You have a new subscriber here. I too enjoy Disney villainous. Have you played Marvel or Star Wars villainous? Is there a way to find out which Disney villainous character is easier than the others or their difficulty rating? Thank you for making great content.
First of all ... Welcome aboard! I have not played Marvel, but I do have the Star Wars Villainous boxes. I will be getting the new one when it comes out. As for your last question, I just might make a video which rates the difficulty of each villain. That's really great idea! Thank you very much and thanks for watching!
Hey, just checking if you found the video I talked about, sorry I wasn’t able to send the link, UA-cam was being weird. Also I believe Mowgli’s ability says he only places a fire token at his location. So you wouldn’t have been able to remove the fire and defeat Mowgli on the same turn.
@@theabsentfriend4002no problem. Also in case you didn’t see the video name it was DISNEY VILLAINOUS SINGLE PLAYER - How to play by Disney Lorcana Club. I’ll also try to see if I can post the link now.
Well looks like Shere Khan will challenge Prince John as one of the easy winners IF he is not fated constantly. Fire tokens and the wolf pack (which removes monkeys at that location) seem to be the way to go. Denying him power does seem to be a good idea as well to stop him playing "Sure to pick up his scent". I do think if you miss a opportunity it is better to press on than rewind as that causes a lot of confusion (and when playing with others they are not going to allow you to do it anyway). Also I would have liked the game to have gone a bit longer. From the Disney Villainous wiki Effect Clarifications: "In general, an Effect can only be played if you can do what its Ability says. If a clause in an Effect's Ability begins with "you may" or "up to", then it is optional, and the card can be played without fulfilling it." However in the DV wiki description of "He's my Friend" Clarification: This can be played during a Fate action even if there are no Heroes in Shere Khan's Realm. In which case, a location is chosen and the card is resolved and discard without further effect. All in all SK players will be hoping for an early appearance of Mowgli, or getting enough power to play "Sure to pick up his scent" to get Mowgli into play and then having the Monkey's or "It's me Shere Khan" to put out the fire and then vanquish Mowgli. Sounds a lot but a lot easier than many other villains if you stay focused.
@@davidwhitfield6025 Well said, my friend. Some very good points in there! I will be redoing both KC and SK solos as I messed up royally in both and I can’t just let it go!
Played this set with my wife. Not sure how Shere can win. King gets so much power its crazy. Fire blocking power actions is back-breaking. Yea im salty lol
@@MoisesCangas I’ve played against Shere a few times, and lost most of them. My recommendation is to spread out the monkeys and diffuse fire as soon as it spawns.
Shere Khan is like such an easy villain. Back when I had my own idea for Khan, I had a fate card called The Man Village which is like an On the Run for Mowgli, shuffling him back into the fate deck. I don't know if that would really work with the official version, as Shere Khan doesn't really have a way to get back cards from the discard pile other than Trust in Me and Sure to Pick Up His Trail to get Mowgli.
@@theabsentfriend4002 But again, do you think that could work with the official version? I mean yes, Khan does have Sure to Pick Up his Trail to get Mowgli back and Trust in Me to get that effect back, but those cards can be rare
@@connorplisga3718 Yeah I do. Cause once mowgli is out, it gets difficult to stop him. So having a devastating Fate card to make the villain have to backtrack a lot to get things back in order, I think is just fine

At 6:27, how did you know you are being fated?
