, I have a question: "Are you going to do weekly releases on this curriculum or is the curriculum the core of this video?"
I am so happy to see this project!
I am super eager to learn!!!
Thank you very much
this is the only core video. i will also do weekly videos again, but on other topics
Good to see you back. I learned AI from you and was able to put it into practice at work. Thank you!
Machine learning roles are hard to come by and are filled by knowledgeable people. I say this because Saraj was the reason I studied post-graduate at a university. It's honestly a tuff industry to get into unless you are former in saying that; good to see you back.
so you don't recommend studying it for getting a job?
i did a quick search and there is not many jobs in Russia, my iOS dev skills not needed anymore there, so im trying to come up with a pivot plan
@@denisblack9897 сочувствую
@@denisblack9897 how come your dev skills are not needed?
Machine learning is centered around specific jobs. For instance, you won't be doing machine learning for biological sciences as someone in the industry, I.e., Biological science would learn machine learning to enhance their trade. So machine learning is more of a tool to add to a specific career pathway. For instance, a psychologist would use semantic analysis to analyze Twitter feeds, but they would learn how to do that themselves. If you know of uses for machine learning that relates to Dev OPS, then I would recommend learning it. Your best bet is to look up machine learning jobs in your country and see what skills they need and then decide if machine learning is for you.
@@denisblack9897 look into data engineering instead. They set up the environments for data scientists. Get your foot in the door then study data science aka machine learning
Nice to see you're leveraging existing resources.
Unfortunately, as often, the path is chuck-full of fashionable tools that are, IMO, unnecessary. And only worth learning to put them on the résumé.
Yes brands come and go, math is eternal.
@@SirajRaval Math is forever. I wish I understood its significance earlier.
Please what are the tools that are fashionable but unnecessary?
is that an oura ring? looks like ure rly getting into self improvement, im glad u look ure doing well
Yes I love my oura and thanks!
Most people will not be able to do your recommended curriculum in 3 months, i would guess a large majority not even in one year. I teach programming and have long years of experience with learners. At the moment I take the udacity nanodegree in Deep learning, and this alone takes about three months of real work for me (I'm an experienced Java/Kotlin dev). So all in all, your style of video is entertaining, but I cannot take the recommendations seriously.
I agree. It’s a catchy title, people should take as long as they need.
@@SirajRaval Well, not only the title is catchy, you start your text with "How is a complete beginner supposed to get started learning machine learning? ", which is in my view misguiding and seriously harmful for real beginners. Nevertheless I want to acknowledge your unique ability to make such entertaining high-quality videos about complex topics.
Thankyou so much siraj for this course 🤩
happy to see Siray with a new vibe after a long day🔥🔥
Welcome back Siraj!! So glad to see you’re still championing AI/ML. Will the be any instructor led youtubes or is this curriculum all self directed?
This one is self directed. But I’m going to experiment with new education models so stay tuned
Welcome back Siraj.
Now I'm set to go all the way with School Of AI West Africa. (Head Dean) Hope you'll work with us as usual. Nice to have you back.
Your resilience and spirit is remarkable. Despite all that happened, you pushed through, you continue to release content that will help others. You are such an inspiration. Just keep up the good work. Many of us are rooting for you.
you posted something on twitter awhile ago but gone!! 🤔🤔🤔
I Siraj we trust. Sign me up.
You were my inspiration when I was starting to learn It's nice return to your channel and see that you preserve the quality.
Siraj, honestly please just go back making your videos. I dont really care what you done in your past. Your vids are incredibly useful. Please make videos on Reinforcement algos and more complex versions of it
You are a great curriculum designer.
is this also for complete beginners that have 0 coding knowledge and bad at maths ?
I think u need python fundamentals but no specific requirements for math :) basic precalculus and algebra are required I think for calculus. I did week 1 and it did require u to know a lot of python to solve problems
Welcome back, what’s done is done. Learnt a lot from you, keep posting more 🎉
Hey Siraj, AI world has changed a big time since you left making videos, how about you starting making regular videos just like old times 🙂
Seems more like a 3 year course to me, but I will gladly take it ;-) Thanks for taking the time putting all this useful info together!
Damn I missed you
I'm unable to join the discord server
Thank you for sharing this awesome curriculum, Siraj. Hope to see videos from you regularly.
Question , Week 3 is the entire iPython cookbook?
always love ur content. thanks siraj
Yes, correct
💌
Welcome back Siraj. Nice to see you making videos again in 2023. Loved watching your videos as a college student. Learnt machine learning by following your videos. Please keep up the good work. See you next week.
hi siraj please be back like before .no matter the content,u can even show your vlogs too.u inspire us
Discord link not working.
Fixed
Hi Siraj, your videos are a great content. However I have a small request. Whenever you pronounce any website or tool name , that does not come out very clearly. So if you can add those details in description it will be good. I observed this in many videos. That's why a request. Thanks
will do, thank you for that helpful feedback!
Hey Siraj welcome back!
I'm a big fan of all the resources!
But just a heads up for newcomers with the timeline, I've been studying ML for ~5 years and the resources in Made with ML (month 3, week 1) alone could take 6-12 months to go through (I'm personally going through them right now).
ML is a broad field and you can get pretty damn good with 1-3 years of study but don't beat yourself up if you're not where you want to be in 3 months.
Topi master phir wapas aa gaya
Wow the thief is back
Since 2017, I've learned a lot from Siraj. I'm happy to see him back to his energetic self.
After trying to learn for a couple of weeks, I've come to the realization that completing this syllabus within three months seems impossible. It appears to be a gimmick aimed at garnering more followers or likes. Now I find myself doubting whether this curriculum is worth pursuing.
Take as long as you need
@@SirajRaval Thank you for your time Siraj. But do you still suggest following this path to become a machine learning engineer?
Why?
AI Landscape has changed big time and we need an updated curriculum
I learned machine learning built models etc, but got no job bro, now working in digital marketing
i wish bad things didnt happen with you cause i like you no bull shyt...
What happened to him, really missed him on here?
😈 P r o m o S M
Fair warning, this is not for complete beginners.
I think the video is satire. Thats 10k hours of knowledge 😂
LOL, ML engineers in 3 months, do people really believe this? or do they know so little about the topic that they think they don't need years and tons of math to become one?
I mean he says 3 months but the contents alone must at least take a year to complete lol
The discord link on github page expired and I couldnt find the related colab notebook for transformers
Just fixed it! Please try discord again. The transformers notebook colab is here colab.research.google.com/drive/1zl787bEG-aMTxUU5reDxfl8hR62EIdji?usp=sharing
I know about your channel by chatGpt only. He suggested for AI learning
Thank you Seraj
