First tour my father and I took we walked out and were like “yeah they get it” Bardstown’s campus/distillery as close to Napa as you’re gonna get for Bourbon. Truly and experience
That’s a very fair comment. It’s a state of the art facility and it seems like they have a good handle on things. It’s been quite the investment and I’m wondering if they will see a substantial return given the way the market is going. Maybe they have already? Glad you both had a good tour.
You had to have been way early seeing how no other individual was around. I’m a huge Bardstown fan boy and want to visit there someday. Great video it looks like you had a great time. Hopefully you got some great bottles. Enjoy!!🥃🥃🥃
I'd give Bardstown a nod for their "moderness". The glass fronted rickhouse is pretty cool. Great bar/restaurant/gift shop. Reminded me of a high end golf course club house. Best tour? Probably not for me.
I enjoy the modernness of the property. I also enjoyed the gift shop and bar. But the restaurant was nothing special and overpriced for what you get. We opted to eat at Mammy's.
Thanks for the feedback. I didn’t want to take away from their tour. I don’t want folks watching my video and then not needing to do the tour. It’s my respect for the distillery for losing me to film.
Awesome video Patrick! I’ve got some videos to catch up on it seems. I couldn’t help but notice that at about 7:55 the one bottle you spin around is the exact one I’ve said is one of my all time favorites, coincidence or planned? Regardless, it’s cool! Such a great bottle of whiskey. I really liked the cinematic shots you took, very well done Patrick! Hopefully I can work through the videos I’ve missed 🤞
Ah you caught that. Glad you enjoyed this one. I would have liked to have done some talking but the way I see it is if I talk through it or have audio from the tour guide then it’s a disservice to the distilleries. I think that this way it gives the viewer a look at what the tour is like and then they can go and enjoy it with the tour guide. They had some gems in that lounge. All the discovery batches. Would have minded sneaking out with a batch 3 lol.
Beautiful place to visit. I have frequented the gift shop, but not taken the tour. 🥃
It’s worth doing. They are very innovative.

Thanks for sharing dude. Looks like a very modern place.
They had just finished with the speak easy when I got there. It’s a pretty cool spot and I’d love to go back again.
I had no idea this place was such a big operation. I would say some serious money put into there.
Looks like it Alex. I would say if you are down in Kentucky you have to check it out.

It was pretty early but the tour was not sold out as it was just me lol.
Have you heard any rumors when Discovery 12 will be available in the Denver metro area?
I haven’t seen anything. More than likely anytime now as we are not normally behind on the discovery batches imo

It’s a sharp looking place with lots of investment. Heck how about a 9 hole course around the rickhouses?

Wierd. No commentary. This one is a miss from me, sorry. Normally enjoy your videos

@@TheWhiskeyCove no worries. Maybe a narration at points would push the effect. I'm heading there in a few weeks.
