Nice list. I'm glad you left the Crazy Taxi games off unlike so many other DC racer lists on UA-cam. These games are definitely more driving than racing. I love Revolt tho. The track creator is insane. My friends and I would make tracks that were actually broken, but by hitting wild jumps in the right spot, you could land onto seemingly unreachable sections. What videos like this highlight is how many awesome games were released for the Dreamcast. Being able to have a "top 15" of any genre and still not able to fit all the good games, for a console that only had a shelf life for around 2 years is simply astounding. I love this machine to death, to this day I still consider it being the best video game console in history. Such a massive jaw-dropping leap in graphics, incredible games library... I remember buying it at the time wanting to persuade my friends to get a Dreamcast as well, but they just waited for the "next Playstation" (I don't know how Sony did it, but during one generation they generated an incredible amount of brand loyalty)... When the PS2 released, the games had terrible ghosting to cover the insane amount of interlaced flickering. It looked like crap compared to the Dreamcast. Luckily the PS2 hardware eventually proved itself, but really, so would the Dreamcast if it just had more years on the market, and better sales. I mean, today people have been able to fit 64MB worth of textures in the Dreamcast memory due to its built-in compression technique. I could not agree with you more on this one. SEGA wanted to deliver a console that righted the wrongs of the Saturn and they absolutely did. Clean architecture, easy to develop for etc. then their teams had to provide the games and they did. Sadly the promise and hype machine around the PS2 and the fact it played DVD’s (which kept it in the game initially given the games had issues like you mention above). Incredible time to be in gaming if you owned a DC
Trickstyle is extremely underrated and I would consider it to be the best racer on the Dreamcast. At first I hated the game because I kept crashing and losing, but it turned out to have a steep learning curve. Once I mastered the learning curve I began getting addicted to the game. I love the game for the same reason I love Mario Kart Wii - chaotic and tough, but extremely satisfying once you master it. Like Mario Kart Wii, Trickstyle even lets you discover and pull off crazy ultra-shortcuts, some of which the developer never even intended. Did I mention Trickstyle has some crazy textures for a 1999 game?
@@thegamelounge659 Watching speedruns of the game also helped me get good at the game and also gave me motivation to learn the game's mechanics. Even after 100%'ing the game I still come back to it JUST to practice my skills and attempt to do some "speedrunning" myself. A lot of people criticize the game because it's "too hard" but really, it's more of a skill issue on them. This game is frustrating at first, but this isn't a game for casuals, but rather people who are willing to take the time to really learn the game's mechanics and to experience the satisfaction of mastering their skills. Pro tips: You should complete the guide dude's tutorials first, that way you will have all the tricks unlocked and you will learn everything you need to know. The tutorials can be done at any time, but I suggest completing them ASAP as they are the only way to unlock new tricks, and you will need these tricks for stunt events. To ride the green luge trails, hold up on the analog stick while pressing B near them and you will be flying. If you want to fall from great heights without bailing when you land, let go of the throttle and hold it again right before you land.
I had a dreamcast when they first came out, my mate done me a boot disc so I could play copies, one of my favourite consoles along g with the snes and n64
I really enjoyed this list! One correction. Test Drive Le Mans is 30 fps. But is rock solid and has a perfect frame-pacing. It is so good that it does indeed feel like is 60fps. I don't blame you to mistake about this one. Demolition Race would fair well to the list of honorable mentions. It is a shame that it is just a PS1 port but is still a solid game. Half of those games I played at time and the other half only after emulation. Today I own a dreamcast again and still enjoying it. Looks phenomenal over a VGA CRT!
@@thegamelounge659 It’s worth a look, it’s not perfect as controls are a little twitchy but it’s quite a unique title. That's a really good list. Credit for putting Looney Toons Space Race quite high and also Star Wars Episode One Racer. Le Mans 24hr was my most played followed by Daytona USA 2001. I love the Sega Rally 2 box art though
Totally with you on SW RACER. The DC version got a lot of stuck for not having enough improvement over the N64 version but it’s still a great game. Sega Rally 2 has actually aged really well playing it today!
Speed Devils was one of my favourite titles of all time on the Dreamcast, was always one we’d use for multiplayer races. Definitely a hidden gem, it deserved more! Edit: Great recommendation by the algorithm this morning. Subscribed. 👍
I remember 4x4 evolution. I use to play that game on a demo disc non stop lol. I remember thinking how realistic the graphics were. That and Super runnabout.
I didn’t play the game until recently on the PS2. It didn’t grab me to be honest but I would imagine seeing it 20 years ago would be different. I never played Super Runabout. Need to look that one up
@@thegamelounge659 It deserves definitely at least a try, maybe single player is quite the same every race, but multiplayer is where you have the best fun, split screen up to 4 is a carnage especially when you unlock the latest vehicles 😂😂
Thank you. Have had a little break from UA-cam. Mainly to get a better mic and editing software. Next video is very ambitious (a top 50) but will be put soon
My top 5 best SEGA DREAMCAST game as of 2024: 1. Test Drive Le Mans 2. Metropolis Street Racer 3. Vanishing Point 4. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 1 5. F1 World GP.
So glad to see Vanishing Point getting the love it deserves! Yeah it takes a bit of time to learn not to correct the oversteer, but it's still a fantastic arcade racer in it's own right.
As someone who has been playing racing games since the black n white overhead Atari racing game in the arcade and who loved the Spectrum this list is.... fantastic! Le Mans for me is the best as the handling and depth just pip it over MSR. With regards Daytona if you play it with a wheel on the DC it helps a lot, no more twitchiness. Ferrari F355 is a weird one. On the one hand yes it's an arcade racer but only in the very literal sense of being a game released in the arcade. Otherwise it's an out and out sim racer. That must have surprised a lot of players as they slammed into the wall on the first turn, I know it did me 🙂
Thanks for the comment. I really want to pick up a DC wheel. I wonder if the controller twitchiness could ever be ‘patched’. I have never really tried it out. Totally agree with you on F355, superb racer but total curveball when you first try it.
Where is that Dreamcast livery on the car at the beginning of the video from? I vaguely remember it from the official Dreamcast magazine but does it appear in any game?
To my knowledge it doesn’t appear in any game. Like you say it was promotional content from a magazine. I believe people recreated it using the Livery creator in Forza Motorsport 2 on X360
Le Mans is 30 fps tho (but yeah excellent game, good gameplay and good career). Melbourne House were on fire at the time by also doing Looney Tunes Space Race and Deathkarz.
I would have loved to own the Dreamcast. I could only afford to own one console and chose to hold out for the PS2. But I was always planning to earn more money and get Sega’s machine. It was such a shock and a shame when Sega abandoned it - too soon if you ask me. This machine had so much class.
Yes sadly I think as it got cheaper many would have probably grabbed a Dreamcast. Shame they couldn’t find a way for it to be profitable like Nintendo did with the M64 and GC
These look SOOOOOOOOO much better on a CRT. i spent so much time with Tokyo xtreme and sega GT. bought them used from gamestop in the early 2000s for about 3 bucks each. i miss those days
Yeah happy days. I remember picking up DC games brand new for £3.99 towards the end of the lifecycle when people were selling off extra stock. Yes CRT will always be what it is designed for but the DC actually due to its higher res doesn’t look as bad as PS2/XBOX on a LCD
Speed Devils is insanely underrated. I had the PC version, Speed Busters. Slightly more beautiful, but less content. Both versions are highly recommended!⭐
You're right about Daytona USA. It does still hold up in modern times. It has that distinct Sega style and charm that is timeless. I still play it on a regular basis.
MSR is my favorite racing game of all time; one of my favorite games period. Some flaws in the gameplay; namely the ease of abusing the Kudos system. But in terms of atmosphere, the joy of driving around listening to the radio? /chefkiss.
And the fact that no matter what car you have, how well you drive, what car the CPU has, they're within a second MAX of you at all times during the race. If the last corner of a track is a hairpin you basically must let the CPU past so you can bounce off them around the corner 😄
Sadly no, when the DC was shown behind closed doors at E3, there was a Scud Race tech demo but it never became a full game. Model 3 to Naomi/DC didn’t actually translate well.

I remember being angry about the Ferrari f355 game back in the day because it didn't have a car view haha I always use the car view in racing games I like to be able to see the car. I couldn't play it because of that. This looks like it's been emulated on core type r Awesome build that is
Yes, I use FlyCast for PC. The only shortcoming is the slight input lag but it makes life so much easier for capture. I actually sold my HDMI DC. But DC with VGA looks incredible.
MSR was pretty good, but Le Mans 24 Hrs is easily my most played Dreamcast racing game. Countless hours of fun with that one. I bought a used copy of the PS2 version many years ago, just to compare the two, but to this day I still haven't tried that PS2 version. Vanishing Point was quite fun too. A bit too frustrating in the long run, but enjoyable in small doses. Sega GT never felt quite right to me, and I didn't like it much. Same with Ferrari F355, I couldn't quite get into it, though it has to be said that it was technically impressive.
Sega GT came out late and the end of DC was close so i think it was rushed and needed at least a year of deveelopment to became a good game. Mostly like Crazy Taxi 2, you can feel it needed to be finished fast. Ome game i miss is 4 wheel thunder, it`s Haydro thunder with moster trucks, maybe a bit less fun but still worth playing.
I arrived here because I had a PS1 cd of the Le mans 24 Hours and trying to play it again or recreate the experience was a crazy journey to me (specially finding out there were so many versions of this game, and there are even 2 different pc Ports, the PS1 version and the PS2 version, so those are almost the same game but different driving physics and different track quality and graphic quality, and at the same time there is the Dreamcast version wich is miles better than the PS2 variant.
Yeah, MSR and PGR are still my Most favourit Games, but at Moment i try Sega rally2, works now even in Redream 👍. I think it is time for a Dreamcast Mini maybe with Xbox (360/one/Series) gamepad kompatibilite, it is cheaper and suits quite well! 👍👍👍

The one i truly love on Dreamcast Racing games was it controller, the analog and trigger button really so precisely, grest for handling. My favorites was : - Tokyo extreme rscer - ferrari f355 - Daytona - sega rally - lemans 24h For SEGA GT, i think it fall behind Gran Turismo, even GT2 PS1 still better on gameplay.
I remember playing that game at my friend's house and couple years later i bought the Xbox and i thought the Dreamcast game was called project Gotham racing lol....
I wish they had of released scud racer on dreamcast years ago And also a perfect arcade port of daytona usa,the version we got of daytona was ok but graphically it looked nothing like the original,it was all cartoony looking
Agree with you on both points. Scud Race was actually running on the Dreamcast and shown behind closed doors at E3 when SEGA was revealing the DC. Daytona I agree, the controls have always just been off when using the DC pad to me.
Yeah I remember reading about that, makes you wonder why they changed their minds about releasing scud racer at the last minute,I guess it would of ate into the arcade profits. At least regarding daytona usa we finally got a arcade perfect port of it years later on the xbox 360 and ps3,those ports were perfect and even better than the original they made it wide-screen.
@thegamelounge659 this game above others, I think. There's something about the film-like framerate to it as well. There's something about it. It kinda reminds me of Halo 1 on the original Xbox. There's a flow to this game that is very well dialed-in.
@@thegamelounge659 Yeah it would be pretty cool. I'm talking about these games, because it's a really serious and well-made first Indycar for the time, although we have the INDY 500 made for arcades, games like F-1 that I make is, let's say, along with Super Monaco GP and Virtua Racing the foreshadowing of that we have in games (F1 simulators) these days. But I need to say that games on your list I didn't even know. Too much! Congratulations!
I can't get my flycast to run Le Mans 24h at 60fps, running locked at 30 during races aparently. I've tried a bunch of configs but I have no idea how to fixe that. And for a while I've had a bug where the sound crashes and just keeps repeating the same 1sec of sound while the game keeps going. Back then I played Sega GT but ported for the PC trying to scratch the GT2 itch at the time I remember I enjoyed the game and the graphics looked pretty decent or even better than GT2 but driving experience, carrer and general gameplay I favored GT2 more.
Sadly I made an error in this video. Le Mans in fact runs at 30fps. I totally agree with you on Sega GT, it certainly looked better than GT2 but you would expect that given the hardware but I think GT2 was the superior game. That being said it did fill a void for DC owners. Sega GT 2002 on Xbox on the other hand was first class
@@thegamelounge659 I think the first has far better music and the difficulty level is far more balanced. The second has more content (rivals and asfalt) and much better graphics, but it also has terrible slowdown. I think both are fantastic though. Wish the first had VGA support.
@@thegamelounge659 the fmv doesn't work in Dino Crisis when using VGA I believe. It isn't such a great game anyway, so I'm not that bothered by that one.
F355 was too pedantic for me. And MSR was unfortunately much too hard and painful because it was too demanding on memory. Otherwise I realize that I should really buy a Dreamcast, not only because I have 2 sport games at home that I love but also because there are car games that actually look great. For Sega Rally, I think it's because this game was in every arcade games public room that I like it. Because to be more objective, it's very difficult and the cars behave like soap. Very strange gameplay.
F355 certainly isn’t for everyone but I like the fact the learning curve to drive without aid was almost the game 😂 MSR I love though. One of my favourite games. Although I think I played the entire game in an Audi TT. Graduating to the faster cars increased the difficulty!
@@thegamelounge659 Lol, I barely played to MSR because it was asking so much saving space that I got bored by it.🤭 Anyway, my experience with the Dreamcast was mostly impregnated by Virtua Tennis and NBA 2K. Those games were so addictive to me. So I did not really care about the rest anyway. Yet, I was into car video games. But Gran Turismo conquered my heart at that time and took the all space because GT was such an experience at that time. As long as you don't get the Escudo man, you just follow the GT path day and night😅
MSR is way too hard for my taste. I don't like it at all. I'm Flag 2 Flag was a really good racing game, by the way I'll definitely have to try out a couple of these racing games on the Redream emulator. Thanks for the list!

I never really got into the game but this post has made me think I should try this one again.
You forgot of about Vanishing Point’s soundtrack. Some really sick ambient techno that I don’t think any other game sounds like
I had a dreamcast when they first came out, my mate done me a boot disc so I could play copies, one of my favourite consoles along g with the snes and n64
The Britain accent it's amazing.
Congratulations for the video.
Yes my mistake on Le Mans. It runs at 30. Dreamcast holds up so well today!
Definitely agree with 1 & 2, so glad you included Le Mans. However TrickStyle should have been in the top 10 for sure
I think the more I think about this I’m with you. I think I just haven’t played Trickstyle enough
@@thegamelounge659 It’s worth a look, it’s not perfect as controls are a little twitchy but it’s quite a unique title. Also whilst I have your attention I wonder if there’s something you could do to the sound in your recordings, it’s hard to hear what you’re saying sometimes. Good vid tho, subscribed!
Subscribed. 👍
Yes I loved it. Sadly didn’t play it until just a few years ago. Can’t believe I still find new games I love for the DC!
I remember loving 4x4 evolution but i honestly cant remember if it was actually good or just a childhood favorite
I’ve played it a few times. I think it’s a good game. Further proof that there are even more DC racers out there!
Need to look that one up
@@thegamelounge659 Super Runnabout was really fun, but it wasn't really a racing game, like Crazy Taxi.
Forgot Tokyo Xtreme racer! Nice video buddy!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed
Nice list! I would also recommend Stunt GP, had a lot of fun on both pc and dc version in split screen 😊
Always been tempted to try it. Seems some love it and others hate it
@@thegamelounge659 It deserves definitely at least a try, maybe single player is quite the same every race, but multiplayer is where you have the best fun, split screen up to 4 is a carnage especially when you unlock the latest vehicles 😂😂
Speed Devils was my favorite game since 2001 on Dreamcast. The control of cars was 100 percent arcade, great.
Excellent video showcasing some Dreamcast racing games.
I subscribed, because I want to see more content like this. 👍✨🎮
Thank you. Have had a little break from UA-cam. Mainly to get a better mic and editing software. Next video is very ambitious (a top 50) but will be put soon

Great video, thank you. It'd be interesting to see you do something similar for the Saturn!

@@thegamelounge659 Wow! Thank you so much! :-) I'll watch that later this evening!!! 😁. Have a great weekend!!
My top 5 best SEGA DREAMCAST game as of 2024:
Yes once you get used to the controls it’s great. It’s a shame so many people I know played it once and discarded it
As someone who has been playing racing games since the black n white overhead Atari racing game in the arcade and who loved the Spectrum this list is....
Nice list. I love the Dreamcast racing games
Great list pretty much spot on , but a few more honorable mentions: Stunt GP, Magforce Racing, POD 2
I’ve always wanted to check out POD2, the original was great but reviews weren’t too good for the sequel so I avoided it. I should try it out
@@thegamelounge659 dont get me wrong its not the best racer out there but its pretty good fun and its still online today
FERRARI F355, DAYTONA USA 2001 & SEGA RALLY 2 were my chosed favorite Racing Games on Dreamcast.
Yeah, love all of these. although Daytona without the wheel had questionable controls.
Stunt GP, MSR and Le Mans 24 hours were the best for me.
Im a big fan of PC Racing Sim, hardcore one, but Stunt GP was great and fun to play.
I have never played it. Reviews were poor but a lot of people have mentioned this game in these comments. I should try it
These look SOOOOOOOOO much better on a CRT. i spent so much time with Tokyo xtreme and sega GT. bought them used from gamestop in the early 2000s for about 3 bucks each. i miss those days
I need to play it more. I enjoyed it but again a game I picked up far later so not same nostalgia factor
My favourite ones are Metropolis , tokyo xtreme racer 2 and ferrari f355. ❤
You're right about Daytona USA. It does still hold up in modern times. It has that distinct Sega style and charm that is timeless. I still play it on a regular basis.
It’s a great game. Although the controls just feel a little off on the DC version
Le mans best Racing game i played in my phone ❤ using Flycast at 1440p thank u man
Amazing, I always seem to get graphical errors when I play this through emulation
@@thegamelounge659 yesh Widescreen graphics issue
Good to know 👍🏻
What a blast playing online racing replys on F355. It was tense to watch! Many late to school morning due to playing it late into the night.
PS: with the assists turned off, it was pretty hardcore at the time and much more engaging to drive fast than anything else I had tried at that point.
MSR is my favorite racing game of all time; one of my favorite games period. Some flaws in the gameplay; namely the ease of abusing the Kudos system. But in terms of atmosphere, the joy of driving around listening to the radio? /chefkiss.
100% agree, this was mind blowing
And the fact that no matter what car you have, how well you drive, what car the CPU has, they're within a second MAX of you at all times during the race. If the last corner of a track is a hairpin you basically must let the CPU past so you can bounce off them around the corner 😄
Get this man a new mic! Great video though!
😂😂😂
was Scud Race not released on Dreamcast?
Sadly no, when the DC was shown behind closed doors at E3, there was a Scud Race tech demo but it never became a full game. Model 3 to Naomi/DC didn’t actually translate well.
MSR still looks fantastic, i love it so much but my #1 is TD Le Mans. It's one of my favourite racers ever
Agree, the car models don’t look as good as I remember but the whole thing holds up really well. As does Le Mans, these games are over 20 years old!
I'm old. Experienced all of these when they first released 😂.
Nothing wrong with that! Doesn’t make you old (yet!) 10 more years at least
Holy hell… the graphics on that Tokyo highway game (#2 on the list) are INSANELY good! They look like Forza 3 or 4 graphics on Xbox360!
Totally agree, I think sometimes the Dreamcasts clean video output (especially VGA) really makes the games pop despite the lower polygon count
@@thegamelounge659 That's a good point. It is so damn crisp!
RUSH 2049 best racing game ever . I play it now using HDMI cable and it's smooth and sounds amazing on my 5.4.2 surround sound

Yep! Incredible games. Still fun
I remember metropolis street racer when it was raining, when you got inside the tunnel, the rain was falling inside. That was a shame to me.
I never noticed this… if I ever see it I doubt I’ll unsee it
I didn’t want to spoil the video and skip ahead but i was sure metropolis street racer was number one . The best game I had back in the day
You are a man of great taste!!!
I remember being angry about the Ferrari f355 game back in the day because it didn't have a car view haha I always use the car view in racing games I like to be able to see the car.
I couldn't play it because of that.
This looks like it's been emulated on core type r
Awesome build that is
Yes it’s strange they didn’t add a view to the DC port. They actually did for the PS2 version.
Did they really,I might go and look for the ps2 version that sounds awesome.
Yes, it’s very cheap to pick up too
gotta say that toyko extreme racer 2 is my ultimate favorite racer on the dreamcast
Suzuki Alstare motorcycle racing.
Test drive 6
4x4 Evolution
i liked the off road game the had ..u could see the changing of gears, foot work 🥂 good list
Tokyo xtreme racer 2 should have been number one. I still think about the music till this day after that TXR, then MSR, vanishing point is 4th.
There is still so much love for the TXR games today. I may have to go back and play them again
Sega Rally 2 all the way for me.
I hear you, I actually prefer the game now. I remember being disappointed that it didn’t hold up to the Model 3 version. Nowadays it’s just fun!
Great list! Marvelous games!
Thanks! Appreciate the comment!
How does the gameplay look so good? are you using an emulator?
Le Mans is technically the best racer on the DC. I was amazed how well this one holds up. MSR less so but has serious nostalgia for me
@@thegamelounge659Mrs or project Gotham father was awesom.,
Sega GT came out late and the end of DC was close so i think it was rushed and needed at least a year of deveelopment to became a good game.
Demolition Racer No Exit is one of the best also need to figure it out
I’ve never played it. I need to check it out

Nice vid, but you need to sort your mic out. It's a tad quiet and the buzz is nasty.
Yes not the best I’m afraid, have since got a new one. Thanks for the comment
The problem with Vanishing Point is that I can think of no other racing game for the Dreamcast where the cars are so hard to control.
Another point I agree with. It looked great but took a lot of getting used to. Would be far higher if controls were tighter
The one i truly love on Dreamcast Racing games was it controller, the analog and trigger button really so precisely, grest for handling.
My favorites was :
- Tokyo extreme rscer
- ferrari f355
- Daytona
- sega rally
- lemans 24h
For SEGA GT, i think it fall behind Gran Turismo, even GT2 PS1 still better on gameplay.
Almost all these are good with a few exceptions. All I want to say is I want to have a play room with retro consoles.
Yep I feel you, out of interest what are the exceptions?
@@thegamelounge659 they are the Mario Kart style games for me, either way the list was awesome.
I remember playing that game at my friend's house and couple years later i bought the Xbox and i thought the Dreamcast game was called project Gotham racing lol....
MSR is a best racing game of Dreamcast.
Fantastic!
Couldn’t agree more
I love the F1 games on the Dreamcast
Enjoyed listening to this. Some bad line hum on this though sadly, quite distracting. A better mic/interface and these'll be good vids :)
100% agree. New mic and equipment needed for videos in 2023
That last game literally looks like it has Ray Tracing.
Yeah, the visuals actually don’t hold up as well as say GT3 on the PS2. But it is pretty incredible
I wish they had of released scud racer on dreamcast years ago
And also a perfect arcade port of daytona usa,the version we got of daytona was ok but graphically it looked nothing like the original,it was all cartoony looking
That's it there xbox 360 version ua-cam.com/video/fVDEMc5AGGM/v-deo.html that's perfection
Does Re-volt count?
I think it does, the game always frustrated me. It was either drive perfectly and finish first or make a small error and be a distant last
RUSH 2049 would of been my #1 . None of the others even compared to it .
I love the game and it’s arcade style really holds up today

Thanks for watching!
Metropolis Street Racing
Ferrari 355 Challenger
Sega Rally 2
Can’t argue with these 3!
Looney Tunes Space Race looks like it came out a month ago.
Cel shaded graphics really hold up so well!
@thegamelounge659 this game above others, I think. There's something about the film-like framerate to it as well. There's something about it. It kinda reminds me of Halo 1 on the original Xbox. There's a flow to this game that is very well dialed-in.
Great list! But Daytona is #1 for me. Perfect arcade port and great controls with steering wheel.
Interesting, I have never tried it with a wheel. The controls with the standard DC controller arent great
It wasn't a perfect arcade port, in fact it was criticized for not being faithful to the arcade.
0:26 what game??
Awsome videos but Flag to Flag CART it's amazing racing game and F1 World Grand Prix 2. But i'm like your list congrats.
A few people have mentioned this now. I need to check this game out!
@@thegamelounge659 - Oh you haven't played Flag-to-Flag!! lol That makes sense then why it's not on the list. It's a favorite of mine.
My top 15 would be:
15. Star Wars Racer
14. 18 Wheeler
13. Hydro Thunder
12. V-Rally 2
11. Sega Rally 2
10. Daytona USA 2001
9. Demolition Racer
8. Re-Volt
7. Vanishing Point
6. F355 Challenge
5. Tokyo Highway Challenge 2
4. Le Mans 24 hours
3. Speed Devils (online)
2. MSR
1. Tokyo Highway Challenge
Good list! Interesting that you rate THC higher than it’s sequel. Demolition Racer is a game I have never checked out. Will take a look
@@thegamelounge659 I think the first has far better music and the difficulty level is far more balanced. The second has more content (rivals and asfalt) and much better graphics, but it also has terrible slowdown. I think both are fantastic though. Wish the first had VGA support.
Yes, hopefully the community patch it one day like they did with Dino Crisis
F355 certainly isn’t for everyone but I like the fact the learning curve to drive without aid was almost the game 😂
MSR I love though.
Metropolis and Hydro Thunder are top 2, for me.
2 fantastic games. What’s number 3?
MSR is way too hard for my taste. I don't like it at all. I'm Flag 2 Flag was a really good racing game, by the way
I'll definitely have to try out a couple of these racing games on the Redream emulator. Thanks for the list!
I have never actually tried Flag 2 Flag. Will look it up.
Redream is a fantastic emulator. Even on low end Android devices.
If I remember correctly the European DC version contained bugs that made the Kudos system easier
I’ll look into it. Real life is in the way of these right now but I have a video coming very shortly
I know this is a subjetive top but don't you think Vanishing Point should not be on the last pos????
I know people who love the game. I thought it was good but didn’t love it
I’m curious why this video blew up so much compared to the rest of the videos on the channel. UA-cam algorithm be weird and I’m not saying it lacks quality I’m just saying the UA-cam algorithm is hella weird.
I really don’t know. Like I say I just am doing this for fun. Great so many have watched though…
However, I do think I have made far better videos than this which have picked up a hundredth of the views this video has.
@@thegamelounge659 yeah it’s definitely odd what UA-cam deems worthy but at least you don’t seem to dwell on it a lot. Dwelling on views can really kill drive and enjoyment.
How the *hell* did Speed Devils place above Sega GT???
I think when I made the list I took note of how games held up today. Perhaps in 2000 SEGA GT would have ranked higher but sim racers have come a long way. Whereas arcade racers have aged a little better
